Needed a "rest hotel" to and from my ultimate destination. The hotel was perfect for this use. Very clean, very quiet and appears to be very safe. For the money, this hotel was perfect.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel smelled bad, and they had moth balls all over hotel, in our bathroom our tub was clogged through out our stay.. Hotel needs lots of updating.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"good hotel for the price!!!"
Great hotel for the price! Very clean and well kept, the only negative I would say was the smell from the lobby of food being cooked. It was very strong! Other than that it was a very comfortable and affordable place to stay for the weekend.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good for casual travel"
The room was good compared to what I was expecting. Staff were friendly and interacted with us on a personal level. Made us feel like we were appreciated. Breakfast was not the best, but it was sufficient. Easy access to interstate and store.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Get for Business people and family"
It was very nice for the money, very clean and quiet. Beds were very comfortable. I would stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great service and comfortable beds. Afordable rates. Will be back.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good for overnight"
Everything was good except that the wireless internet would not work in the room. No solution was easily reached.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great place to stay"
Recently stayed here after a family event. Very clean hotel and great location for the price. Would stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Unusual smell on first floor due to management cooking. Management was very nice and rooms were well kept. But, there are not a lot of guests checking into the hotel...seems like a ghost town.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
WHEN WE WENT DOWN FOR BREAKFAST AT 7:00 AM THERE WAS NO MORE FOODGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean Hotel But There Was Awful Odors"
The only draw back were stong odors in the lobby, hallways and our room. Hard to determine what the odors were but they were strong. We had to stop at Wal-Mart and get get some odor control sprays to try and cover the sour odor in our room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Parking lot was small ... But why pay $30+ extra for parking? Which is what anything within 5 miles of Deer Park costs. They gave us the handicapped room, non-smoking, BUT previous occupant(s) had smoked and it needs carpet cleaned. Manager willingly gave us a different room as it was a Tuesday, but I suspect we would be SOL in trouble if it were a […] fully booked weekend night. ASK when you book!!! This is a corporate owned facility and they don't pay attention to problems like this as would a family owned motel. This is always a problem at the 2-3star motels where management doesn't want to spend the money to clean up after trashy people. Every Super 8, corporate or family owned, we have ever stayed at never bleach their towels, they appear and smell clean, but come on, what does that cost? We will stay there again because of price and location, but the rest is marginal value. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Do they own a vacuum cleaner ?"
Worst continental breakfast ever. Carpet in room very dirty.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We got what we wanted out of the stay. It is right off I10, but didn't look like a good area. I was a little fearful to go out late at night to eat.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cheap and it shows"
The smell on the first floor of indian/pakistani cooking is horrible, but it doeen't permeate the whole hotel. Apparently the owners live on the bottom floor in a suite behind the front desk. Staff was not rude, but not particularly friendly either. Coke can under the bed and chewing gum stuck to the wall, probably just overlooked by housekeeping. Bed […] was comfortable, room a good size. It's quite far out of Houston, but that's why the price is cheap. It's good for one night. Longer than that you should look elsewhere. "Average stay for the money"
Was a good stay for the price....I don't like when hotels use unfitted flat sheets instead of fitted sheets on the beds....they just don't stay on at night....hotel was clean, AC worked well in the heat.....continental breakfast was average at best...but for the price, it was worth the trip.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was fine. I stayed there because I could not find a room in west Houston. The drive was longer than I prefer, but overall my stay was all right.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was really easy to access. The staff willingly acceded to ou request for a ground-floor room, and the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I don't know if it was a slow weekend, but we were never aware of traffic in the hall, or of our 'neighbors' in the adjoining room. The breakfast bar was skimpy, but the nightly […] rate was great. The food was fresh, and the milk and juice were cold, the coffee hot and fresh. Since we were in town for a family event, we didn't spend much time in our room; but what time we did spend was pleasant, and the bed was really good. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel was super conveniently located - made it easy to get back on the highway, and make it into Houston without dealing with Houston traffic. Very clean, and plenty comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
let's see: roaches, noisy, smelly lobby, smokers on the non-smoking floor (and management did not care). Unreasonable when I needed to modify my reservation and blamed it on hotels.com who bent over backwards trying to help me. Avoid this place!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Horrible Hotel / Motel"
The service here was rude at best. The rooms were rarely cleaned, even though they say they clean them every day. The manager was beyond rude in his attiude, and the clerks are highly incompetent, in that they need a teenaged girl to access the account, and even afterward my creditcard charges will need to be gone over, because the woman put my stay […] on someone elses credit card. This was, hands down, my worst stay ever. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Get your act together"
Whatever the keepers were cooking for dinner, the odor permeated the entire first floor, wasn't pleasant. The hotel advertises WiFi in every room. There wasn't any. We even tried their business center, no internet access. The coffee pot in the room did not work. After spending the last five months in south america I had, maybe unrealistically, assumed […] that the people running the hotel would at least speak intelligible english. It was not the case. I BOOKED A NON SMOKING ROOM BUT BECAUSE OF ALL THE SMOKING ROOMS AROUND ME THE SMELL WAS SO BAD I PUT A TOWEL AT THE BOTTOM OF THE DOOR TO KEEP THE SMELL OUT... I WON'T BE STAYING HERE AGAIN THE STAFF AT THE FRONT DESK WAS VERY NICE BUT VERY TIRED AS SHE WORKS FROM 7AM TO 11PM 7 DAYS A WEEK THEY NEED MORE STAFF EVEN THE OWNERS COME LATER IN THE DAY […] TO CLEAN THE ROOMS. THE POOL WAS GREEN AND BREAKFAST IT WAS SORRY. NOT GOING BACK Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"close to training facility"
Room was comfortable and spacious. However I'm guessing they used a large vacuum to clean, as there was an inch of grime that framed the carpet next to the skirting board (the vacuum being too big to get next to the wall). Also in the middle of my stay the hotel changed from providing free wifi to putting a lock on it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"The smell was horrific"
Used it as a rest stop for a night. Came in at 2 am, left at 8 am. The smell in the lobby was so bad we barely made it through to the room. The smell even carried down the hall and in to the room! It was hard to breath. Room's ok for cleanliness but up keep was horrid. In need of repairs every where! I would not use this place again, even for a quick […] sleep. Super 8 in Sealy much better! We should have driven back to it instead of trying to make this one work. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

The facility was clean, room was decent..there was an old sandwich in the microwave and the sheets weren't pulled tight. Beds comfortable. My main peeve was no fruit or butter with continental breakfast..waffle and cereal. Proprietor very nice.

I have stayed here several times. The proprietors are very concerned with your stay and helpful and friendly.
"Comfy Beds; nice for a one night stay"
06/10/14 Stephanie B Bellevue, United States
The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and desk clerks courteous. I thought the continental breakfast selection was very limited when compared to other hotels of the same quality. This Super 8 met our short-term travel needs but it wouldn't be my 1st pick for longer than a one night stay.
"Super 8 Brookshire"
06/02/14 Diane P Boston, Massachusetts
Excellent value for the money. Safe, very clean, quiet, nice rooms, comfortable beds, good water pressure, very friendly staff (Syeda at front desk is extremely kind and pleasant and remembers everyones name). Recent renovations to the lobby and new flat screen tv's in every room show a continued commitment by the owner to the hotel. Easily the best value in the Houston area.

I would recommend this super 8. I was in Brookshire,Tx for training for 4 days. My room was clean and quiet. There are some fast food places across the street or you could drive to Katy 5 min away for restaurants. No problems with parking, plenty of space. The only issue was wifi was slow and sometimes I couldn't connect.
"A bit overpriced"
04/17/14 Roadwarrior V Kansas City, Missouri
Room was bright enough, spacious, well appointed and clean. Bathroom was also bright enough, spacious, well appointed and clean - though shower valve was mechanically faulty, which made it difficult to operate. Staff were friendly. WIFI was finicky, difficult to connect to and when finally connected, it then disconnected frequently. Hallway carpet was badly wrinkled and in need of replacement, which could actually present a tripping hazard. The breakfast bar was satisfactory, but not being very well tended too - in the 30 minutes I was there several items that needed restocking had been neglected as had the one trash can in the area which was full to over flowing, leaving guests with no where to dispose of their rubbish from the meal. The outdoor pool was very nice and appeared very clean and well maintained. My biggest complaint was value. I am a road-warrior business traveler and have a good sense of what to expect at a given price in a given market. While Texas hotels/motels due tend to run a very slight bit more than their average peers in the central-time-zone, this one only offered two options for booking through Wyndham - senior rate or rack rate. Not being a senior, I was forced to choose the rack rate, and that is, in my opinion, ridiculous. At a bare minimum you should work with Wyndham (and any other frequent traveler point orgs you might book through) to offer at least a AAA discount - something, anything, to offer a more competitive rate to frequent/business travelers.

Very adequate hotel for what I needed.....a good night's sleep. Clean, quiet, & value priced. I would stay there again.

04/05/14 Alice S Brookshire
Although inexpensive, quiet and newly painted the hallways smelled of old sweat. Our room had a very large old water bubble burst in the ceiling. the shower curtain was positively nasty. The only hot item for breakfast was the waffle maker, no decaf coffee. Fortunately, the sheets appeared to be clean. It goes without saying, you get what you pay for.

I found nothing but cleanliness and curtesy durning my visit. Nice little breakfast served, also. I was in the area for a concert I was part of with Singing Women of South Texas as we sang at Brookwood Community as part of a benefit for that wonderful organization. I shared the room with fellow singers and we all felt it was very comfortable, and clean.
