We had stayed in the same hotel around 6 years ago just after it had been completely renovated. It was clear that the room needed a little more attention including clearing cobwebs from the ceiling. Overall, quite disappointing. I had read others reviews regarding the condition of the carpet, however thought this would be an exaggeration. I wish it had of been, as I couldn't believe the state they had let it deteriorate to. We had to wear shoes inside the room as the carpet was filthy and a 3rd guest stayed the night with us ... A cockroach. The […] room said it was a kitchenette, however there was no sink to wash dishes in and given the location is quite isolated, it would have been great if there was a mini bar. Room was quite nice, newly refurbished. Staff seemed a little frazzled. Pool was nice a clean Bly thing that was disappointing was the restaurant only had a limited menu and was pretty pricey. Not a lot of other options though to eat at though in Gerringong.

I only stayed over one night but it was a pleasant stay. The room was facing a garden wall which wasn't a great view but I didn't worry as I wasn't there for the view.
