The service representative is very rude at the checkin. After I went to my room, he came out and called his cell phone to outside by disclosing where about I am going. I just went to Denny's Restaurant and there is one person waiting for me by looking at my car license plate. Where is my privacy? After the dinner, there is a person waiting at the pickup truck waiting for me to return to hotel. Again, where is my privacy? Your staff is needed to be train harder abouth the privacy. The room does not have shamboo or cup to use.

I stayed here for Comic Con '09, and thought I was getting a pretty good deal, all things considered. The room was clean enough and comfortable enough, the kitchen was more than adequate for my purposes, staff were very friendly, and the building was in good shape. Word of warning, however: this is no place to stay if you don't have a car. The closest trolley stop is about a fifteen minute walk away, but there aren't a lot of sidewalks, and the shoulders can be narrow. If you don't have a car, be prepared for either taxi fares, a long wait for the bus, or a very adventurous hike. The hotel itself is good; the location, not so much, unless you're renting a car or driving your own.

you have a car and know your way around.(the lobby is not 24hrs so be sure to get a map and directions in advance) It is very close to 2 major freeways and only a few minutes from the beaches and dtwn. It's cheap so you get what you pay for.

The only issue we had at this hotel, was that we had booked a non smoking room and apparently they didn't have one available. They gave us a voucher for a free nights stay another time, which was nice, but I would rather have had a non smoking room. Other than that, It was a very convenient location. It was nice to have the full kitchen even though we didn't cook. We did use the fridge and microwave though.

We were scheduled to stay at the Extended Stay, but once we arrived to the office. We were informed that the utility company would be working in the area, and the power to Extended Stay would be turned off from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. We were given the option to stay there or go to their sister hotel (Homestead) which was not far away. We decided to stay @ Homestead and the stay was very pleasant. I would like to thank Shane, who was the assistant that help us @ Extended Say America-San Diego. Keep doing a job well done Shane.

I was satisfied with the cost of my 7 night stay but was shocked when I got there. I requested another room because the first was dirty (bathroom door was nasty), coffee pot was disgusting) and room was smelly. OK, I had a smoking room but, I always in the past entered a very clean and pleasant scent room when I first arrive at other Extended Stay. 2 Extended Stay in RI, 1 in VA, 1 in Oakland- CA for around 10 months stay. Second room I just settled because I was tired and same story about coffee pot. The bed is very firm and noticed the next day how nasty looking the mattress was with stains. I can go on about this property but you get the picture :(

The hotel looks like an expensive hotel from the outside! I was amazed. The room is a kitchenette. So if you are going to stay there for a long time then it would be nice. The beds are not that comfortable. And do not sleep on the bottom floor. Just noisy. But I would totally go again, but I will ask to be on the 2nd floor!

I had a reservation for a non-smoking room because of Asthma. The hotel didn't have any non-smoking rooms available and said it was okay if I left. The hallways were filthy with stained carpets and garbage everywhere. It looks like the hallway hadn't been vacuumed in more than a month. The bedspread was stained and there was toothpaste on the bathroom wall. I stayed at this location when it was less than a year old and was very satisfied. I will never stay there again.

the hotel would be nice for a long stay because of the kitchen but to stay for one night i would pick a different hotel. the beds were cheap there was no hair dryer in the room. they gave you ice in ice trays that looked pretty old and they did not offer an ice machine. bring own shampoo and conditioner they do not have little sample bottles in rooms. the stay was okay but not the best i would not recommend it to a friend unless they really needed a kitchen.
