We stayed here for a night prior to a cruise. It was a convenient location to the cruise terminal and local shops to buy liquor for our trip. As for the hotel itself, the room smelled funny but the sheets and bed were decent and the room was very clean. the hotel was closed to airport and cruise ports about no more than 5 miles we stayed at the hotel before our cruise and after. the best thing about the room was it had a kitchenette all equpt. room was not fancy but very comfortable.It also had free Wi-Fi. will stay next time we go to ft Lauderdale.

It was definitely not worth the money. The bathroom was missing caulk and there were large stains on the counter tops. The towels were extremely rough and the room was very musty. Would not stay there again.

Good location, hospitable staff and clean room. However the bathroom needs serious plumbing. Hot water did not come on and the water pressure was weak when it came on. Plus the flush ran continuously and needs to be repaired.

Clean and adequate - we were staying there the night before we were going on a cruise. Just wish they had told us that shuttle reservations needed to be made in advance along with our room reservation as there were no shuttle departure times left on our arrival the night before. We had to make other arrangements for transportation to the dock.

My husband and I stayed here for one night before a cruise, and even after calling the hotel directly 3 months prior to reserve shuttle seats at specific times from the airport and to the cruiseport the next day, there was nothing recorded, (and even if they took reservations, there is no room in the shuttle for more than 1-2 small families, so they […] have limited reservations anyway)and we could not be accommodated either way--how awful--especially when planned out and pre-reserved. So, we paid $40 out of pocket for their advertised "Free Shuttle Service" by taking cabs because of no other option. The room was dingy and dated. I called the hotel desk several times before I got to the hotel on several days trying to verifu the shuttle to the airport. When I checked into the hotel and asked what time the shuttle would be there they told me repeatedly that the driver reported to duty and 8 am and that I could get to the airport by my check in time at 8:30. Well, I get down to […] ck out and the shuttle was already at the cruise port and that it wouldn't be back until after awhile. So I had to go running down to the main street and hail a taxi cab and got to the airport for an international flight. Well, had it not been for the bag checker that took my bags into the ck in counter and ck in and then escorted me through customs would I have made it on my flight. Therefore, the employees at the desk are very incompetent. I stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to the airport and that it was the only one availahle on my date...never again, I will change my flights. Read more

Elevators were slow. No bathrooms in lobby..had to use employees bathroom in back of front desk area. Shuttle service to cruise port but no pick up after cruise. Thought parking for week was free but was charged $10 daily. No breakfast area..just quick items to grab and go.

The best things I loved about my stay at this hotel was the exceptional service provided by the staff from the moment I arrived at the Airport to my departure to NYC the next day. The shuttle driver was great (who picked me up at the airport at about 1pm), friendly and provided all the information I needed for my stay. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was […] greeted by Ms T a h e l i a (the receptionist) with a big smile and she made the whole experience of checking in memorable. She was there to help me not only with my queries, but even guiding me on how to use the laundry machine. I must commend here for her excellent customer service. The more of such staff recruited, the better the experience of the patrons would be. She was extremely professional, courteous, warm and kept her smile all the time. Must say the best customer service experience in that I have had in the US thus far for this stay. The receptionist in the evening shift was a great help as well, staying past her shift hours to assist. The complimentary shuttle service to the airport in the morning by the receptionist & driver was very much pleasant. As for the rooms, I loved it in exception of the freezer (which creaked the whole night) and the carpet on the walkway which seriously needs refurbishment. One more thing, make sure you visit the Harbor Cafe right at the back of the hotel. They said on the site that they provided shuttle to and from the airport. When I got to the airport I was told that I had to call in advance to arrange the pick up. Also, the next morning they were using the shuttle from 9 to 2 to shuttle guest to the cruise terminal only, not where I needed to go. I had to get a cab both ways. When opening the room […] door I found that my room was already occupied. I'm glad I didn't walk in while "special activities" were going on.
