"Surprising Find"

From the moment we walked into the lobby, we were thrilled! The lobby and breakfast area were large, open, light, and home-y. Our room was even better - great layout, clean, great kitchen (with a full-sized fridge!), and beautiful furniture/colors/design. We loved the pool and workout room, the basketball/recreation court out front, and the patio with grill out back. Breakfast was yummy (though it could have used more fresh, un-cut fruit). The hotel is completely smoke-free, which made a huge difference in our experience there. The proximity to shopping, beaches, and the newly-revived downtown of Asbury Park was perfect. Our one main suggestion for improvement: PLEASE decrease the amount of chlorine in the pool! (Our bathing suits completely changed color, as did my daughter's hair!) Overall, this hotel is a gem - a surprising find in the midst of a strip-mall part of NJ.

Extremely clean and comfortable. Easy access to Garden State Pkwy, Rts. 33,66, and 35. Quick access to Ocean Grove and Asbury.
