Cost is high. But the facilities are not upto the level they have been charged. Hotel even not provided any break fast. The good thing about the hotel is the "staff response". Otherwise not worty for the money we spend.

It was hot. The air conditioner was right next to the bed so couldn't leave it on for long. Couldn't let in fresh air. No screens on windows so bugs flew in. Miserable. The bed was comfortable, but the bedspread appeared to be decades old and was ripped and thread bare. The carpeting, also decades old, had cigarette burns and was stained dark from foot travel. Really gross. The location was perfect for my needs. New carpeting and paint would help.....

Great stay, did everything I need to while staying there. The carpet should definitely be cleaned!!!! Our bathroom was newly remodeled which was nice, the bed was comfortable and we had an awesome view of downtown LA.

This hotel was busy when we got there but we checked in very quickly. The staff was friendly. The room was clean & I was surprised by how quiet it was. Old carpet. No in room coffee maker :-(

Furniture is a bit older and the amenities are simple, but the room was comfortable, the service was friendly, and the property looks clean and well cared for. The flat, limp pillows were due for replacement though.

The front desk clerks are very nice. The hotel very clean old fashioned though needs some redecorating. The room I was given #203 was pretty much clean but needs upgrades and seriously needs a carpet cleaning. The carpet was really bad total opposite to the rest of the room.

Room small and old looking & smelling no clock, had to get a remote from front desk, old tube TV, walls need to be fixed and painted, rugs need to be replaced, Air Conditioner was over door and you had to stand on a old chair to change settings. But the people that worked there were nice.

Staff is nice, especially Victor, but wish you could talk to them without yelling through ghetto security glass. Location makes it an easy hike to Beverly Hills or downtown L.A. Good bed. Tight parking spaces difficult when hotel is full.

Booked the room online, the pictures looked desent. Parking was a nightmare! The guy who checked us in was very nice. We got into the room and IT WAS DISGUSTING! Looked no where near as clean as the pictures online! The carpets were so dirty I refused to take my shoes off. I realize it's an old place but OMG, carpet cleaning!!!! We ended up leaving 5 hours after we got there! TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

It was horrible. I was supposed to stay two days, however, becuase of the condition of the hotel, I checked out after the first day. The carpet looked horrible and smelled horrible. We arrived at the hotel around 8p.m. and asked for extra blanket and we were told that there is no maid service. In my opionion the place is really not a hotel, it is an old apartment.

i like the location. its about 4 1/2 miles east of Beverly hills and a little east of la brea tar pits. i found the employees to be cool and got along well with some .i cant say good things about the rooms I stayed inn . there comes a time in a motels life when the wrecking ball is needed . the third floor squeaks loud when walking in the rooms. so if youre on the second floor you get to hear the people on the floor above you walking . it got so bad i had to move to the third floor. the rugs are gross. really dirty and had to wear my sandals all the time . over . the rooms are over priced and payed more then i should of. i guess they charge so much because of the location. i recommend this place because the very good staff and location. no microwave in the room but they have 2 by the pool and have refrigarators in the rooms.

Overall a satisfactory experience. It's comfortable but rather outdated. If you're looking for a place that takes you back to the 70's then it's for you! My room had a great kitchenette with stove, microwave and fridge. The bed was comfortable. I had to unplug the phone as it kept making a ticking noise. The staff was very friendly. The parking spaces are tiny but free :-) I enjoyed my 2 nights there. There is even a Trader Joes just down the street :-)

Room smelled like smoke/hooka. Carpet was stained and windows had window units..bad sign for a hotel. TV had no channels but Korean channels. Hotel staff was rude. Double charged my card even though I told them I paid on Expedia. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The room condition was bearable, but with the noise from late night partiers, smoke drifting down the hallway from people smoking near the pool, and the slow, paper-based check-in/check-out service, the experience was pretty terrible. We had originally booked the hotel room to avoid inconveniencing my parents with too many overnight guests, but decided to sleep on the floor in their living room rather than spend both nights at the hotel.

The place was good no problems at all but the front desk service is not the best in 4 days i saw like 6 different people and u have to explain everyone of them something already explained to the others. There was an asiatic guy with not a very good attitude and service i think if he is the owner or worker needs to improve, the other guys seems to be improving and learning. The place is clean the price is good, rooms are good size

This is a cool old hotel definitely in need of a renovation. Front desk was always helpful and pool was clean and warm. Rooms are basic but clean. Location is central but not too much nearby. Only thing I would change is tv programming.

The hotel was good enough bed was comfortable, the only thing I didnt like was they charged my card 105 for misc expenses without telling me before that would have been nice to let me know they where blocking that much money in my account.

This place was dirty smelly and LOUD The carpet had weird stains that fallowed by some truly weird smell. It took me nearly 35 mins to check in I way over paid for this room . The ac smelled like urine. No coffee at all not in the room nor the hotel. TV`s are super old I will not come again .

Room very outdated carpet had burn marks from iron no maid service the first day. Pool shut down next day office said up in couple of hours. Next morning they were filling it. Office staff not friendly . No blow dryer in room had to go to office for iron and hair dryer.

Although the staff is friendly the hotel overall is par for the course. Location: Although on Wilshire Blvd it is not in walking distance of any restaurants or shops. Room: the room I stayed in was outdated 80s decor. Very drab & dark. They provide a dorm fridge but if you need to use a microwave or want coffee they both are located outside the main office beside a soda machine. If I did not have a last minute fopaux I would not have stayed here. I guess you get what you pay for.

The hotel is further away than expected. Bathrooms are remodeled but the rooms are sub par... Pieced together. The pool was completely empty and looked... potentially under construction but no one was working on it while we were there. I'd spend just a bit more next time for something closer to where I wanted to be and nicer!

The hotel smelled like smoke as soon as you entered as well as had ash trays every few doors. Being allergic to smoke and the hotel being labeled as a smoke free hotel, was very disappointing. The walls were no longer white and needed to be repainted. We were given 3 towels and when we asked for another one room attendants as there was 4 of us, we were told that they were only allowed to give 3 towels and needed to ask the front desk.

The hotel is if you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay. I was very disappointed that the pool was closed for repair. The hotel said they notified Expedia. Expedia didn't share this info on their listing for this hotel. The carpet in my room was terribly dirty.

Looks decent outside. Rooms need revamping. Pool being replastered without warning: sawing and hammering commenced at 630 AM. Staff avoided asking question, "How was your stay" for obvious reason. Door still uses key and have to check your tv remote in and out. Carpet is.....rust colored shag.

The pictures shown on the web vs the real thing is hilarious! The room was disgusting and dirty and really old and broken down, the pool was "under construction" it was one of the worst hotels I have ever seen!! The check in counter had a 3" thick bullet proof glass in between the Receptionist and the guest!!! Horrible Hotel.... enter at your own risk!
