This hotel is perfectly situated off Las Ramblas and Placa Catalunya. The staff is extremely friendly and were able to help with several recommendations. I would recommend that you bring towels and pillows with you, as theirs are somewhat undersized and not too comfy. Other than that, the room was adequately sized (for Europe), the bathroom was amazing, and the hotel was nice and quiet, despite their close proximity to the heart of the city. They even have a free ice machine on the ground floor. I have already recommended this hotel to a colleague and would definitely stay here agian. Make sure to have the churros at the cafe next door!

We stayed on the top floor, and the room was nice, spacious, clean, and elegant. However, I kept waking up throughout the night because the elevator motors would make a loud noise when people used the elevator. It wasn't a huge problem during the week when less people were using the elevator at night, but it constantly woke me up over the weekend, when people were up all hours of the night. So be warned...

Great hotel with excellent receptionist. Unfortunately whist in Barcelona we were robbed and the experience at the police station following this was a real eye opener with many other victims of theft queing to be dealt with advise anyone travelling to Barcelona to be extra careful.

Hotellet er ikke så fancy som det umiddelbart præsenteres. Når det er sagt er det et billigt hotel - og det er klart pengene værd! Behagelig (feltseng), udmærket badeværelse og fin service. Personalet taler godt engelsk, hvilket ikke er en selvfølge selv i Barcelona. Desværre skal man betale for Wi-Fi.

Hotel war sauber, Zimmer waren ok, es lagen paar kurze Haare im Bett u die Bettwäsche hatte paar Flecken, Dusche waren leicht verkalkt, kleiner Flachbildfernseher mit spanischen Sendern,MTV und CNN. Zimmer hellhörig aber war nicht so schlimm. Frühstück war ok, es gab nur Toast/kein Brot/brötchen, Obst, drei verschiedene Wurstarten, käse, cornflakes, […] joghurt... Lage perfekt Busstation war ca. 50m entfernt, ansonsten der Bustouristenbus war ca. 10 Gehminuten entfernt. Strand ist nur 200m entfernt, Restaurants an jeder Ecke und mehrere hintereinander. Kaffee trinken direkt am Strand und auch ein Spar um die Ecke. Personal an der Rezeption war nett und konnte alle Fragen beantworten oder war bemüht zu helfen (auf Englisch) im 5.Stock gibt es Sitzgelegenheit und einen schönen Ausblick zum Hafen. Also wer nicht große Ansprüche hat und ein Luxushotel erwartet, ist hier genau richtig. Für uns war es ok, da wir NICHT den Tag im Zimmer verbracht haben. Read more

Das Zimmer hat einen kleinen Balkon zum Jachthafen - traumhaft und war für ein Stadthotel richtig ruhig. Es gab sehr viele Fernsehprogramme in Katalanisch und Kastellanisch, aber einen deutschen Sender mit Nachrichten hat mir gefehlt. Der Kindersender war spanisch und da meine Tochter dies als Fremdsprache hat, war sie zufrieden. Der absolute Hammer […] ist aber die Dachterasse!!! Da kann man den Sonnenuntergang genießen mit Aussicht auf den Hafen und die beleuctete Stadt. Die Bushaltestelle war geanu vor dem Hotel und viele Linien führen in 7-10 Minuten-Takt in verschiedenen Richtungen. Mit der Barcelona-Card waren wir schnell dort wo wir hinwollten und selbst abends hatten wir noch ausreichend Verbindungen. Das Taxi vom/zum Flughafen ist übrigens erschwinglich, da das Hotel mit mit einer Schnellstraße gut zu erreichen ist. Barceloneta bietet viele Möglichkeiten abends etwas Essen zu gehen, aber es lohnt sich genauer hinzu schauen - es gibt auch die üblichen Touristenfallen, wo das Preis/Leistungsverhälnis nicht stimmt. Als Frau hatte ich erst Bedenken in dieses Viertel zu gehen, aber das hat sich als unbegründet herausgestellt. Es ist eine schönes Mischung aus Alt und Jung bzw. Einheimischen und Touristen.
