Had an issue with extra bed but hotel staff very helpful and resolved quickly. Room being remodeled and had to go to another but once again, staff VERY apologetic and helpful and resolved issue. I would definitely return.

minimum cost of taxi ride is 15 euro, so that's the cost to get to the hotel. minimum kind of breakfast cost US$20 per person. So when they say that children eat free, it's actually way too expensive at US$40 for 2 adults.

The hotel is very convenient to the airport if you have a car. If not a shuttle is available (check to see if they charge). The only downside is the resturant does not have very many choices and there are no other restaurants within walking distance.

We were really happy at the hotel, traveling with kids and dog is always difficult but Novotel at Girona is really very friendly, clean, staff extremely helpful, patient despite my pitiful Spanish (all of them speak English over there) nice swimming pool, place to walk our dog (charming lady at the reception gave us even a toy and treat for our golden […] retriever!) We will definitely stay there again (actually in two weeks time, btw) recommended for everyone, particularly families with kids and dogs. Well done Novotel Girona! Read more

My family and I had enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The size of the pool was great and the rooms were very comfortable and spacious. My only criticism is the cost of the food to eat in the hotel's restaurant. It was very pricey and not very practical for families, both breakfast and dinner. We were disappointed on one occasion when we wanted an afternoon […] snack and were charged Euro 7.20 each which consisted of a handful of crisps, two slices of toasted bread with a slice of cheese and a few lettuce leaves. The total bill amounted to euro 28.80 which was highway robbery. We found another hotel within walking distance that offered a buffet and ate there. I will say something very positive about this hotel, although they weren't very fluent in English, the bar and restaurant staff were very friendly and never said no to warming up my young child's food in their microwave. Food is very expensive, €7.20 for two slices of bread with one slice of ham and one slice of cheese, some potato chips and few veggies, Over €13 for breakfast, and you have no choice as there is no where else to buy food, unless you walk far away to another hotel that had a great buffet for €18. Superbly situated near Girona airport but away from noisy traffic. The entrance is on a roundabout just after going under the AP-7 Autopista that can be easily missed so be careful or you'll end up entering the AP-7 toll booth area. We arrived after a late flight and picking up a hire car. You can phone the hotel to request a shuttle which you meet […] at the bus station (front of but on airport road). We used the same hotel on our return journey, staff giving us an early call and shuttle to the airport. This is a typical Novotel with large room and outside pool. It has a good car park and evening security barrier. We had two peaceful night's sleep when it was very warm outside. The air conditioning can be easily adjusted in room and it worked well. The Hotel looks impressive but we arrived late afternoon and there was no hot water, after a 7 hour drive we really needed a shower and all the staff would say was it should be hot later. we went to bed at 10pm and water only luke warm. I stayed at the hotel for one night only because my plane was leaving early. The service at the hotel was excellent. Before staying at the hotel I read that the staff was not supposed to be service minded. But they definitely were. My main complaint is the food served at their restaurant. The food was really terrible. I had a sandwich and also a dinner […] consisting of grilled entrecote and potatoes. Both were of low quality and did not taste very good. Also the light in the mini bar was flashing (I guess the light bulp needed replacement) which was a bit annoying but I put some pillows in front of the mini bar so I was not very much bothered by it during the night. Ett mycket enkelt övernattningshotell. Stor nackdel med Hotellets läge eftersom det ligger nära men ändå långt borta. Vi tänkte först ta en taxi till Hotellet, som ligger 2,5 km bort, men det kostade 15 EUR eftersom de har minipris. De flesta gick då till Hotellet i bäckmörker vilket kanske inte är det bästa.

Schönes und saubers Hotel mit freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber gehalten. Einzige Minuspunkt ist die Umgebung. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Autobahn , im Zimmer bekommt mann nichts mit aber am Pool hört mann die Autobahn schon. Insgesamt ein gutes Hotel

Good to know if you take a taxi from airport late at night. I arrived close to midnight and the fare was15 euro for 3 minutes driving ! I thought that this was kind of a ripp off but the reception gave me the money back when I gave them the receipt. Can't remember that I saw this important information when reading about the hotel . Vi brugte hotellet til overnatning inden vi skulle flyve hjem tidligt om morgenen, der er cirka 2 km til lufthavnen og hotellet sørgede for gratis transfers til Girona Airport. Rigtig pænt hotel, som nemt kunne bruges til formålet. Goed gelegen hotel als tussen stop naar ons verblijf aan de "Costa Blanca" Het zwembad is lekker om je op te frissen, maar voor de kwaliteit van het water moet je op letten, ik kreeg oorontsteking een paar uur na het zwemmen. Personeel is erg vriendelijk. De binnen stad van Girona is ook de moeite waard om te bezoeken.
