"Classic elegence botique hotel"

Close to the center of town yet quiet because it's in the pedestrian mall area. Short walk to everything including 24 hour garage (1 block) and casino (5 minutes). Beautiful old hotel that has recently been renovated to a very high standard. New bathrooms. Crystal chandliers in guestrooms. Outdoor courtyard. Complimentary breakfast included nice breads, eggs cooked to order (on request,)and freshly made health drink from a juicer all served on linen tablecloths. Free wireless internet worked perfectly. A lovely comfortable enviornment.

Stayed just 2 nights in this lovely hotel but would like to have stayed longer. Excellent central location. Great facilities and very friendly and efficient staff. Food excellent. Room really good. Onesmall criticism - the bathroom needed a bigger shelf for our toiletries - we made do with the window sill Overall rating - excellent

Flew into Frankfurt am Main, rented a car, drove down to Baden-Baden in a few hours. A perfect way to start this trip. We chose this hotel based on info from this website, which was accurate and helpful. Beautiful hotel, perfect location. It's not in Rick Steves' books b/c it's a cut above his usual level. Well-to-do Germans and flashy Russians stay here. Superior breakfast included. Parking is a 7 minute walk away in the municipal lot.

"Le charme de Baden concentré dans un hotel"

Une fois trouvé cet hotel de centre ville, nous entrons dans une bulle à la fois romantique, charmante et... désuette!!! Tout comme la ville, l'hotel n'est pas avare de stucs et de dorures! Le hall est rutilant, tout comme la salle de restaurant: corniches, moulures, colonnes, dorures, moquette rouge, lustres à pampilles.... La chambre que nous recevons se situe au dernier étage, sous les toits. Nous avons alors la charpente au pied du lit, des fenêtres et des vélux. (Pas trop chaud car la clim fonctionne bien et sans bruit) Ambiance hétéroclite: style campagne avec parquet façon chêne ancien, meubles anglais, lampes avec abat-jours crèmes, appliques et lustre à pampilles. Grande salle de bains avec vélux, une seule vasque, c'est récent, propre et sobre. Petit déjeuner sur la terrasse au soleil, un vrai plaisir simple et gourmand (pour amateur de charcuterie) Bonne adresse pour qui recherche du calme!
