"Great place, nice amenities"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
The hotel appears as if it was recently renovated. Modern, clean rooms and facilities. Nice extras like free coffee, cappucino, espresso 24 hrs/day, adequate free breakfast, small pleasant lounge, free computer, pleasant staff. Near everything. Parking limited - request when you book. .
"April in....Quebec"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 27, 2012
Great little boutique hotel in the heart of old Quebec, across a small park from the Frontenac and a block from stairway to Quartier Petit-Champlain. Rooms on the small side but cozy, incorporating them into the limits of a very old building. Very clean in-room and out. Very helpful, friendly staff to Americans with French that doesn't go much beyond "bonjour." Outstanding breakfast--waffles with maple cream sauve are a must. Daily parking was reasonable and only one block away.
"restaurant nothing special"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 23, 2012
although the hotel per se was fine, the location wa quite a distance from the old city, and the restuarant left something to be desired. Having never in my life sent anything back, I actually did send back a salad with ingredients other than what was specified in the menu. the seoncd one was not much better, but I did not send it back a second time. service was barely acceptable.

"give this place a try!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 21, 2012
we totally enjoyed our stay at hotel l'aristocrat. the place was packed and still was very quiet. the house staff were quiet as mice. it's location is just far enough away from the main tourist sites but still close enough. aquarium is just down the road. excellent restaurant is within walking distance. the desk staff speaks better english than i do and i'm from the states! very nice people. i would definitely stay there again. the price was right also.

"I got two words “Stay There.”"
I stayed here for eleven days in late February for the PeeWee Hockey Tournament. The Auberge du Littoral is 3.5 miles from the Colisée Pepsi. This is the first feedback I have ever written on a hotel. I got two words “Stay There.” It was a great value in comparison to other hotels I looked into. My room was large, modern, and very clean. Parking was […] free and close to your door, unlike hotels down town. Staff all spoke English and were incredibly helpful in providing information on the area. Several American fast food restaurants were close by, as were local French ones. Get your Poutein at Ashtons about a half a mile. Great stay. Read more
"You pay what you paid for"
It is a cheap apartment complex and i'm rating it based on the stars... We don't really expect that much but you got what you have paid for...We always stayed at 4-5 star hotel and it is our first time to try and were really impressed for the cheap price you can't beat. If you are staying and most of your day is outside stay here and you wont be dissapointed […] it is very clean too... I recommend it to everyone who are looking for a cheap accomodation around this area Read more
"Happy Stay"
We spent three nights at the hotel and very hap[py about our choice. Location wise, it took only short drive to old Montreal and attractions in the vincinity. We wanted to see more than just the Old Montreal so this hotel is our favourite because we can drive to Ste Ann Basillica, Montorency Fall, and Orleans Island very conveniently. The hotel staff […] is courteous and accomodated. Our room has everything we need from free internet access, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, real goblets and wine glasses, and real coffee mugs. The room is roomy and comfortable. This is definitely a good buy so we will choose this hotel again on our next trip to Quebec City. Read more
"Auberge du Littora Quebec"
This is a hotel and motel. We stayed in the motel, which is a basic mid-to-lower range motel. The hotel has massage and various other services. The staff was super helpful, especially for a non-French speaking guest. Good breakfast restaurant just down the street a little ways.
"Auberge du Littoral, Beauport, PQ"
The hotel was conveniently located to get easily in/out of Quebec City. The staff is friendly and helpful. The masseuse on site is a bonus.

"Littoral-not in the city!"
Well, if you had visions of skipping along a scenic Quebec, then this hotel/motel is not for you. It is right by tracks and highway and is an hour walk to the city per the front desk. Though you can take a taxi or drive for a pretty reasonable fare (10 bucks each way), being so far outside the city defeats the purpose of staying there. The hotel lobby […] is quaint and neatly maintained and the little cafe seems sweet. Internet was readily available, and as long as you had a car and were able and willing to fight city traffiic, then you were good. I would not recommend this to anyone wanting to experience the feel of the city of Quebec. Read more
"Auberge du Littoral, Quebec City, Canada"
The main building ofbthe hotel seems quaint but we did not stay in any of the rooms in the main building so I can't comment on the rooms. Our room was in the adjoining building that was like a typical old motel with outside corridors. It's quite old and in desparate need of renovation. The room was clean and spacious but the bathroom was tiny and the […] room smelled of smoke. The front desk staff was quite friendly and helpful and the location was excellent to the old town area. Although the Google maps location was off by several blocks. Call the hotel when you come off the highway for directions. Read more
"auberge du littoral, quebec city"
The outstanding feature of the hotel is the extremely pleasant and anxious to please front desk staff. The accommodations are satisfactory and very clean. Principal drawback is the unavailability of public transit along Blvd Ste Anne to take you directly downtown to the Chateau area. Parking in the old city is impossible or super expensive, so it'd […] be nice to be able to leave the car at the motel and take a fast bus downtown. Read more
"Adorable and Accommodating!"
Admittedly, I didn't have high hopes for the Auberge du Littoral...I now realize that I was foolishly dubious. Whenever I picture a motel, I immediately associate it to cheap and scummy. While some do fit this bill, I can assure you that this particular hidden gem does not. The rooms were immaculately clean, and were re-freshened to this state every […] morning. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful! Every single person there spoke at least a little English, which was a pleasant surprise. They were able to help us with everything from mapping sight-seeing spots to helping us order dinner in French! The entrance hall and rooms themselves are quaint, but then again, so is Quebec City. We (my three friends and I) had two rooms between us. While our room was fine, their room seemed far more spacious and better-decorated. It wasn't until the last day that we realized why. While the rooms were identical in size and amenities, our ceiling was painted an elegant (yet, dull) grey and our bathroom was a dark shade of yellow. This made the room feel much smaller then it actually was. Aside from that, it was well worth the price! No bed bugs, no creepy characters roaming about, and a cozy homey feel that made us consider staying an extra night or two. I had a wonderful time at the Auberge du Littoral, and I plan to stay there again on my next visit to Quebec City! Read more
"Auberge du Littoral - Great Place to Stay"
The location of this hotel for the price is perfect. It is right off of the highway only a few minutes outside of Quebec City on the way to Montmorency Falls. The staff was incredibly helpful and the room was charming. We would definitely stay there again.
"Auberge du Littoral, Quebec"
This hotel is a bit dated but very clean. Our room was very large but the bathroom was small. It did not include breakfast and had no elevator. It was a little tough getting our 40 pound suitcases up stairs but the hotel location, made up for any shortcomings (provided you have a car). Old Quebec City is wonderful and very easy to see by walking. The […] rate was very reasonable. Read more
"Too noisy"
Hotel is too noisy for me. Noise on the road and upstair wakw me up in the middle of the night for 3 nights in a row! Won't be back. If you're a light sleeper, don't stay here

"Ask for room in new section"
This motel/hotel has two sections - old and new. The photos depict the new section only. The sofabed in our room was not as padded as usual hotel fold-outs and was uncomfortable. This motel is in the suburbs, with family-style restaurants, gas stations and not much more to look at or do. While only a 5-10min highway drive to Old Quebec, we preferred […] to pay the premium for a hotel in the old city later during our stay. Read more

"DISTANT FROM CITY BUT ATTRACTIVE"
Young man at the reception desk told me that getting to city center by bus would take 1.5 hours and by car only 5 minutes. Parking would be abundant and cost $8. The true part was about the 5 minutes to enter the city. However, there was some festival in town (what happens every weekend in the summer), so we spent 40 minutes to find parking in some […] old courtyard for $20. Probably would have been better off with a taxi. Hotel is located only 10 minutes away from the falls, which was our 2nd day - lots of fun as it was hot. Read more

"a great find"
I really loved this place. it was simple and comfortable. The room was pretty big even for just a simple continental room. The service really made a difference they were able to help us out with buses and things to do. They have a very friendly and knowledgable staff. If i would go back to Quebec i would very likely stay here again.
"Great value"
Close to everything, clean, comfortable. Very satisfied

"Great accommodations and the price is reasonable"
My room was the ground floor of the "castle" shown in the picture. The room was decent size, had a king bed, and a large flat screen TV. The room was very clean and the bathroom was spotless. Based on my accommodations, I would recommend this hotel to others. It is only one block to the 44o which leads directly to Old Town, (approx. a 5 minute drive). […] There are also several places to eat nearby. There was door side parking available. Read more
"Very Nice Hotel with helpful employees"
The room was very nice and clean. The people that work there are very helpful in directing us where to go (first time in Quebec)and where to park. Will use this hotel again in the near future.
"Good place to stay"
It's a pretty good place to stay, it's close to Downtown and the hotel itself is good shape. The staff is really kind and they try to help as much as they can. The only thing that caused us trouble is that they close the front desk around midnight, we didn't know and we arrived at 1 am, we couldn't get into our room and we had to stay somewhere else. […] Next morning I talked with them and they said that they left the key in the mailbox, they offered us to stay next night instead of the one we missed. They were very respectful and tried to help. We stayed there next night. Read more
"great room for the price"
Nice place to stay. Close to all things Quebec City has to offer.
"To Be Avoided"
Hotel did not meet expectations. Was in a remote and blighted area east of Quebec City. Staff had search for ice cubes and could only find a small tray. Pool area was a joke, with not much more than a sprinkler. TV couldn't be turned to view from bed. Certainly not worth the money paid.

"Just What we Needed"
While the hotel is a little out of the city, it is only about a 10 minute drive to the center of Quebec. It is also only about 10 minutes to the Montmercy falls. The room was clean, and reasonably spacious. Parking was free and ample. If part of your traveling expectations include a hotel "experience" then this is not likely the place for you. If […] you view a hotel as a place to dump your luggage and sleep, this more than fits the bill. Pleasant, clean, convenient. Read more

"Great Hotel"
Hotel was awesome and very clean. The people were very helpful and polite! It was minutes from downtown Quebec and all of the wonderful attractions that Quebec has to offer!!! I will definitely stay here again!
"Great room for the moeny"
I was a bit concerned when we called because we were going to be later than 10 pm and they told us if they were not still open they would put the key in an envelope on the door - where were we staying? Turned out to be great! The room was very large, with a small refrigerator, closet, lovely bathroom, and comfortable beds. The hotel is outside of downtown […] Quebec, but it took us only about 7-10 minutes and we easily found street parking close to were we wanted to go. The price was right, the location was great (between the city and the falls), and the room was fantastic! Read more
"Good value"
Near the Shrine, the fall, and the old Quebec City. You can find a parking space in Town with reasonable price.

"Excellent Value in Quebe City"
The staff were very friendly and of great assistance. The rooms were very spacious and well-maintained. And the hotel offered excellent value given it's price and location in the city. This hotel is highly recommended.

"Auberge Littorale in Quebec City"
It is a nice place to live for several days. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Only, there is horn of train in the morning which may be annoying for someone particularly those who want to sleep till noon.
"Auberge du Littoral - very nice hotel, will return"

amazing! very comfortable and quiet..we loved it..the customer service is perfect as well..you don't need to go to a 5 stars hotel, u can fint all u need in littoral with a lower price..and u're close to everything (montmorency falls, old quebec...)
"“Nice motel, nice stay, nice access, friendly staf"
Was looking for good price near the old Quebec City. This one is nice choice - about 6 km from old city. You can walk there no problem. Nice sets of breakfast ($8), clean room, nice mattresses, nice price for 4 people in one room. Friendly and helpful staff.
