Wonderful place to stay in late October. Beautiful colors, fantastic trails. Rode the lift up the mountain for Halloween. Staff was very helpful. We'll be back.

WOW. It was a combination business and leisure trip. The Fall colors were at their peak and it was breathtaking. Fly fishing with a guide was a highlight. The Utah mountains are incerdible.

What made this outstanding was the view from our cabin, otherwise it was pleasing. Definitely not a 5 star stay but I got such a great deal on Expedia that I was not upset with "Pleasing".

Our "Standard" room was disappointingly tiny, and ridiculously so for the price. We had to edge around the bed to move across the room, and there was only one chair. The bijou nature of the room was starkly evident one day of heavy rains when we discovered that Sundance has no common area, lounge, or other place capable of seating more than three or […] four people at a time, and that we had no option for a place to sit and read except our room. Our room was decorated nicely and had a pleasant, small patio, but the bathroom fixtures were terrible (sink fixtures so undersized that the water from the spigot ran down the back of the basin, making it hard to wash one's hands; the shower fixtures were floppy and loose, and seemingly incapable of calibrating a pleasant shower temperature). The sounds of plumbing, footfalls and voices from adjoining units were highly audible and borderline annoying. The room was in a building that required an outdoor, downhill walk from the parking area and a further descent of 20 steps, and we (seniors; bad knees) were not apprised of this fact before being escorted to the room. The mountain location is scenic and wonderful, and the grill restaurant served delicious food. But the lodging was underwhelming, and the whole resort seemed dated in size and amenities (again, for the price). All in all, the target demographic for this hotel is very young, vigorous and inclined to be outdoors most of the time. Others might find it a bit lacking. Read more

The location is superb, the staff and hotel grounds are superb. The bed was VERY comfortable, the Foundry Restaurant on sight was wonderful. I stayed in Mandan #7 a cottage suite with mini kitchen. My few complaints are: the plumbing fixtures are old and the shower dripped, the shower knobs knocked and were poorly planned, need replacing. The bathroom […] tile work and fixtures need replacing desperately, they are no where near a 4 or 5 star resort. The furniture isn't comfortable. I struggled to know where to sit comfortably. The 2 chairs at the foot of the bed are not comfortable. The skylight above bed is nice in the day and horrible in the morning. You have an automatic alarm clock whether you want it or not. Our stay at Sundance was perfect !! Traci at the front desk was very helpful she got us dinner reservations & enrolled in pottery classes with very little notice ! Also Josh the bellman was very informative.

This is a great place to go if you are looking to get out of the city and relax yet there is still alot to do so you don't get bored. There are classes to take in the art studio, trails to hike, bikes to rent, and spa. The bar is cool as well as the fine dining food was excellent. The service in the property was very good. The staff was very nice.

The short stay in Sundance resort met all our expectations. The surroundings and the hotel decor were special and fascinating in comparison of the other ski resort in Colorado. A very rusty genuine feeling of living an experience of the past. The accommodation, the hotel facilitiies, the ski complex blended with the remoteness of the mountains.

Les chambres sont dans des maisons en bois réparties dans un immense parc boisé avec un torrent qui coule au milieu. 2 excellents restaurants, un accueil très chaleureux; de magnifiques ballades aux alentours, du VTT, un spa: que demander de plus pour passer des vacances agréables?
