Customer Care/Deception
Everything was outstanding. My only issue was with the front desk clerk (a female). I asked for a room upgrade. She informed me that it was not possible as there were no rooms available. I immediately navigated to the hotel website via Expedia. I booked an upgraded an upgraded room. I returned to the front desk and informed the female desk clerk. She appeared shocked and stated that she just couldn't understand how that could possibly have occurred. I travel extensively. I may have been born in the dark of night but it certainly was not last night. Very poor concern for the customer. The disturbing part of the entire fiasco was the deception and dishonesty. I will not return and most certainly will make it known to all my experience.

College Graduation Weekend Downtown
This was our first stay here, and we had a great time. The room was comfortable, breakfast on the terrace was very nice, and the staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Great boutique place to stay downtown.

Great place!!
Fabulous period furnishings and a charming rooftop area where evening wine and cheese and morning breakfast buffet is served, overlooks the historic district with a distant view of the sea plus close proximity to shopping and site seeing make this an ideal place to stay.

Glad we made the trip!!!
I originally booked this stay as a spring break option for my youngest. It turned into a wonderful experience for both my wife and I. It's funny how you ask for, "just like the pics". With our visit we got that and more. The staff and overall hotel was great nothing less than the fine print. I plan on making this trip again.

Great but small for a family.
The staff at the hotel was wonderful. Concierge was helpful. Breakfast on the balcony was gorgeous and relaxing. My kids loved it! My husband and I loved the wine and cheese at 4pm on the balcony even though we don't drink. The location was supreme and the room was very pretty. The only thing I would say that wasn't great was that the room was very small for our whole family. We had 2 full beds that were smaller than normal and the pillows were very uncomfortable. The bedding was nice and the air-conditioning was excellent. The bathroom was also very small. I should have expected this based on the fact that its a historic hotel. Next time I would get 2 rooms for my family and it would have been fine.
