My stay was as expected. Extremely clean, neat and very quiet. Enjoyed our stay and recommend it for a weekend getaway.

Beautiful historic hotel, location was perfect. Breakfast on the roof terrace was delightful. Air conditioning in room needs to upgraded, we were not suppose to lower air below 69 degrees, which made sleeping a little uncomfortable. But overall I would recommend the hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were nice. Very good location - walking distance to restaurants and shops. Complimentary breakfast on the balcony was nice. Downside - no pool, overflow parking is in garage next door. A decent value for Charleston.

OUR STAY THERE WAS WONDERFUL, EVERYONE WAS VERY HELPFUL, I ESPECIALLY LIKED THE BREAKFAST (THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!!!) AND THE OUTSIDE BALCONY WHERE WE ATE ALONG WITH THE GREAT VIEW. The hotel was in close walking distance to all the places we enjoy in historic Charleston. The rooms were comfortable with cozy beds and nice towels. I was surprised to find the carpet not as clean as the rest of the room. The rooftop breakfast is a tasty and nice added touch. It was a quaint experience for a lovely get-a-way weekend!

WE loved the city. The hotel room was very nice, but we made our reservations well ahead and were still placed in the room underneath the breakfast bar, which was very noisy with the scraping of chairs overhead.The concierge was extremely helpful and gave us wonderful tips.

The area outside closes down around 7 so if you want bottled water you should already have it. Charleston is old. If you want to stay in an old inn, you have to have different expectations. It is creaky and you can certainly hear most everything that goes on in the hall, and it's comfortable enough but not on par with what you would get for the same price in, say, Las Vegas. But the same holds for NYC or DC too. In any case, I liked this a lot […] because we wanted to be centrally located and pop in and out as we pleased. The non-cleaning staff are excellent. Cleaning staff wasn't stellar, knocking on our door three times the day of check out to see if we were gone yet (before check out time). We didn't have the do not distrub sign up but still. Breakfast is pretty good and start the day off right. If you want standard hotel stuff for the price, stay at one of the chains and it might be better. It was worth it to us, though, to stay in something historic and unique. I would probably alternative between Pinckney and a chain on subsequent visits, depending on mood and purpose of the trip. Our experience was delightful from the moment we entered the charming, cozy lobby. Our room was nicely furnished and decorated. It was very quiet and comfortable. We really looked forward to breakfast on the rooftop terrace. The cookies served in the lobby each afternoon were scrumptious! The staff was very professional and extremely helpful.

The Inn parking lot had a tree that splattered red berries on the hood, roof and front and rear windows of our car. They could not be scraped off as the heat plastered them onto our car. We were presently surprised with both the downtown location and the large size of our room at this quaint "inn". The Andrew Pickney is comprised of at least two buildings and both are styled with classic southern charm. We will make this a stopping place in the future.

For the price of this hotel, it was a great value. The location is unbeatable. The room was comfortable. Bathroom was a bit tight, but that was the only downfall. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was included and was delicious! No room service or workout facilities, but that was unimportant to us.

This time our room was only big enough to fit the bed - this made it uncomfortable all night as the room got hot, then freezing when the air kicked on right next to the bed. I would have liked to have had bottled water in the room or a small refrigerator to store my own. Great place to stay in Charleston. Attentive staff, nice big room although we had to rearrange the large chairs in order to watchtower TV. Wonderful location to walk about the historic/French districts and to the waterpark. We were there 3 nights and never had to use our car while there.
