Great hotel with excellent location within walking distance of tower and arc. Room was very clean and nicely appointed. Staff was very helpful and fluent in English. Room was a bit on the small size, but for a short stay this was not a problem.

My wife and I spent 3 nights in Paris and loved the location of the hotel. It is across the river from the Eiffel Tower, easy 15 min walk. We loved the neighborhood, actually felt like we lived there. Didn't feel like you were staying in a tourist area. So many great bread, wine, cheese and butcher shops close by. Perfect for making a picnic and sitting by the Eiffel Tower. Metro stop few blocks away (Trocadero)which will take you anywhere in the city. The staff was soo friendly and helpful.

Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 4, 2009
We showed up at this hotel and they said they were having electrical problems and we could not stay there - that there was no room. It sounded a bit fishy, but safety first I guess. The hotel did arrange a taxi to one of their "sister hotels" - same price, same quality level... but overall I can't recommend a place that turns guests away.

The Plaza Tour Eiffel Hotel is in an excellent location in Paris' 16th arrondisment. It was less than a 5 min. walk to the Trocadero Metro station. The employees at the front desk were all very friendly and willing to answer any questions that we had and they all spoke English. The condition of the room was great except that the bath tub was breaking away from the tile and was difficult to take a shower without getting water all over the floor. Other than that we had a very pleasant stay here.

The location was fantastic, very close to the Eifel Tower and a good Metro entrance but in a quite neighborhood where you could sleep at night without noise on the streets. Everything was fantastic with the hotel. The only problem was the Internet was a bit "spotty" so I could not use Skype more than 3 minutes without losing the connection. But, the fact that it was free wireless internet is what made me want to stay there.

What a great hotel. Very well kept room, L'Occitane goodies in the bathroom. Could see the top of the Eiffel Tower if you leaned out of the bedroom window! They were really great at making my 30th birthday fabulous. Champagne breakfast in bed was delivered when requested and was lovely. I would definitely stay here again, good location as five mins from Trocadero Metro.

This is a pleasant little boutique hotel in a quiet neighborhood (16th arrondisement). The staff were alll extremely pleasant & just as happy to speak in English or to teach us phrases in French. They were also very helpful w/practical advice about what to do & getting around Paris. We felt like we had a great home-base from which to venture out in to Paris on our first trip there. One staff member, Daniel was really outstanding!

Located in an upscale quiet residential neighborhood, but easy and short walking distance to cafes and shops, let alone the Eiffel Tower and Seine. The staff was always helpful and spoke fluent English. Room was very clean and modern and the wifi reception was excellent. Also very easy access to CDG airport via the metro.

Plaza Tour Eiffel is in a great location - a few blocks from the Trocadero (cafes, the metro system and Eiffel Tower views). The rooms are quite small, the beds pretty firm. Quiet street, so no traffic noise, but lots of shopping within walking distance. A nice find.

Location is great - the street is quiet, but very near the Trocadero (and Metro station) and plenty of shopping. Eiffel tower and Arc de Trimuphe are walking distance. Hotel rooms are quite small but nice. Bed was a little firm by American standards. Staff is very cordial. Free internet - either on the (one) loby PC or in-room wireless, but you must get a new account number and PW from the desk daily.

This hotel is very clean, very neat, and nicely modernised. Placed pleasingly near to the Eiffel Tower, it was more central to attractions in Paris than I first thought. The staff were extremely pleasent, and the hotel was very comfortable to stay in. As a whole, we really liked it. The positives: * Very friendly staff * Free wireless Internet Access! * Great location * Very clean * About 400m from the metro station (not 100m as hotels.com suggests) The only negatives were the following: * There was no soap in our room - I don't know whether this is a French thing, but I found it bizarre. When I asked I was told there was no soap, but it appeared on the third night (after we had bought our own!) * The rooms were very nice, but quite small. In particular the bathroom is one of the smaller one's I've had at a hotel. Also the screen for the shower was insuffcient, so the bathroom constantly got very wet on the floor. * Breakfast wasn't amazing. Their 'American buffet' consisted of scambled eggs and bacon only, although there were pastries and the like as well. All in all, I'd give it 4/5, and we would probably stay there again.
