Seriously, in the smallest sense of the word this is a hotel and I hope not representative of the facilities available in Martinique. There was no bed in the room, but cots. A queen bed is well, two of those cots pushed together - voila! No room service. The decor is the same as my trip maybe 8 years ago, and the blankets on the bed are just too suspect […] to have missed the attention of the owners. The internet? LOL. it tried once then just gave up after about 5 minutes. No my friends, this hotel should be advertised for what it is, a hostel, so people can make better informed decisions. Practical well-run hotel with some old charm. Earns it's last star due to Lily's beach and beach-bar. Clean, well-sized rooms. Good breakfast-buffet. Good choice for a few night's stay to start/end a vaction.

The building is located right on the beach, which is the only good thing about it. As soon as we opened the room doors, a stench of mold welcomed us. The bedcovers had some holes on them, the bathrooms were dirty (hair on the floor and several stains), and to top it off there was a hole on the base of the bathtub covered with duct tape. The staff were really very nice, and breakfast was edible in the morning. The hotel itself however, is falling apart. The beds are hard and springy, the paint is peeling throughout te hotel. The pool was equally decrepid. In the end, it's only redeeming quality is the staff. This is a two star level hotel, and should be approached as such.

Had a wonderful 3 days at Hotel La Bateliere. Stunning views from the dining room where we enjoyed a lovely buffet breakfast each morning. After a hit of tennis on the adjacent (free) tennis courts it was down to the wonderful, cozy beach bar/restaurant below for drinks and a long lazy lunch and swim. Perfect! The staff in the hotel reception, dining […] room and beach bar were friendly, helpful, and except for one or two persons, spoke very passable English, so no problems at all. We went to Carnival 2 of the nights, once catching a free bus a modest walk from the hotel, the next taking a 15-min taxi ride. We had dinner in the hotel the last night and it was delicious and an incredible value. The room/furnishings were quite acceptable, although admittedly the place could use a facelift (peeling paint/etc on the balcony and some outdoor common areas). I wish i could attach a photo of the view over the pool/sea from the dining room - that alone would convince anyone to stay here! :) Overall, very good value and a wonderful, peaceful place. Although the hotel is listed as 4 stars, it is in need of significant repair and certainly deserves no more than 3 stars. Our deluxe room was very spacious and had a very large balcony with a great view. Overall the staff was helpful, especially the cleaning and maintenance teams. The only serious problem we had was with the WC. The flush chain broke […] on our second day and reception wanted to move us to a room that was definitely not deluxe instead of making this small repair. Pluie,pluie pluie....mais vous n'y pouvez rien...Laisse du temps pour profiter de l'hôtel...agréable avec ses espaces de restauration face à la mer et une petite plage de sable fin au pied de l'établissement. Idéal pour se reposer sans avoir besoin de voiture.

Séjour d'une nuit du 14 décembre, nous avons été enchanté et sommes retournés pour 5 autres nuit du 25 au 30 décembre. Un bonheur chambre face mer, accueil chaleureux, Ascenseur REPAREE, déjeuner au bar de la plage avec son transat dès le petit matin. J'ai connu cet hôtel par le passé... Il reste bien placé et globalement agréable, mais on sent que l'entretien se relâche. L’hôtel n'est pas parti pour répondre aux attentes de la clientèle d'aujourd'hui. Il faudrait plus d'entretien et moderniser la déco, tout en restant dans le style créole. A 2-star hotel in deep need of renovation. The painting in our room was litterarly falling down. Isolated location, you need a car to find a restaurant outside the hotel. A small but nice poolarea and beach, though.

Great place view, pool and superb beach bar and the rate included an OK breakfast. However, Our room was stinking of mold. The reception kindly had someonr to spray depodorant in the room - not quite what I expected. The room was in need of renovation in many ways. If only the rooms were decent the hotel would be a very nice one.

Prima hotel en zeer aan te bevelen. Kamer is netjes schoon ziet er verder goed uit qua onderhoud en comfort. Ze zijn vriendelijk en staan je netjes te woord. Hôtel trés vétuste doit être rénover rapidement. Ascenseur en panne, rideaux dans les chambres attaqués par les mites, grande difficulté à comprendre la facturation (inclus ou pas ?), les tarifs de blanchisserie sont différents entre la liste et le jour du paiement ? etc.....

Hotel dni swej świetności ma za sobą.Jego 4* w Eueropie czy USA by nie przeszły.Położenie jest jego głównym atutem.Pokoje czyste i przestronne ale w naszym był grzyb na suficie a okno w łazience zalklejone było taśmą i kartonem.Na korytarzach zacieki i odpadająca farba.Ładny hol,basen,plaża,resturacja.
