It was very nice.It felt like home. Only complaints are the room we had is in need of wall paper maintenance in the bathroom and the bottom sheets were passed its prime. The location was spot on for my travel needs.

While the people were responsive and kind when an unexpected glitch occurred in access to my room, the condition of the space seemed depressing. They didn't want to give me a key to my room. They said they would let me in and out, and when I needed to get in to the building to call the phone number on the door. Even when I knocked, they came to the door only when they had finished everything else. The pictures of the place really look cool, but anyone should know it is a really old building […] and all of the metal is rusted. This is a house with 18 rooms and in the heart of buckhead. You are within miles of everything. The building is older so if you have to have everything new looking this isn't for you. However, it's a great stay - private and quaint. We had a great time out only issue was slow Internet service on the third floor.

The long-time hotel owner appears to have bankrupt and the hotel is now owned by a bank. Accordingly the hotel is not well-managed anymore and basic services are neglected. We are put in a third-floor room. TV was not working, the old bed was so uncomfortable that we hardly slept over the first night, and the shower was like a faucet. My wife was so […] unhappy about the room so asked to let us move to another room. Fortunately another room was available, and we got better bed, normal shower and a working TV set in the new room. My wife particularly has a high standard on accommodations and she decided not to stay in this hotel again. Toilet leaks and continually makes loud tank-filling noises, AC makes excessive noise and blows directly in my face in bed, bed mattress springs are collapsed and sags badly towards the middle, bad smell, like bug spray, cracks and holes in the walls and tile floor and tile walls, loud noises from squeaky floors above ceiling and outside door.

First, if you are a top of the line, modern day, everything must be perfect type of person, keep looking because this hotel will not be for you. Now if you love the quaint tranquility of the old non-corporate places, I recommend this place. When I first arrived and seen the place I wondered "What have I gotten into?". I guess I wasn't expecting to see […] the window AC units sticking out of the side of the building. Once inside, I found no lobby to check in, there was an office in the back and it was not occupied, but within 2 minutes I was greeted by a very friendly gentleman which apologized (which wasn't necessary) and checked me in. In addition, he showed me the breakfast area and escorted me to my room. My room was extremely large, bed was very comfy, private patio (I was on first floor), kitchenette (no dishes or cooking utensils), large closet, and nice bathroom. Everything was extremely clean (except they failed to empty out the fridge). Oh, and that window AC unit ... it was a up-to-date AC/Heat unit that worked extremely well keeping me comfortable where ever I roamed in the room - a lot better than most hotels!! Free parking in the rear of the building. I do not recommend very large vehicles because the driveway is narrow but there is also street parking available. My CONS: the wallpapper in the bathroom was beginning to peel and needs to be replaced; empty wall recepticals were hard to find. However, I will be staying here again! Loved it! Read more

He walked us to our room and opened out door despite that it was 3 am. Great location, free parking, big rooms with kitchen and balcony and clean. If the owners were to invest some $ into the place it would be a really nice b and b but as is its ok. Don't stay if you are really picky because the pics are not super accurate. The place is old. The staff are super friendly and accomodating.

I was ready to stay at a quaint bed and breakfast. I was ready to stay in an old building. I was ready to enjoy a very low key trip to Atlanta. When we arrived at 3:30 in the am, the front office personnel was VERY helpful. After I saw my room....I almost wanted to load my truck and find another hotel that moment. Small nit picky things that "made" me change hotels in the morning...half used bottle of shampoo, a quarter sized piece of soap, no toilet paper (not even an empty roll), falling ceiling in the bathroom, rust in the sink,.... Let me be frank - there was no trash anywhere in my room, no hairs, etc - it was just a VERY unkempt building. I know it is old - that's why I chose it! The Beverly Hills Inn is very European. If you understand that means floors that creak, window units to heat/cool your room and plumbing that's sometimes inconsistent, then you will really appreciate this hotel. My room was quite large, huge by European standards, and comfortable. The TV remote didn't work, and every use of the toilet required the lid […] to be removed and flapper pushed down, but that's not a big deal. In all, I'd rather give my money to a local businessman than the corporate giant down the street. The location is exceptional; one of the safest neighborhoods in Atlanta. And a huge plus is free parking. You'll pay typically $20 night parking (more downtown), so considering you don't have that additional expense, the Beverly Hills Hotel is even less expensive. My visit required arriving just before midnight both nights, and I never felt uncomfortable. Parking is behind the hotel and they have a key card entry into the building so you don't need to walk around to the front door. Breakfast is yogurt, pastry, bagels and orange juice, provided for several hours to accommodate both early risers and late sleepers. So if you are OK with the creaky floors and window unit humming all night, you really won't find a better bargain in such a great Atlanta neighborhood. Read more

I love historical old buildings like this. Of course there is going to be some evidence of an aging structure, but that just adds to the charm. The floors were a little creaky so you can hear the people walking around on the third floor (or was it the ghost!). Room was very clean.

I booked this based on proximity to downtown where I had to attend a conference. Pros: easy connection from the airport even at night. I took the MARTA train and then a bus that dropped me a few hundred feet from the inn. This was really nice and the location appeared safe. There is a Walgreen's and Publix grocery as well and B and N book store all […] very close. If you want to go to downtown and prefer not to drive, this is a great location. The inn itself is renovated and not something a person wanting an absolutely well maintained room will prefer. There was a leaking faucet that for 3 days annoyed my sleep. Although the room is spacious, the bed was not comfortable and the duvet not very clean. Same goes for the carpets in the common areas. Breakfast is included but not until 7.15 am.Also I did not know how to contact front desk-dialing 0 does not work and the contact number is not posted near the phone. These are some of the things one is used to at usual hotels so not having easy access was frustrating although I figured it out on my day 3. Overall would give it a miss! Read more

Expedia did not mention that it was on the Top 10 List of Haunted Hotels in the U.S. Since I arrived late (and alone), it did seem pretty scary. The staff looked the part, but were very helpful. It was a good value, and met my needs. My room was one of those shown on your sight. This is not the run-of-the-mill overnight accommodation.

We absolutely loved the charm of the Beverly Hills Inn and though only spent one quick night there, we would definitely plan to stay there again. The building is older, there are quirky aspects to the room because of that (the faucets were loud!) but it was very clean and comfortable. The balcony was awesome!

Good spot but the place is pretty worn out. Our room didn't have a phone, tv cable needed to be jiggled to work, one bed was hard, one was soft...had no desire to rebook for an additional day.
