My husband and I stayed in a preferred room at the Now Sapphire for 10 nights in Feb. and wished we had booked a longer trip. The resort was beautiful, the food was good, and the people were friendly. We had dinner in all the restaurants except the Cibu although breakfast there was god. Our favorite was the Lemongrass both the regular menu and Hibatchi. If you buy a bottle of wine, you can sit at an outside table at the Lemongrass or Paramour. The water landscaping around these restaurants as well as the main resort area is beautiful. . Puerto Morelos is a little remote but with plenty of entertainment if that's what you like. We had an oceanfront room on the first floor with two double beds. We had asked for a king room but none were available for a couple days so the two double beds were put together and that worked out well. We elected to stay where we were since we loved the room location. We enjoyed the bali beds at the adults only pool. Much more comfortable than ones we've tried in the past. We usually like to spend more time at the beach but we had a few windy days and it was a little chilly so we moved to the pool which was more protected from the wind. I would only suggest a couple improvements. Air conditioning in the gym; It was very hot although I was content with the equipment. The other thing that would have been nice is the availability of food at the beach and pool areas so you don't have to go into a restaurant.

Limited entertainment, incompetent reception staff, some waiting and hospitality staff not very friendly, some rooms are smaller for the same price, hotel is too spread out and many rooms are very far from the ocean

This is a hotel with a good staff and lots of potential. Beds need an upgrade and rooms smell musty. Otherwise good value and nice breakfast buffet. Nice to have access to adjoining hotel's grounds.

I've gotten such a good deal on this hotel, that I can't really complain. I wish they had a water cooler in the lobby, this is the first hotel in Mexico... I stayed at that did not have water in public places. It also got loud sometimes till past midnight, but it's not really their fault. Room are very small, and what they call two full beds, really are two twins. Everyone that worked there only spoke very little english, very little.

I didn't like having to wear the arm band that supposedly allowed me access to the hotel. No one ever checked the arm band and it was annoying to wear. The staff spoke limited English. There was black mold growing on the ceiling in the bathroom. Poor ventilation in the room. The tv remote didn't work nor did the air conditioner

This review title says it all. This hotel insists that toilet paper be placed in the waste receptacle rather than be flushed down the toilet. This is especially challenging when one is experiencing Montezuma's Revenge. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting to flush their soiled toilet paper.

O hotel fica em ótima localização, a apenas 1 quarteirão da rua principal e 2 da praia, perto da rodoviária, do Ferry e do Wal-mart. As instalações são simples, mas o quarto confortável. Ótimo lugar para os turistas que não se importam em ficar em hotéis mais simples e baratos, mas sem abrir mão de limpeza e conforto para dormir. Alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Immer alles super sauber und sehr nett hergerichtet! Die Lage ist super! Alles binnen 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar und diverse günstige Essmöglichkeiten vor der Tür (in der 10.Avenida). Zum Hotel gehört auch der kostenlose Shuttle vom Partnerhotel Tukan zum Strandclub (calle 28), dort gratis Liegen und Sonnenschirme […] (und Toiletten). Es gibt unendlich viele Hotels mittlerweile vor Ort, aber das Nina ist sehr günstig und top! Alles was geboten wird ist sehr gut und die Dinge die nicht inbegriffen sind wie das Essen haben wir gerne individuell vor Ort genutzt um flexibler zu sein, es wäre aber auch beim Partner Tukan buchbar. Además y pese a no tener piscina pues puedes ir a otro de la cadena que sí tiene ( es un poco lejos) donde te dejan toallas por si quieres ir a la playa, donde también tienen club naútico.
