The Sands at Grace Bay is nestled on the sugar sands of Grace Bay Beach in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands. The Provo Golf & Country Club is three kilometers from the property. Scuba diving and snorkeling at Smith's Reef, and Turtle Cove's restaurants and marina are four kilometers from the resort.
Resort Features.
This Caribbean plantation-style resort offers studios and suites in 6, three-story buildings. The resort is built around two freeform pools connected by canals that wind through the courtyard and tropical gardens. Hemingway's open-air, beachfront restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, featuring Caribbean specialties and the fresh catch of the day. A dinner favorite is the fresh grouper, lightly spiced and pan seared with a tequila-sauce veggie salsa. On Tuesday evenings, Hemingway's hosts Caribbean Night with live music.
The resort offers two computer stations and complimentary wireless Internet access in the Hospitality Center. The free-form pools feature a waterfall, spa tub and small grottoes, and the resort also offers a beachside circular pool. The Sands at Grace Bay provides complimentary use of kayaks, wind-surfing equipment, snorkeling gear, Hobie Cat sailboats and bicycles. Resort amenities include hammocks strung through a coconut grove, beach chairs and towels, and thatched umbrellas. The Sands at Grace Bay offers 114 total non-smoking studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom suites featuring terra-cotta tile floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, sliding glass doors and garden, courtyard or ocean views. All accommodations, except for the courtyard studios, offer furnished screened balconies. Suites feature full kitchens, living and dining areas, and washers and dryers.
