We had a good experience at Tahiti Village. The tropical decor was inviting and the staff was very helpful in assisting with suggestions for activities. The shuttle was also a plus. We enjoyed our stay.

2 blocks away from south outlets, $20 cab fare from the airport, $6 cab fare to the car rental and has shuttle to/from the strip every half hour.

We stayed in a 2BR for two nights. The room was very good - everything worked and was clean. The 2BR room is a lockoff, and the studio is much larger than we expected; it's actually a suite. Consequently, the master bedroom is a bit smaller than we expected. Also, the double lockoff doors have spring hinges, so they will not remain open unless you prop each open with a chair - that is a bit annoying. A firm pillow was not found on either bed; the firm pillow is hidden in the extra sets of bedding for the sofa beds. During checkin, you are asked a variety of info about your car: Make, Model, Color, Plate, and State on the plates. They enter all of this into a computer. We gave them the info and went on our way. The next morning, I found a nastygram on my car window saying I would be towed within several hours for not displaying the parking tag I WAS NEVER GIVEN. Turns out that after standing in the checkin line, you then need to stand in the line at the concierge desk to get a parking pass. This is the height of stupidity, as the concierge looks up the info that the front desk just entered. There is no reason why the front desk couldn't have given me the parking pass. I realize that Vegas is not your typical resort town, because parking is comped everywhere. But because Tahiti Village has no casino, I don't understand why they do not have secure gated parking.

The place is great, the staff very nice. But nobody told me I must clean the room every day. Take out the trash and call for help if ran out toilet paper. Check out is too early (10:00 am) with zero tolerance.

This is the third year that I have spent Christmas week at the Tahiti Village. The suites with full kitchens are spacious, comfortable and quite functional. We like the fact it is not located right on the Strip, but only a couple minutes away. The pool area is really great. I will return.

This hotel is not worth the price they charge for the type of room you get Stay at one of the casino hotels their rooms are better and are at a lesser price. Not happy with the staff at this property. Will not stay here again.

We got in the hotel at 5pm and had to wait for roughly 30 mins due to no room availability because all rooms are still being cleaned, when we had it booked ahead of time. Other than that the hotel is awesome. Love the fact that its located on the outskirt of the strip. Makes you feel relaxed away from the craziness the strip gives yet minutes away when you are ready to party and go crazy. I'd return here for sure for some spa and massage...

Went for wife's birthday with a group of friends. I booked the adjoining suites so we would have plenty of space and everybody was very pleased as soon as we walked in the room. 5 women were able to get themselves all dolled up in the master suites bathroom and we used the kitchen. Great experience, need to go in the summer to enjoy that lazy river

My room had a living space, large bathroom, and bedroom with a sliding door closet. The Lazy River pool is great for swimmers. Used by "tire tube" waders in the afternoon, the meandering route is a pleasure to swim. I swam with the current and at the end against the current. The week before Thanksgiving, Vegas was empty, and cool to cold.

We stopped here for 1 night before an early flight from McCarran Airport. The lobby is being updated so it will probably be better soon. The rooms are suites with full kitchen. All the rooms have a king bed in the bedroom and a pullout couch in the living room. As far as I know there are no rooms with 2 beds although I didn't ask about rollaways. There is a river pool which looked nice but we didn't go in it. No time. There's a great shopping area nearby (Town Square Las Vegas) with many types of restaurants and stores. Very upscale and pleasant. We ate at Kabuki Japanese restaurant which was amazing. Taxi to Airport the next morning was around $18.00. Pretty much the same as a Strip hotel. The lobby had a heavy perfumy odor and the suite also had a pretty strong room deodorizer smell. Not horrible, but if you're sensitive, it might not be the hotel for you.

Nice hotel, check in wasn't bad, although the night woman on staff was very rude and treated me and the other guests in my party like little children, as if she was above us. Very rude, short to answer, not someone you would want as the face of a hotel. Ignored me a few times and apparently the paperwork she was doing was more important than greeting me after standing in front of her for fifteen seconds. That is my only complaint. The bed was amazing! First time I've ever woke up without back pain in god knows how long. Awesome room, very nice very clean, superb. I'm a local here to Vegas, just wanted a little staycation.

The place is very nice and even smells nice. As soon as you enter the lobby you smell coconut and it makes you feel good. We have some issues though with communication. My wife's room key wouldn't work while loading the car and the housekeeping staff would not help and referred her to the front desk which rang off the hook and didn't get answered until several attempts. The housekeeping staff said they wouldn't let her in the room to gather the rest of her stuff for checkout but that same staff had no problem coming in to the room twice before noon (a pre agreed upon check out time). When an agreement like that is made, someone should really share it with the housekeeping staff.

We found this resort on line at the last minute as we were traveling through Las Vegas. We chose it primarily for the pools. We arrived at 4:30, and were told the pools closed at 4:30 PM and reopened at 10 AM. Check out is 10. After checking out, we hung out to swim, which was fine with Tahiti Village. Just be prepared for this. We loved the resort, and will return.

Disappointed during the checkin process. Had to wait a while for my room, finally they told me they would call. That never happened. The furniture in the room was very uncomfortable to sit on. As a family getaway, I was disappointed. The lazy river and the pool is not connected. you need to leave gated areas and walk between them. very inconvenient with children.

A fellow guest burned his breakfast and set off the fire alarm when he opened his door and the smoke wafted into the hallway. Although as a timeshare resort we are not licensed to operate a casino, our free Strip shuttle makes stops at two hotel-casinos at the top and bottom of the hour from 9 a.m. daily. Here at Tahiti Village we make it easy to have a traditional Las Vegas experience and still have a relaxing getaway. Thank you for sharing your comments.

The Good: Large room with en suite living room and full kitchen. Bedroom is large with good-sized very comfortable mattress. In the bathroom there is a whirlpool bath and steam jets in shower which add to the overall comfort of the stay. The hotel offers great water-themed outdoor amenities, including a lazy river, jacuzzi and large pool. The Bad: The lousy restaurant/sports bar tacks on a 20% "gratuity" to EVERY bill regardless of number in party or what is ordered (I was alone). Note to the hotel: Gratuities are freely given...at least be honest and call it a service charge. I reluctantly ate there twice due to work schedule and complained about gratuity charge both times. Food is low-grade bar fodder for drunks served by indifferent, distracted servers. I strongly urge guests to avoid '17° South Booze & Bites' - if you have time drive off-site to dine

As a timeshare resort that also rents out rooms, we like giving our retail guests a taste of the vacation ownership lifestyle. We implemented an automatic 20 percent gratuity policy at 17° South Booze & Bites because customers frequently tip well below the accepted percentage (even for good service) or not at all. That makes it difficult to keep good workers and, subsequently, to deliver the kind of service people should want to reward. To avoid misunderstandings we now include the policy in our menu. We regret you don’t share the opinion of many others who have patronized 17° South and enjoyed the diverse menu. We certainly hope you will consider another visit to Tahiti Village, however, even if it’s just for the reasons you stated at the top of your review.

I have stayed here many times before and would normally rate a 5+. This visit was far from that. Reservation not in system, check in was tedious and they tried to have me pay again. Had to convince clerk to get comp for the extended delay. Cleaning crew came into room when they shouldn't have. The housekeeping excuse was blamed on a new computer system had someone else in the room who was scheduled for a cleaning. After repeated conversations with manager, received comps for dinner at a restaurant nearby. At checkout hotel waived all other charges, resort fees, taxes, etc due to the experience. I really feel this was just a bad week. I really like the resort and the rooms. It's an oasis in the desert. I would give them another chance.

It is a decent place where to stay if you go to a convention and not gamble or shows. Its very clean and more family oriented. Not recomended for party goers. Not too far from strip, parking is a pain and the only eating options in the place are not the best. They did not made the room once or bring fresh towels... dissapinted...

We thuroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tahiti Village. Love the pool amenities. Fun family activities planned throughout the day. Loved the pumpkin decorating activity. Great staff. We lost our waterproof camera at the pool and it was turned in by the manager within an hour to the front desk. We will definitely return.

The one down fall is that the maids did not turn in my $100 dollar gift card that i know for a fact I left by the coffee maker.

This is in deference to our owners, who are often on property for a week or more at a time and do not want the intrusion of a daily cleaning visit. We do provide daily housekeeping for a fee and are always happy to replenish any item you may need during your stay.

We love to stay at the Tahiti Village Resort when we come to Las Vegas for business. Parking is plentiful, there are three restaurant on site, plus an outlet mail with multiple stores and places to eat. The huge lagoon style pool and lazy river are so relaxing and the perfect temperature. The activities center has crafts and events throughout the day and games, books, pool table, foos ball, and air hockey for your enjoyment. The work out room is well stocked with equipment, towels, water, and restroom. The front desk staff is helpful and friendly. You use the consigner desk to get a parking pass and they offer you great deals on shows if you have time to do a time share presentation. We do not have the time so decline, they are not pushy about it. We highly recommend this resort and we will stay again.

We have always stayed at a hotel right on the strip but decided to try something different. We found Tahiti Village to be close enough to the strip if we decided to go to the casinos but it was very nice to be able to enjoy the amenities at our hotel without the hustle and bustle. We did rent a car but there is a shuttle to the strip. The lazy river was great! We will definitely return on our next trip to Las Vegas.

Everything was first class and the room layout with two private bedrooms and a living room/full kitchen in the center was ideal for our stay. Nice outdoor cooking area with tables and chairs was a great place to have dinner. On site restaurant was very good food and reasonable price.
