"They should call it the A...."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
For the price paid this hotel is totally worth the money. Free breakfast and no resort fees! Location right on fremont. Hotel staff were very nice compared to some higher priced hotels. Front desk was friendly at check in. Valet guys were nice. Breakfast was awesome. Room was a little dated and tired but for the rate paid it was clean, quiet and safe.
"Great Price, Poor Hotel Upkeep"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
The room was a steal at the price, and it was right on the strip. Only complaints /i had were poor lobby lay-out (had to ask where the check in desk was) and poor room and elevator maintenance, the elevators shook so bad i thought we could plunge to the bottom at any moment.

Glittering, larger-than-life gambling palaces dominate Las Vegas Boulevard South, better known as The Strip. Here, hotels are destinations unto themselves. Within a three-mile stretch, visitors can see the New York City skyline, the Eiffel Tower, an Egyptian pyramid, imperial Rome, a dancing fountain, and an exploding volcano. A monorail links several hotels and the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The location is great. It is close to everthing on the strip. Having a full kitchen was also very nice. The resort itself is clean and the staff was very helpful. The room, however, is very cave like. There is no window in the living/dining/kitchen area or bathroom. The bedroom does have a window, but it looks right out at an adjacent tall building […] that pretty much blocks out any natural light. Read more
"great location"
the place is tucked away in a prime location - secret elevator to the cosmopolitan hotel was fun - we hung out at their bar and casino. ... we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that was huge ( 1150 sq feet ) , it overlooked a grey wall and needed to be updated but for the money it was perfect
"Amazing Deal"
A couple of friends and I stayed here for 3 nights during our spring break. I had heard about it through a couple who have a time share in the same building, and thought it would be a good place to check out. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with a full kitchen and all of the cooking utensils and eating utensils you could want (except shot glasses). […] The beds were comfortable and the living room was very spacious. Having access to the Cosmo and one of her pools was also really nice. Located in the middle of the strip, you can't go wrong, especially for the price. This place is a well kept secret of the strip. Read more
"Please clean the carpet at least a decade!"
The Jockey Club is located directly behind the Cosmopolitan. Very strange location but great access to the Strip. The Jockey Club is a privately own timeshare type property that date back to the 1970s. But they have done an "facelift". However, there are still tell tell signs of the dated hotel of the 70s, including the popcorn ceiling! The value for […] the money when you consider the accessibilty to the strip and a room with a full kitchen can not be debated. But, the carpet in the room we stayed in was horrible. I would not let my kids take their shoes off! I would gladly pay an additional amount 100 a night for a clean room. If you need a room with a little more space than a standard room, equipped with full kitchen, on the strip, for a very economical price then the Jockey Club is for you......just bring your flip flops! "Taxi or car only"
This hotel is too far to walk to any places on the strip except The Cosmopolitan if you aren't use to walking alot. Expensive food in The Cosmopolitan, no cafe in hotel. You have to take a taxi or drive a car to get around town.
"Great Location..."
Other than being a little dated...this hotel is in a great location, great service, clean and comfortable!

"great location, quiet building. in need of updatin"
In the center of the strip and dwarfed by the cosmopolitian which surrounds it. We found this good value for the money. Room decor a bit old. Hallways and elevator from the 80's. But buikding was quiet and was a good get away from the noise and chaos of Vegas.
"The Jockey Club - Las Vegas"
My partner and I stayed here for 8 nights in Feb 2012. Ideal location but thats about it. The standard of the room we received was terrible. Checkin staff did say that the room we had was privately owned and not one of their own rooms. The general standard was very tatty, with holes in the carpet. Both of us had numerous bites on our legs, arms and […] neck - either bed bugs or bugs in the carpet. After the 8 nights, we checked out and went to Bally's for one night and that was a huge improvement. Tip - If staying here, make sure you get a room which the hotel owns. All these rooms are far nicer and have recently been renovated. Privately owned rooms are all different as individual owners have different standards!!! Read more

"Highly recommended for big groups"
Pros: Let us check-in early. There is lots of room. Full-size refrigerator. Two bathrooms. Really comfortable beds. Affordable. Connected to Cosmopolitan by an elevator. Cons: View of Cosmo's parking lot.
"Great Location"
The Jockey Club is in a great location, between the Bellagio and the Cosmopolitan and across the street from Planet Hollywood. The rooms are nice with well-equipped kitchens and granite countertops. I was never in one of the "redone" units so the furnishings were a bit worn but still very comfortable. The downside is that half the hotel now faces the […] wall of the Cosmo, so all the rooms on that side have only a view of a wall and they are very dark. I was first assigned one of those rooms and had to call Hotels.com to have them intervene and get me moved. The front desk said they couldn't do it -- Hotels.com had to? The Jockey Club is also a timeshare, so probably the best rooms go to their members and those who are there to listen to their pitch. The front desk and staff are very helpful and nice, and once I had a window that let in some light, I totally enjoyed my stay. Read more
"Jockey Club on the Vegas Strip!"
This is an excellent place to stay when in Vegas, for a great price. We managed to get a room facing the Bellagio fountains! With the addition of the casino next door, one can easily get there through the pool elevator. The building can use a good window washing, but other then that, the location, price and amendities are hard to beat.
Renovation on the floor where we were was ongoing. The hallways were dusty, and we were the only one open room on that entire floor. Who knows if the air quality was good. Had we known this was the condition, we wouldn't have booked. We arrived at night, and because of the construction we spent almost an hour looking for the entrance from where we parked. […] When I called at past 9PM to complain, the office was already closed at 8 PM. Worst nightmare. Read more

"Jockey Club Las Vegas"
Great location. Staff very helpful. Currently renovating one building. Complimentary use of The Cosmopolitan Hotel pool turned out to be a hassel as there was only one pool avaiable and very hard to get a lounge chair .
"Good Location Under Construction"
The hotel is right on the strip surrounded by the Cosmopolitan and right next to the Bellagio. A great location and cheap for being located on the strip, but it does come with some drawbacks. The hotel is currently going some major renovations so construction can be heard through out the hotel some times starting as early as 7am. The rooms have outdated […] furnishings, but are remarkably spacious and comfortable, which helped with a party of five. The Pool area probably does not get much sun as the hotel is engulfed by the towering Cosmopolitan which also limits the views available in most rooms. You are saving compared to other hotels on the strip, but if you are looking to spend late mornings in bed and want something more pleasing to the eye, look elsewhere. Read more
"25th Wedding Anniversary Get-Away"
The room was a great size and had all the conviniences we needed and the bed was very comfortable with nice pillows and blankets. The overall stay was good, however, the desk girl gave out wrong information on scheduled for buses that was not good. The couches in our room were filthy and in need of replacement. The pool was a huge dissapointment considering […] the weather was so beautiful. It is in the shade all day and was very small. Improving the pool would be a huge benefit to people staying there. Everyone wants to get cooled off and enjoy the sun at the same time and this location does not allow that. Read more

This hotel is under construction. It was very dirty and dusty. The rooms had garbage left behind and not very clean. I would rate it a one STAR!

"Old, but good location"
Worn furniture and fixtures indicate that this property has passed its prime. Although their website shows a view of the Bellagio fountains, a view of the Cosmopolitan wall is all that is available from many (all?) southern-facing rooms. It's a great location on the strip and spacious since the property was built some time ago. Do not be fooled about […] the "raffle ticket" at check-in. They are simply anxious to push their timeshare presentation. Read more
"Great stay"
Stayed at the Jockey Suites for four nights and couldn't have been more pleased. We had plenty of room to spread out and it was very quiet. Loved the location and the closeness to the strip. Also liked the access to the Cosmopolitan by way of the Jockey Suites elevator. Everyone we dealt with there was very friendly and helpful. The only complaint […] I have is that the elevator was very hard to find from the garage the first time we looked for it. If we hadn't had the help of some very nice people who were also staying there we might still be wandering around the garage looking for the elevator. The sign is so small you can't see it until you are right in front of it. If there was just a bigger sign it would make things a lot easier. Read more

"Jockey Club - Las Vegas"
So my friends and I were looking for a hotel that would be spacious for all of us and Jockey Club fit that description. It was also conveniently located at the center of the strip (right in between Cosmopolitan and Bellagio) and was rather inexpensive. Pros: kitchen, fridge, connected to Cosmopolitan, center of the strip, inexpensive, 2 bedroom, 3 […] beds, and a sofabed, clean rooms, wireless internet, no resort fee, able to go to the pool at the Cosmopolitan Cons: The outside of the hotel was dirty, looked shady, no lcd tv's (they have the old school crt televisions), bad view, no extended checkout, the ice machine was an inconvenience. Overall, it was satisfactory and a decent place to stay with a group of friends who are on a budget. Read more
"Love the Jocky Club"
I've been going to this property for years. They are now updating/remodeling all of the rooms with new LCD TVs and more modern decor. The size and quality of the rooms is unbeatable for the price and the location is the best on the strip. Ok, so it doesn't have a casino or room service; so what? Now you can go through a door that takes you to the Cosmopolitan […] next door or take a short walk the other direction to the Bellagio. Read more
"Jockey Club Review"
Overall, I would say that the Jockey Club is a 3 star hotel. I stayed in the Derby Tower, and had to take two elevators to get to my room. One of which, was broken down for a couple of hours. Besides the distance from the entrance of the hotel to my room, I would have to say that you couldn't beat the quality for the price.
"JOCKEY CLUB"
They tell you that your will get a view of the water show at the Bellagio. They lie. We got a veiw of a gray wall. The pool is heated but they need to scrub the stairs in the pool. They were brown. For the price you pay you can stay and a nicer hotel. The good part is that the room is big and the kitchen was nice. The bathroom is a little small.
"short vacationer"
The Jockey Club in Las Vegas - good location, nice rooms, great fitness room and pool. Third visit, would stay there again.
"Jockey Club- Las Vegas"
What a rat's maze to find our room. It's tucked on the side/back of another hotel, with no clear way to access it. We had to go thru the casino of the larger frontside hotel, the Cosmopolitan, just to get to it. And there were NO SIGNS, anywhere. Twice, we had to get someone from the cosmo casino floor to show us the "secret elevator" to access the […] Jockey Pool area, which then required a keycard to get into the Jockey Hotel itself. Finding the free "B3" parking garage from the hotel was almost as challenging: take the elevator down 3 floors, go down a hallway, take the stairs down to the right, down another longer hallway, take another elevator down 1 more flight, then route yourself thru the receiving area of the Cosmo hotel, go thru a steel door to another elevator, but don't take the elevator, but instead go thru to the next steel door to the parking area. Again, NO SIGNAGE! If my review sounds dramatic, then I have succeeded. A fun trip to Vegas should not be dampened by difficulty in finding your room. Read more

"Jockey Resort Suites Center Strip"
I had a pleasant time staying at the Jockey Resort Suites Center Strip. I would definitely stay here again. It was much roomier than I had expected, and they were even nice enough to have a couple of ice cube trays ready for my friend and I in the freezer.
"A small gem between the big diamonds"
I stayed at the Jockey Club for the first of my four nights in Las Vegas for an industry conference. Since I'm an independent consultant, I was in need of a way to save a little money instead of paying the much higher rate of rooms at The Cosmopolitan where the meetings were being held. Had I known how easy and convenient the access between them is, […] I'd have stayed all 4 nights of the trip. Yes, the rooms are showing signs of their age and could use new furniture to replace what has been scarred from many years of use, but everything was fully functional and met my needs. Since I wasn't there for sightseeing, the fact that my room faced the wall of The Cosmopolitan was not a concern to me and assured that the bedroom would be quiet... which is not something every room along The Strip can boast about. Make sure you ask at the front desk where to access the elevators to The Cosmopolitan and once you have done that, you'll really appreciate the value this property delivers. It's almost easier to get from the Jockey Club to parts of The Cosmopolitan's casino, restaurants, clubs and shops than if you are staying in one of its own rooms. Since you are in the middle of The Strip, a walk of one block gets you to City Center, Bellagio, Caesar's Palace, Planet Hollywood and Paris Hotel among others. And the monorail station behind Paris & Bally's can take you within a couple of blocks of just about anything else on The Strip. If the weather is good and you can stand the never-ending teams of solicitors trying to interest you in escort services (just say "No" firmly and most will turn to the next person), the people watching opportunities on the sidewalk are quite entertaining on their own. "Fountain Splendor"
We had the good fortune of staying on the penthouse floor in a room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Bellagio fountains. The scenery each evening was beautiful. The layout and accessibility to the rooms were very nice and large. It is a little dated but very comfortable. There were nice kitchen tools and the housekeeping and front desk […] were very accommodating. If give the opportunity to stay here again we would jump both feet on it. The only issue was the valet parking. We had an issue one time and the fact we had to leave and return every day for a week became pricey for tips, but worth it. Read more
"Great experience"
The location and accomodations were great! The suite was very clean and spacious. We would certainly stay here again.
"Awesome stay"
Jockey suites for really convinient as it is right in the center of the strip and because of the kitchens it was really helpful for my aged parents. The only complaint would be about the really slow Valet parking due to the construction of the Cosmopolitan. But since that is almost completed, hopefully this should be resolved soon.

"Best Value for Your Buck on the Strip"
There is nothing bad about this hotel. It is right next door to the Bellagio, and for the price that those people are paying per night, you are getting twice the space. My flight arrived early (before noon), and the front desk was able to check me in with no problems. I was checked in, literally, within a matter of minutes. The walk to my room was a […] bity annoying (had to take 2 different elevators), but why complain about much-needed exercise? I was delighted to walk into a large, clean room with a full kitchen, dining room table, seperate living room with comfy couches, and a seperate, very large bedroom with a very comfortable bed and a huge walk-in closet. Extra pillows and comforter are given for use with the pull-out sofa bed in the living room. Both living room and bedroom had TV's and the living room had a radio and DVD player, which is nice to have when getting ready to go out. My friend who stayed at the Bellagio said she didn't even get a blow-dryer. This place is really a gem amongst these over-priced gigantic hotels in las vegas where you must walk through the casino and millions of people to get to your room. I will stay here from now on whenever I visit. There was some construction going on outside and by the pool, but it didn't affect my stay in anyway. Read more

This place is great! Great price, Great location, and Great enviroment!!!
"Summer Bay Rsort - unfriendly desk staff"
The air conditioning in our apartment didn't work. We didn't notice it until we came back from the Strip at 11 p.m.and couldn't do anythin about it. It is warm in Vegas in August! Strange that housekeeping doesn't check that everything works before a flat is rented! The desk staff was very unhelpful and unfriendly about it. The resort is far from […] the Strip Ther is one shuttle per hour. It works well, is on time.... but it is not very practical. The resort is now under construcion. Read more
"Make sure it fits your style"
This hotel is a rented out timeshared condo. Lots of space, a suite, suitable for 5 people with kitchen. However, there is no self parking and the valet retrieval in the morning takes quite a long time (about 45 minutes). There is also no casino. The location is great, right on the strip, next to the Bellagio.
