Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 24, 2009
Obviously by the nature of the name, you should have the idea going into things that this is a timeshare first and a hotel second. While the hotel was not a bad place to stay, it really felt like a timeshare that was desperate to sell every last room...almost as if there were a tension in the air about that fact. As far as the room, I think it really could have used about another 2 feet in width to avoid a crunched feeling. And my most important aspect - the bed and it's comfort...don't have terribly high expectations. Comfortable, but disappointing for the rest of the hotel.

Was very pleased all the way around. Staff was friendly, and the room was clean and accommodating. I liked the fact that there is no casino on sight, as I felt it was more quiet and less people traffic in the whole hotel area. The pool area was very adequate, with nice landscaping and plenty of seating for all guests. Will stay here again ..

Is great place to stay if you are looking for some kind of peace and quiet in Vegas this is the place. You will feel more like a nice vacation resort if you dont like the Casino atmosphere inside a hotel. Also, is great for families. Where children are welcome and parents wont feel on high alert in keeping their little ones away from the casino scene. Is an excellent hotel for relaxation and quiet moments.

The Hilton staff demeanor was excellent - everyone was friendly and followed through on any requests that we had. The only down sides were the concierge and the spa - the concierge staff was very friendly, just not good with follow through and not a lot of deals to offer. The spa environment was very relaxing, everyone was friendly, but the quality of service was not very high for the price and I felt like they were "selling" too frequently. Other than that, the location is fine, cab rides to mid-strip not expensive, the CVS right down the block had inexpensive products and the stay was very relaxing.

I was very pleased with my stay at the Hilton. It was very clean, the pool was well maintained, and the staff was extremely friendly. It is also a non-gaming hotel, so it was nice to get away from the casino atmosphere at the end of the day. My only negative comment is that you have to pay to park at the hotel's parking garage. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay there, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to other.

I would suggest, as do many of the other hotels such as the Ritz Carlton and other Hilton properties across the US - that printing the boarding passes be a much easier feat than it is at present. Also - shouldn't even consider charging for the computers. The computer would not work, then it tried to charge me to print the boarding passes. My only other option was to go to the front desk, which was jammed at all times. And, couldn't go to concierge for assistance either. Other than that - stay was very enjoyable.

The hotel itself was nice with the following exceptions: 1. The parking structure is very far from the hotel requiring a long walk and the guest are restricted from parking below Level 4. Inconvenient 2. I was there 10 minutes before the cable was shut off for the entire night. 3. A DVD player was provided in the room, but no instructions were provided and accidentally figured out how to change the TV mode to DVD. 4. THe walls are paper-thin. I could clearly here my neighbor having a phone conversation in normal tone voice. This hotel was subpar, not something I would have associated with the Hilton name.

Studios have all necessary items for storing (cupboards, sm. frige & freezer, heating (microwave)and eating food (flatware, dishes, glasses, table) bought elsewhere which is very convenient. Deli in lobby opens at 5AM. Nice upscale decorating touches (marble, silvery tones), & fluffy towels) all for a lower end cost for the days we were there. Good security personnel, attended self-parking garage, friendly staff. Some issues with the lock and the door sticking which required security help the first time, then we learned to open it. (We didn't ask for an alternate room.)

The hotel was well beyond my expectation. The only problem was the one bed. It was a king. Other than that, the room was well cared for. The staff was always friendly. The cleaning lady was always there to give you fresh linens and any other items you needed. Sometimes they came while I was sleeping, but all you had to do was tell them when to come and sure enough they would be back. The pool was clean, plenty of fresh towels, lifeguards, and toys. There's activities for children as well as adults. A shuttle will run you to the Wynn free of charge btw 9 and 9 (i think). From there you will be on the main walk and can go where ever. Ice machine and vending machine on every floor. beautiful views if you stay on a high floor. It was a little walk to all the main attractions. Located right near the Riviera and the Sahara. A cab could run you $20 w/tip if there's traffic and $10 w/tip if no traffic. Overall...GREAT stay. I loved it.

This a very nice hotel. The self parking structure is an issue having to go up four levels to self park. The first four levels are for valet parking. There is still construction being done but overall the hotel, room and customer service was very good. The room rates were a bit high but not unreasonable. I went on a weekend and it seemed somewhat empty to me. Everytime I took the elevator, I was the only one getting in and out of it. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I'd stay there again.
