"They should call it the A...."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
For the price paid this hotel is totally worth the money. Free breakfast and no resort fees! Location right on fremont. Hotel staff were very nice compared to some higher priced hotels. Front desk was friendly at check in. Valet guys were nice. Breakfast was awesome. Room was a little dated and tired but for the rate paid it was clean, quiet and safe.
"Great Price, Poor Hotel Upkeep"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
The room was a steal at the price, and it was right on the strip. Only complaints /i had were poor lobby lay-out (had to ask where the check in desk was) and poor room and elevator maintenance, the elevators shook so bad i thought we could plunge to the bottom at any moment.

Glittering, larger-than-life gambling palaces dominate Las Vegas Boulevard South, better known as The Strip. Here, hotels are destinations unto themselves. Within a three-mile stretch, visitors can see the New York City skyline, the Eiffel Tower, an Egyptian pyramid, imperial Rome, a dancing fountain, and an exploding volcano. My wife booked The Palazzo for my 70th birthday. We had never stayed at this hotel, but would go back at anytime. The hotel is immaculate and the help is outstanding. Our room was one of the nicest we have ever stayed in.

"Overall"
The hotel was good/did not like to having to walk through the casino with the smoke that was awlful...And the convention side once inside of the convention only one bathroom for women for such a big convention room that i would change for sure...when you have over 3,000 people and you have to walk all the way outside which was way down and you are on […] a short break not good Read more
"Palazzo Las Vegas-Great Stay"
My stay at Palazzo was awesome! The staff were all very nice and helpful from early check in to late check out. Concierge was very nice with accommodations to night clubs. "Below average experience"
I've been to Vegas at least 30 times. I've stayed almost everywhere. This by far was the most underwhelming experience I've had. Thankfully it's attached to the Venetian which offers great restaurants, and shopping, and it's near one of my personal favs The Wynn. Anyway, if you're looking for good service, luxury top end style and decor, great pool […] scene, etc... I suggest you look elsewhere. Read more

"Nicest hotel on the Strip"
I travel to Las Vegas for conventions at least once per year and have stayed at pretty much all of the hotels on the strip, I would say the Palazzo is the very best hotel I have stayed at. The room was huge and the view is outstanding. Every conveience is covered, from toiletries you may need to a printer/ fax machine in the room. Check in was a breeze […] and the staff was extremely friendly and always addresses you by your name. The location could not have been better since the Sands Convention Center was connected to the hotel, I never even had to leave the building unless I wanted to. Read more

"Excellent Customer Service"
The hotel is one of the priciest on the strip, but you the difference is notable. The service, politeness, and professionalism of the entire staff was great.
"Hotel Palazzo"
the suite was beautiful with friendly service! the pools and restaurants are amazing! We also had a great time at club LAVO. i will be staying here on a regular basis and highly recommend it!!!!!
"The Palazzo Las Vegas"
Beautifull rooms very spacious and clean
"Palazzo Hotel - Las Vegas"
This was my third time staying here while on a Vegas trip. This hotel spoils me (I have stayed at the Venetian before as well). The rooms are huge, modern and plush. The pool area is beautiful as well, and the hotel is right on the strip. The Walgreens that is attached is icing on the cake. We were able to buy snacks, booze, etc which helped keep some […] other costs down. Yes, it's pricier than others, but if you have four to a room it's reasonable. I love staying at this hotel. "Perfect"
The Palazzo is part of the Venetian and you share the 'indoors' the location is perfect, the staff is friendly and extremely helpful and you can tell they like their jobs. "Fantabulous Stay"
The suite experience with Palazzo is awesome. The suite have each and every facility that I was looking for and its in the heart of Vegas Strip... I enjoyed my stay at Palazzo and I miss it even after weeks.
"The Palazzo Hotel & Casino Las Vegas"
Very clean, great service, good location, friendly staff. Definitely recommend this hotel - I go to Vegas 7-9 times every year and I have stayed pretty much everywhere.
"Great room"
So much space in the room. The lay out is great and so comfortable. Only problem is it's Vegas and when do you really spend that much time in the room. Our get a way was a romantic one, so spending more time in the room worked really nice. First time staying at the Palazzo, wouldn't hesitate to come back again!

This hotel is very beautiful....My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are amazing and the hotel staff was very friendly. We will visit this hotel again!!!!
"Amazing suites"
The Palazzo is definitely one of the nicest, classiest hotels in Vegas. We got a free upgrade to an amazing 1,200 sq ft suite, though the standard 600 sq ft suites are also incredible. We'll be back!

"The Palazzo-very nice"
The hotel was wonderful... the group I was with kind of hotel hopped... so out of the 3... The Palazzo was the most elegant... The Planet Rock was a good party place and The Paris was just ok...
"palazzo hotel"
Excellent service throughout hotel, very helpful staff and great choice of upscale dining. One of the newer hotels maintained to the highest quality. Large upscale suite rooms. Would stay again.

"Spacious Rooms"
The rooms were very spacious, modern and comfortable. The pictures on line do not do the rooms justice. The only complaints I have are no coffee pots in the room and the mini bar is weight sensitive so if you move anything, you are charged. There are mini bar items out in the open so if you have young children be careful they do not grab an item or […] you'll be charged. The strip view is very limited. You can see Trump, Treasure Island and the Mirage and the mountains. You will not see a lit up view of the Strip...you may want to save your money. The restaurants in The Palazzo and the neighboring Venitian are excellent. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. Read more
"Disappointing"
I had to wait over an hour before my room was ready and then only got my room after calling to complain. For a top hotel charging top prices I expect more.

"FIRST TIME BEING ROBBED in VEGAS!"
Went to the night club here called "lavo" with a few friends. I dropped a few hundred dollars on ground while paying for drink, and immediately the bar-back raced in and grabbed the money before I could pick it up. I of course immediately asked for it back, to which he gives me a dumb look. I asked again, even offering to let him keep half, to which […] he starts flashing a light on me. Within a few moments, I'm being brought to the back room where I felt very threatened. After telling my story to security, I was told "I couldn't touch employees and that I'd have to be removed.” I complained at the front desk the next day. Manager said the most he could do was let me file a complaint with Lavo security...the same ones that escorted me to the back room! HA! I'm fairly well established, and was well dressed throughout, so heed my warning: this can happen to ANYONE. I'm considering taking this farther up the chain...in the mean time DO NOT STAY HERE Read more
"Las Vegas Palazzo"

"The Palazzo in Las Vegas, NV"
My wife & I went on a little romantic gateaway & this was a great place to go. Very nice room with the separate living area, centrally located to shopping, dining. We didn't get a chance to visit the nite club that is located inside the casino, but will defenately do next time. Very comfy bed slept very well. Overall everything was great.
"Great Stay!"
I went to the Palazzo over the holidays with my wife and in-laws. The rooms impressed everyone, and we almost didn't want to go anywhere outside. It was superlative. The gym totally rocks, and I loved that they did not charge for gym use (included in the resort fee). Internet was also included in the resort fee. Very refreshing for Vegas. I gave the […] service a 4 only because SOME of the staff members seemed a bit disinterested in helping. Most of them were great, however. We will probably make this our Vegas staple whenever we visit. Read more
"The Plazzo Resort and Casino - Great Location"
Impressive hotel. Great location. Overall good experience, one of the top 5 nicest hotels in Vegas. Had to ask for a new room, carpet wasn't clean. Carpet wasn't clean in the second room either. Besides cleanliness good experience. Prefer Encore, or Wynn. Nicer room last stay in the Venetian tower.
"Palazzo"
The Palazzo is a very nice hotel and I would definitely stay there again. I tried 4 different restaurants and all of them were good and there is plenty to do and see. The room that I stayed at was very nice and was very large. My only negative comment is that I saw a few different things that needed repair, both in the room and out by the pool. For […] a nice hotel, this was a bit of a surprise. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again. Read more
"Great Hotel with assembly line spa"
Registration was fast and efficient. Maid service was excellent. Hotel room was comfy, Morel's restaurant was so yummy, and the spa was disappointing (it felt like I was on a conveyor belt and it was huge and impersonal.... Mandarin is still the best spa in my book in Vegas). Slots were tight (at least for me) and table minimums were high. Room service […] was very good. Read more

"Great location, OK service"
Perfectly situated on the Strip, amazing suite. Great views and furniture. We even received vouchers. However, when we tried to redeem the vouchers, we had some issues. The spa wouldn't redeem the $40 voucher, saying it wasn't valid on the weekend. And advertised rates are weekday rates, which are higher on the weekends. Also, we were hit with a $54 […] resort fee when we checked out. Overall a nice choice, but the nickel and dime games will keep me away next time. Read more
"Palazzo is amazing, my favorite place so far!"
The room was extravagant, yet not too expensive for what you get. Room service was great, even though the hotel was extremely busy they got everything I ordered to me quickly and were very friendly. The casino was very open and spacious, which I really enjoyed. The restaurants i ate at here were delicious. I have nothing bad to say about this place. […] The interior is beautiful. I would stay here every time I go if i didn't want to try new spots also. Read more
