Price and location were right. Grounds and maintainance inside and out were above average....flowers blooming everywhere! Front desk friendly and efficient. Room spacious and well appointed with 2 Q beds and new, big, flat screen TV (room 301). Towels were not lush, but there were 4 of them, so no issues!

This is a good choice if North Vancouver is your destination. Lots of shopping and eating in the market below the hotel, which is also where the parking is located. The more upscale and higher priced rooms get you further out towards the water, which can be worth it in terms of quiet and view.

Hotel was very clean and new. Hotel is in middle of Chinatown so you won't see many chain restaurants or food other than very traditional Asian.

"Hotel Loden Vancouver - great location"
Excellent location, updated hotel, staff was very good to work with. The only downside was the bed was a bit soft on one side and the pillows were very soft. I asked for a firm pillow but they had none. Outside of that it was well worth the price. Close to the water, shopping, excellent food, Stanley Park and Gastown I would recommend.

This is a gem of a hotel. The location is really convenient. It's within walking distance to most places in downtown that you would want to go to. The rooms are really nice and the bathrooms are beautiful. I used the gym which is top quality for a hotel of its size. Great treadmills, bikes and a rower to go along with a wide array of weights and cable […] machines. I will say though that I stayed at this hotel previously over a year ago and you used to get an a la carte menu for breakfast and the food was nice. This time the breakfast was a really small buffet with no a la carte options. I dont like to be harsh, but the buffet is crap and expensive. "Loden Service with a smile"
Youthful but professional staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Tableu restaurant is very good and a better value than some upscale hotels like Georgia and Fairmont Vancouver. Quiet rooms.

The hotel was great, very modern and clean. The staff were very professional, and quite young, fitting with the up-and-coming nature of the hotel. "Distinguished Hotel well worth the money"

We only stayed one night but we were very impressed by this hotel. It's everything that was shown in the pictures and more. They took the time to show us all the features of the room (even how to use the heater/air conditioner) too. We had dinner in the restaurant and although service was a bit slow, the food was well worth the wait. You need to try […] the artichoke crab dip since it's delicious! They even offered to take us at no charge to our cruise ship the next morning in their own Londen cab that they have. That was the icing on the cake and we will definately be back! Read more

This is an exceptional boutique hotel located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Room was spacious and luxurious. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Willing to do whatever we needed to make our stay an outstanding one. Hotel has two complimentary cruiser bikes for guest check out and use. This was a great way to tour the city.

This hotel was amazing. The rooms were small but still roomy, the bed was fabulously comfy, and the sliding wall to let natural light into the bathroom was a definite plus. Nice big bathroom with a large shower and soaking tub, separate toilet closet definitely appreciated. The hotel staff was beyond friendly and helpful, we would go back again in a […] heartbeat. The only cons are no ice machines (you have to call to have ice brought up), no coffee maker in room, and breakfast at the restaurant although good is expensive. However, they have coffee in the lobby in the mornings, and there are at least 5 breakfast/coffee shop type places within a block for less expensive breakfast. The hotel itself is not cheap, but we took advantage of the 35% off summer sale. We'd be glad to go back even at full price though, we really enjoyed our experience. Read more

"First Class Hotel"
This was a great spot to stay in Vancouver. The staff was wonderful and even provided us with two bikes to ride around Stanley Park. It is in a good location, only a few blocks from some great shopping and food.

"Wonderful Hotel, but not quite 5 star..."
Loved everything about this hotel, except the bed was not very comfortable and the air conditioning was hit or miss. The automated system decided arbitrarily whether to spit out hot air or cool air. "Swanky hotel in great location"
Nice modern new hotel in downtown area. Only a few minutes walk to main shopping area, next door to Starbucks and a few cafes. Clean rooms with modern facilities, free broadband and Molton Brown products in bathroom. Maids were a little inconsistant, one day we had a shower cap, next day we didn't, 2 days we didn't get a bathmat and one day a wet cleaning […] rag was left on top of my clothes which left them wet and smelly. Good gym with complimentary apples and bottled water, not sure why they charge you for the water from the mini bar though when you can get it free in the gym. Lobby is small and staff always notice you coming and going which is a bit too much sometimes. The hotel offers free bike rentals for 3 hours and free taxi service within the downtown area which is great. They dont offer you any of this though, it was just that we read it in the room directory. Felt that the concierge could have told us about the bikes when we asked how to get to stanley park etc. Read more
"Stylish Comfort"
I believe that this is a new location, but it will become my standard for Vancouver. I've stayed at a number of the name locations in the city, but this is the nicest by far. Extremely nice and highly styled rooms and common areas; great location; very friendly and helpful staff although bell service and valet seem understaffed. A gem.
