Just too far out from the cruise port. Cab was $50. Hotel was helpful in getting us back our IPad that we left in the lobby while loading our luggage in the cab.Hotel workers were very helpful and accommodating.

The place was nice, the room was nice and clean, the people were nice and the price was nice. Very easy to get to and from downtown New Orleans. The surrounding neighborhoods not so nice but no real inconvenience. Would stay again!!!

The bathroom was not clean when we arrived (hair was everywhere) and the elevator did not work either. We had to haul our luggage up the stairs and all the way down the hall. They had a nice continental breakfast. I loved the waffle. Although the beginning was not great, the ending turned out okay.

Our 2 night stay there was generally good. The rooms were a little worn but OK. The lamp fixtures needed to be replaced due to shades that were torn. Both bulbs were missing from one lamp so had to move one from the other lamp to have a light on one side of the bed. Breakfast was very adequate but the same as about every other hotel. The only "bad" […] thing that happened was that the only elevator was out of service the morning we were to leave. The elevator repairman was scheduled to be there by 10 AM but who knew when or if it would be fixed. We needed to leave before that. We had 2 rooms on the second floor. Two of our group had mobility issues and could not carry luggage. Two of us women carried the heavy luggage, heavy medical equipment and supplies down the stairs. The registration person did offer to carry everything down, but she was the only one on duty and would have had to leave the front desk and phone system unattended. That did not seem appropriate so we did not accept her offer. They should have called in another person to assist the guests. Read more

Great overall experience. Pretty decent breakfast. If you drive it's not too far from Bourban street. My only complaint is that the gym had only one exercise bike with a broken pedal. It's not that much of a big deal though.

Seemed to be a new hotel. Everything was clean and shiny. Friendly staff. Room was nice and big. Double Queen beds were very comfortable. Large bathroom. Not the best area to be in, but had no problems. Close to where we needed to be.

Yes, I am a REAL customer. I booked my room pretty early online, so there really wasn't any fuss with the check-in or out. My trip to New Orleans was very long and tiresome, and I was pleased to find that my room was very clean, and comfortable. (I wish I could have taken that bed with me!) The rates were pretty cheap also, which made me even happier. […] One thing that I disliked was the breakfast. I couldn't seem to wake up early enough to attend (5am-9am), and when I finally did there wasn't much of a selection. Was not happy to find the motel was booked as a Sleep Inn. However it is now a Baymont. Generally the motel appeared to be a worn motel that had seen better days and was bought out by another chain without any repairs or upgrades.

Here's a tip, drinking construction workers in the lobby of your hotel is not a good thing for your guest to see right off the bat. Nice Hotel for the price. The only complaint that I have is that, I left the hotel at 7am in the morning and returned at 2pm to relax, only to discover that the room had still not been cleaned. The maid service did not arrive until 3pm. I had to leave the room and then return 20 minutes later.

The room was booked for 4 people and when we got there there were no spare sheets for the sofa bed and not enough bath towels and wash rags. The shower head barely worked in the bath room. There was no tub which was a huge problems since I booked saying I had a 1 yr old and a 2 year old. I had to give my 1 year old a bath in the sink. Entering and exiting […] the parking lot was a hastle at night since the hotel let buses park on the side of the street. We almost got hit trying to go get dinner. When we said somthing to the staff they said go find another hotel we are not having the buses moved. Needless to say when we go back next year for the festival we will not be using this hotel again. Stayed for 2 weeks. Excellent stay for the length of time and price. The extended stay hotels don't have daily maid service, but for a few dollars more this one does. The hotel is reasonably clean and comfortable.
