This is less a motel and more of a low budget apartment. We got it for the price and the ability to cook. The lighting was dim and 1/2 the equipment in the exercise center didn't function. The front desk was only staffed during the day. They wouldn't give me an extra bath towel and couldn't find a bar of soap for me. DO NOT STAY HERE! I booked this room at the last minute when I couldn't find anything else. I only needed it for a short overnight before heading to the airport. I checked-in while an extremely intoxicated man was being wheeled out of the hotel by paramedics and the police. The hotel and my room smelled horrible. They said my room was their last room […] available and it was a smoking room - yuck. I also smelled marijuana smoke and booze in the hallway. The hotel was in a great location for our plans while in Denver. I was disappointed with the lack of coffee that was not provided with the in room coffee maker. No ice machine was a real downer, especially since the temperature was in the triple digits. A mirror in the sleeping area would have been every helpful. May I suggest a TV upgrade.

Didn't stay in the room to much. Had some issues with the Internet and couldn't get anyone at the hotel to answer. For the money it was ok. pretty much a full kitchen, and dishsoap! but you have to bring your own coffee. On a budget it's a good choice. Can only enter hotel going south on Sheridan FYI.

I had a one night stay at the Savannah Suites in Arvada and I wish I had never booked here. The check in process was simple enough and I was given the keys to my room. When I got in the room, this first thing I noticed was that the bed was really squeaky, I didn't think much of it because I could normally sleep through it. I woke up during the night […] to use the restroom and when I walked in, I was greeted by a dead bug in the toilet. I ignored the bug and went back to sleep because I only had a few more hours left in my stay. When I got up to take a shower, I got into the shower and as I started opening up the shower curtain, I noticed that the previous guests wash cloth was still hanging on the inside of the shower curtain adorned with "short and curly" hairs and all. At this point I tried to finish my shower as quick as I could and started wondering how clean my room really was. I refused to touch anything in the room after that incident and left the hotel as quick as I could. Never again will I stay at this hotel or any other locations they may have. Read more

It is a very good location, unfortunately the rooms are outdated, dirty and you can hear everything that goes next door and upstairs. the front desk has a bad service and it wasn't even open at check out time 7.30am when I had to go. terrible place. it was more like a motel room rather than a suite or hotel room.

Savannah Suites is a nice, quiet, clean hotel with friendly staff. There are not a ridiculous amount of commodities, but ther is enough in the surrounding area to keep a traveler busy. There is plenty of parking, the grounds are pretty and everything was clean.

The hotel had a funny odor to it. It smelled like a strong lemon or orange cleaner trying to cover up a smoke or other odor. We needed an extra blanket and there was nothing extra in the room and when I went to request one, the front desk closed by 10:00 or 10:30. There was another guest trying to help me & took me to an open door where a hotel employee […] was and when we told her we needed something she told us to call some number and slammed the door on us!! There is no lobby, just a front desk which as I said, closes early. We are also concerned of bed bugs because we came home with bites of some sort on our bodies...the whole family!! It's a nice clean hotel, but minor details hold it back from being a great overnight hotel. The internet was not set up, when we got into our rooms we did not have pillows. If the owners would put just a little more effort into the hotel it would be a great hotel. Even with these minor details I would stay again.

It should have probably tipped me off that housekeeping is not a priority when I found the half bottle of vodka and half eaten carton of ice cream in the freezer that had been left by a previous guest. When I returned the first day I found that my room had not been cleaned and I did not have fresh towels. When I let them know I had been missed they […] informed me that they did not provide maid services until you checked out. I was expected to use the same towels for my entire stay. If I pay for each nights stay shouldn't my room be cleaned each day of my stay. Also, you can only exit the motel to the south and enter it from the north. There is not an easy way to get turned around if you are coming from the south so that you can approach from the north and enter the parking lot. It was a decent budget motel type facility. Front desk closed before 11 pm. Didn't have the room type I ordered (king, non-smoking). Gave me the stickiest smoking queen I've ever been in! I have stayed here several times and my only complaint is that the people above seem to keep late hours. I was up until 3:00 a.m. with running, slamming doors and dropping items on the floor, which sounded like they were going to fall into my room. Next time, I will ask for a top floor room.

This is a great hotel for the price and worked well for our location. The only issue we had was with the room we had due to it being next to the elevator shaft. I would assume that all rooms adjacent to the shaft would have this issue. We stayed in Room 115 and each time someone used the elevator we could really hear the motors.
