Very clean and nice location to get around west Des Moines. Only problem was at 8:00 someone put there card in our door slot and the door actually opened. room was nice, bathroom a little too small. Breakfast area is way too small and breakfast items leave a lot to be desired. Went and ate breakfast out both days we were there. There were several sports teams staying and the breakfast area was no where near big enough to accommodate people.

I stayed here because I got a sale price - but it wouldn't have been worth it at the regular price. The pool was small and the breakfast was modest - no waffles or hot foods. But everyone was friendly, the room was comfortable and quiet, and the hotel was easy to find.

We were there 7 days visiting family. The only downside was that, as other reviewers have stated, the room is smaller than it appears on the website. However, it was very comfortable and the service was excellent. I would recommend it to others.

Be prepared for lots of families with small children. The continental breakfast could have added hard boiled eggs and vegetable juice for our preference but was more varied and interesting than some. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

The main beds were comfortable but the pullout couch was not very easy to sleep on. Definitely pretty old. The first thing a person smelled was urine in front of the bathroom sink on the carpet and in the main bathroom. Thought it was spacious enough and had a nice kichenette though. The staff were also very friendly.

Very nice place. Clean, quiet, modern, and well-staffed. Breakfast was great. I'd highly recommend this place. The only thing negative I could say was that they accept pets and we could hear a little yappy dog barking once in a while.

Overall this hotel did fairly well. However, our biggest complaint was that the room seemed much bigger on the video we saw online when we were shopping for a hotel than in actuality. We were shocked at the size when we entered our room. We were very disappointed since we knew that other hotels had more spacious rooms and we were going to be there 8 […] nights. The low price range won out and we decided to stay. There was a huge closet which helped tremendously in storing our things out of the way during the day, eleviating some of the crampedness. It also seemed that they were a bit understaffed. Saw dirted tracked in on the tile floors on more than one occasion and it did not get cleaned up very quickly. The laundry facility was convenient and well-kept. Overall, we would probably stay there again, just reminding ourselves that it is smaller than expected. Read more

The room was very nice as was the hotel. Bed was great, slept very well. My only issue is that it is called a suite, but is really a room with an attached kitchen. There wasn't a space for me to go read while my husband slept in. The pictures were a little misleading.

Wierd tiny square pillows look stylish;but are uncomfortable to sleep on. One of the WORST breakfasts ever! The dining room isn't cozy at all--It reminded me of a miniture High School cafeteria. The hotel room was very nice. The breakfast was a bit lacking. Very little to choose from and the area was small and hidden. There were 2 softball teams staying there but it was still very quiet in the room. As a whole it is a very nice place. We will be staying there again.
