"Just what we needed!"
Wonderful and quiet. I would stay here again. Very personable and accommodating staff. If you can afford it go for the villas which overlook the ocean and pool.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff are friendly and accommodating. I love the location. I am used to more pillows and a comforter, but I guess because I am on a Caribbean Island I should not have expected it. I would stay here again and again!!! The rooms are clean and you can cook. The patios are spacious.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"relaxing hotel with some reservations"
Dive vacation. Nice grounds. Quiet, relaxing. 15 min drive north of main square in Kralendijk. Get a room that has a.c. in the kitchen area as well as bedroom! Chocolate melted in kitchen-no AC, no screens on windows during rainy/mosquito weather in Nov 2014. Dive shop very helpful esp Bart and Theresa. When we stayed breakfast staff service was helpful […] but evening service lacking--possibly because we only ordered soft drinks and fries? Some guests were more tended to, maybe because they ordered more? Our itinerary specifically stated free airport shuttle transfers (plural). On our departure, the taxi driver said we owed him $30. We paid him. Not sure if he ripped us off or we misunderstood. It was 6:00 am so hotel office was closed. Fair warning: settle this in advance! It was a decent place but next time I think I'll try staying South of Kralendijk. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Don't rent the penthouse or units in blue building"
Our unit could use an update... we rented a penthouse with a beautiful view. I was shown others 1 bdrms for less money and they were beautiful and better kitchens. The dishes and floor were dirty feeling and I bought a pan cause other one provided I would'nt dare cook in....I'm picky! Breakfast provided was good as I love fruit and hard boiled eggs, […] staff was great and diving awesome on the north side which u are very close. Met some great folks. That's the point of these places, instead of a house, but truly I think we could of done better for the price paid. Property loaded with flowers, parrots, goats, birds...ect TROPICAL! "Caribbean Club Bonaire"
Your Review Caribbean Club Bonaire Big accomodations, with a kitchen in a room and another one being the bedroom+bathroom. Air conditioning in the bedroom. There is also a porch where we can have a dinner. Good breakfast with french type bread and fruits. The restaurant is open until night. The included WiFi works only there. The mosquitos were very […] active in the restaurat area at night during my stay. In the last day, a product was being sprayed around the hotel to kill them. You can walk to the shore from the hotel and use a stair to snorkeling or diving (no beach). The front desk is also a dive shop. If it is your first visit to Bonaire, it is not so easy to find the hotel from the airport without a GPS. But having a car in the island is really necessary. A laundry in the hotel would be helpful. "Great staff, perfect place to stay!"
The staff helped out in so many ways! They arranged a wedding cake for my wife and my anniversary and helped me keep it a secret until the perfect moment. They went above and beyond with the diving and general resort experience. Thank you in particular, Sven, Niek, Bart, and Steffie - you all were great!! The resort is right by the water and a decent […] dive site. For further sites, the rental trucks and abundance of free air tanks makes it a perfect dive resort. Our room was upgraded for free from a studio apartment to a spacious 1 bedroom cottage with a porch using the Run of the House deal! Beautiful location and quiet for relaxation. We would definitely stay here again! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Strategically Located in Central Part of Island"
The stay was very nice, with the beach and dive location just within walking distance from the resort. Staff was friendly and nice. Rooms were big and comfortable. The happy hour specials at the bar were awesome. The computer at the restaurant was broken though so that was a bummer since I did not have a device with WiFi. Also, the office closes a bit […] too early but thankfully the security guard addressed my needs. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Place to stay in Bonaire"
What a beautiful setting. Our room was just perfect, the food in the restaurant (their cheeseburgers) were fantastic. It is a little ways from downtown but we loved the privacy. Lots of birds to watch and the ocean view was incredible!Genuine Expedia guest review

Good location with pretty much everything on site. Be careful when things are closed because most things were closed Sunday and even the Monday I was there. Food was average so best if you go into town and I wouldn't do the meal plan.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great base for snorkeling and exploring Bonaire"
We visited Bonaire off-season and so the island was not-overcrowded at all and the hotel was also pretty empty, which we loved. We arrived and departed in the middle of the night, both times it was dealt with in an uncomplicated manner. The hotel is a little away from the city center and the majority of other hotels. The advantage is that its less busy […] and you are very close to a lot of great snorkel spots in the north. When planning your tours, keep in mind that the road north is one-way (after Karpata). As anywhere on the island you will need a rental car/truck to get around. We got the car right through them. It was in great shape and we had no problems with it. The room was clean and we had a great terrace right out front. Room service came every second day, but that was fine with us. The newer pool has a great view towards the National Park where you can watch the sun set. The staff was friendly at all times and they have great Bonaire adventures on offer (Mangrove Tour, Cave exploring etc.) They also pair up with buddy dive to provide divers with fresh tanks etc. Also helpful, lockers for wet diving/snorkeling equipment. Their restaurant offers all three meals, we only tried their breakfast and dinner. Sometimes you have to ask, since there is no buffet when not many guests are around. But the food was good and the staff was welcoming and helpful. Dinner was great, too. Overall, it's a great spot and would book it again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice place - good value"
This hotel may be a bit out of the way but if you rent a car it's not a biggie. The studio is really nice. It has a nearly complete kitchen, a seperate large bedroom and a large veranda. The internet wifi worked well. I would have liked a large flat panel TV instead of the small old fashioned set but that's the only negative. I've stayed in a number […] of the less expensive hotels in Bonaire over the years and I would rate this as a best value for the price.

"Freedom and relaxation"
02/22/15 SteveK105 Lowestoft, United Kingdom
The Caribbean Club Bonaire is not the Ritz, but it is a friendly, helpful, clean resort, that allows you to do whatever you want on your holiday. Staff are always on hand but will not continually try to sell you excursions, dives or encourage you to attend theme nights. If you want to do your own thing, dive and relax there is nowhere better. Our 2nd time at this resort and we will be returning.
"Incredible Stay @ Scuba Resort"
02/09/15 Nathan M Grants Pass, Oregon, United States
Bonaire is a scuba destination and this resort definitely delivers. It's part of Buddy Dive so you have access to tanks/weights both here and at Buddy. We always just loaded up our truck with tanks before leaving the resort to accommodate a full day of diving, took off and returned them in the afternoon. Staff was extraordinarily friendly. The restaurant/bar on-site is nice, but felt deserted every day other than Sunday (BBQ day). This is a quiet motel in our experience. Probably stay at Buddy Dive if you want to be surrounded by lots of people and noise. Stay here if you enjoy a smaller more quiet resort. Room was terrific, we stayed in 301 which had a great view of the ocean, a huge deck with seating for 6 (sleeping for 4). Room has a private scuba equipment locker for hanging your gear at the end of the day. Wifi is hit and miss, I would suggest not counting on it. It never worked in the room, and sometimes worked at the bar. We had to go to town several times to get internet access, and even in town it's hit and miss. If you need reliable or fast internet access, this isn't your island. If you want an incredible shore diving experience, this IS your island! You definitely must rent a car or truck on Bonaire. We rented from the resort and they provided us a total junker (which was a good thing in our case) as we didn't feel one bit bad taking it down narrow dirt roads. It was already scratched up thoroughly, dented, and the inside was already destroyed so we didn't feel bad at all just tossing our wet/dirty gear inside the truck. It was a blessing in disguise we ended up w/ the junker truck. Mechanically it was sound, other than non-functional seat belts. My only regret is the bumper didn't completely fall off before we were done, that would have been fun. It's definitely coming off for the next renters I think. Lucky dogs.. I highly recommend this truck, just ask for the rust bucket and maybe some extra bailing wire for the bumper.
"Quiet, out of town."
We liked CCB and would recommend it, with a few caveats. We got one of the older, cheaper rooms (203), and found it perfectly adequate. AC worked, Kitchen was fine, bathroom worked well. We didn't spend much time in the room. Very quiet at night. They arrange airport access, both pick and drop off. They were fantastic at solving a complex airport problem for us; quick response and really saved our axx. We paid the insurance and got a brand new truck, only a few thousand km on it, which worked well. On busy weeks apparently they can run out of trucks, so do book ahead. One person we met had been promised a truck, but none was available. Breakfast service was excellent when Jose was in charge. She is organized, personable and does an excellent job. Not so much on her days off. Lots of fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage, bread and cheese, cereals, or you can order from the kitchen. All tasty. Lunch and dinner - get the sandwiches, not the burgers, DIY or head downtown The diving on Bonaire is spectacular. We are experienced AOW (700+ & 150+ dives) and the biodiversity is excellent, ranking up there with Cozumel, but without the sharks. The best part is no current. The worst is getting knocked about on entry and exit. Bring booties with grippy soles. That said, there are many dive sites with pretty easy entries, and these are some of the best for fish on the island (Buddy's, Something Special, Bari, etc.). OilSlick is just down the road and is fine diving. Bart and Neik in the dive shop were helpful. CCB is associated with Buddy Dive, so you can get the perks of the BD drive thru tank fill at a slightly cheaper price. BD is busier, closer to town and has fall in the water off the dock easy shore diving. Fancier restaurant. Wifi spotty. Would I go back to Bonaire, absolutely!
"Lovely apartment & views, nice staff"
12/29/14 PMR12SD Harrogate, United Kingdom
The Caribbean Club is a great place to stay - a little out of town but all the better for being quiet with beautiful views of the sea. You do need a car on Bonaire. We stayed in one of the 'deluxe cottages' which is a 2 bed apartment with air conditioned bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen/lounge. Unfortunately the kitchen isn't air conditioned so we couldn't stand to be in there longer than the few minutes it took to get from the back door the the balcony, which was the only downside of the place. If it had had a/c, we would have given it 5 stars. The staff were lovely and catered to our every whim; we changed our stay dates with no problem while we were there. There are a couple of nice pools - one by the bar/restaurant and one elsewhere on the complex. We also were a mixed group - some diving and some not. Whilst largely suited to divers, we also did plenty of snorkelling and drove around the rest of the island which is really interesting. We also recommend Dive Friends as the diving company to choose!

I would suggest paying more money, staying somewhere else, and being happy in the long run. We booked a package with the truck and breakfast. The diving was great and the dive area was good as well. Otherwise the hotel is run down and old. The truck was awful and on the last day, we were charged for another day. Even though we received a call to have the truck back on the last day by 5 (we had it back by 3) or we would be charged another day. No one could do anything about it, even the manager? The breakfast was ok- nothing special. The room was ok. The area is over run by bugs inside and outside. We had to cover ourselves with deet spray to keep them away. They claim to have wifi, but it does not always work. If I go back to Bonaire, I would never stay here again- I would tell anyone to not stay here. The island is beautiful and the diving is great- just not this place.
"Has almost everything you need"
12/21/14 David E Bridgewater, New Jersey
First there is one thing this hotel does not have; close access to the town. As long as you get that, the hotel offers everything you need. The rooms are very spacious. We had a single bedroom with very large bathroom, walk-in closet, and in a front room, a kitchenette and a living room area large enough for lots of dive gear. The room also comes with lots of furniture on an outside wrap-around patio not shared with anyone else. We had the LEAST expensive room - the others had much more space! The breakfast is included and is great with the staples as well as stuff cooked to order. The dive shop is full service and can even arrange non-diving trips. The staff was super helpful in every way. The room comes with a truck so no rental at the airport and the shuttle service was very welcome. It is a close walk to Oil Slick so nice night dives. Wifi was spotty but was good most days. Super place and a great price.
This place is fantastic for all type of people visiting Bonaire; divers, couples, families. Good location with great diving/snorkeling spots close by. You must rent a car or scooter to get around the island.
"Great Time, Good People at CCB"
11/05/14 Debbie P Naperville, Illinois
CCB staff was great to us! Very friendly and helpful. When we first arrived to CCB we thought it was too far out from everything, but after a couple of days the decision was made that it was worth the 20 minute drive to town. There was no congestion and crowds and it was quiet and peaceful. Diving was good all over the island. The North side for diving was very nice, however entering the water can be tricky as the beaches were very rocky but the diving was awesome! The South side was easy entry and once again awesome diving. A side note, check the "O" rings before going to your dive site. Have some extra "O" rings in your spare kit. Keep all your replacements as Buddy Dive will give you replacement rings. It was fun seeing the random donkey here and there. And the goats, lots of goats! Bonaire is an awesome diving vacation. CCB is a nice place and we plan to stay there again.
"Nice, but they need to sort out some issues"
10/18/14 Pseudonym99 London
We went to Bonaire with a group of 16 Brits and stayed at the Caribbean Club on an unlimited shore diving package that included car hire, unlimited tank refills and breakfast. The hotel itself was nice - the rooms were spacious and comfortable and the staff friendly and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the patios and used them extensively to socialise. Cleaning was a bit of a problem as our floors and bathroom weren't cleaned seemingly ever. Also, the bathroom consumables (soap, shampoo, toilet paper) weren't refilled until we asked. The pickup truck provided as part of our package was old, very poorly maintained and held together by rust. The drivers seat of the first one they gave me would randomly fly into the backseat. The second truck's headlights failed while were driving back to the hotel at night and we were forced to use the hazard lights to get us back. When I complained the staff seemed to think that I was using this as an excuse to get an upgrade. In the end, I was simply given another poorly maintained truck that didn't have as many issues. I complained to the manager about this he seemed genuinely concerned though he certainly wasn't willing to offer any kind of discount or otherwise take responsibility. The other guests in our group suffered similar issues while other guests, we noted, were given much newer trucks leaving some to speculate that we were being singled out. The tanks were another problem as the 'O' rings regularly caused us issues which lead to frequent trips back to the dive shop to switch out tanks. Easily done, but annoying when you had to wait for your buddy to run back. Again, we complained, and while we they listened to our concerns nothing was done about it. As a side note, if you've got a DIN connector on your regulator, make sure to bring an adapter as the island uses Yoke valves exclusively - the hotel charges $10 per week for this. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Caribbean Club, though I'm not sure we would return.
"Third time guests"
09/25/14 Rick_McNutt Harriman, Tennessee, USA
August 2014 was our third trip to Bonaire and our third stay at CCB. We booked the shore dive package including room, breakfast, airport transfer, truck and unlimited Nitrox through Bonaire Pros. Direct flights from Atlanta on Delta are now available on Friday and Saturday. We were met at the airport by Stanley as usual. He keeps that minivan spotless but could stand to lose a few of the air fresheners. Check-in at CCB went smooth as usual. Note: Buddy Dive provides the trucks and now requires you to take out the additional insurance due to having new trucks. We requested an old truck and waived the insurance. The room was great. Having a full size refrigerator with a freezer and ice maker was nice. Dive lockers and fresh water rinse tanks are located next to the parking lot. Tank room is next to the dive shop and available 24 hours a day. Buddy Dive also stocks the tank room and we did have a couple of times this trip where we had to drive to Buddy Dive because they let the tank room at CCB go empty. Breakfast was good every day whether the buffet was open or the kitchen was preparing plates. Good strong coffee! We love the northern dive sites and CCB is the best location to access them. Don't let the other comments about CCB being remote worry you. The drive to the other end of the island takes only 25 minutes and the peace and quiet is wonderful. Looking forward to our next trip to Bonaire and CCB.
