"Caribbean Club Bonaire"
Your Review Caribbean Club Bonaire Big accomodations, with a kitchen in a room and another one being the bedroom+bathroom. Air conditioning in the bedroom. There is also a porch where we can have a dinner. Good breakfast with french type bread and fruits. The restaurant is open until night. The included WiFi works only there. The mosquitos were very […] active in the restaurat area at night during my stay. In the last day, a product was being sprayed around the hotel to kill them. You can walk to the shore from the hotel and use a stair to snorkeling or diving (no beach). The front desk is also a dive shop. If it is your first visit to Bonaire, it is not so easy to find the hotel from the airport without a GPS. But having a car in the island is really necessary. A laundry in the hotel would be helpful. "Great staff, perfect place to stay!"
The staff helped out in so many ways! They arranged a wedding cake for my wife and my anniversary and helped me keep it a secret until the perfect moment. They went above and beyond with the diving and general resort experience. Thank you in particular, Sven, Niek, Bart, and Steffie - you all were great!! The resort is right by the water and a decent […] dive site. For further sites, the rental trucks and abundance of free air tanks makes it a perfect dive resort. Our room was upgraded for free from a studio apartment to a spacious 1 bedroom cottage with a porch using the Run of the House deal! Beautiful location and quiet for relaxation. We would definitely stay here again! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Strategically Located in Central Part of Island"
The stay was very nice, with the beach and dive location just within walking distance from the resort. Staff was friendly and nice. Rooms were big and comfortable. The happy hour specials at the bar were awesome. The computer at the restaurant was broken though so that was a bummer since I did not have a device with WiFi. Also, the office closes a bit […] too early but thankfully the security guard addressed my needs. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Place to stay in Bonaire"
What a beautiful setting. Our room was just perfect, the food in the restaurant (their cheeseburgers) were fantastic. It is a little ways from downtown but we loved the privacy. Lots of birds to watch and the ocean view was incredible!Genuine Expedia guest review
It's very quiet, relaxing, and people were great. If you are looking for more activities go to Buddy Dive, an affiliate.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great if you are a diver"
Good location with pretty much everything on site. Be careful when things are closed because most things were closed Sunday and even the Monday I was there. Food was average so best if you go into town and I wouldn't do the meal plan.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Eveything divers & snorkelers need."
Everything divers & snorkelers need in a beautiful garden setting. Quiet grounds with even a rinse tank and lockers for your gear. Kitchenette had basic supplies. Nice porch with a big table and several chairs. Really enjoyed the pool overlooking the oceanGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great base for snorkeling and exploring Bonaire"
We visited Bonaire off-season and so the island was not-overcrowded at all and the hotel was also pretty empty, which we loved. We arrived and departed in the middle of the night, both times it was dealt with in an uncomplicated manner. The hotel is a little away from the city center and the majority of other hotels. The advantage is that its less busy […] and you are very close to a lot of great snorkel spots in the north. When planning your tours, keep in mind that the road north is one-way (after Karpata). As anywhere on the island you will need a rental car/truck to get around. We got the car right through them. It was in great shape and we had no problems with it. The room was clean and we had a great terrace right out front. Room service came every second day, but that was fine with us. The newer pool has a great view towards the National Park where you can watch the sun set. The staff was friendly at all times and they have great Bonaire adventures on offer (Mangrove Tour, Cave exploring etc.) They also pair up with buddy dive to provide divers with fresh tanks etc. Also helpful, lockers for wet diving/snorkeling equipment. Their restaurant offers all three meals, we only tried their breakfast and dinner. Sometimes you have to ask, since there is no buffet when not many guests are around. But the food was good and the staff was welcoming and helpful. Dinner was great, too. Overall, it's a great spot and would book it again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was quiet and very laid back which is exactly what we needed. The staff was very helpful and kind. location was exellent.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel was decent, somewhat run down but the staff were great, it was very close to a very good diving/snorkeling site, the food so-so, happy hour a bit arbitrary on prices and some amenities missing. However, we were there for the water, not to sit in a hotel room so it more than met our needs. Nice to have the kitchenette and the three pools were […] great for getting rid of the salt water. Excellent view from the one pool. Overall, happy. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The Caribbean Club Hotel is located a few miles NW from downtown, about a block from the water. It is located close to the dive site "Oil Slick" (there is no oil, it's just a name). The hotel rooms are one to two storys and each is separated from each other by lush tropical vegetation. All have a balconies and some balconies have a nice view of the […] Caribbean and the sunset. The restaurant/bar serves good food, however if you don't eat at the restaurant the next closest place to eat is a couple of miles away. The dive shop is well equipped and guided dives are available. I would definitely stay here again, next time I would rent a dive truck instead of a small car. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Nice place - good value"
This hotel may be a bit out of the way but if you rent a car it's not a biggie. The studio is really nice. It has a nearly complete kitchen, a seperate large bedroom and a large veranda. The internet wifi worked well. I would have liked a large flat panel TV instead of the small old fashioned set but that's the only negative. I've stayed in a number […] of the less expensive hotels in Bonaire over the years and I would rate this as a best value for the price.

Voisimme hyvin palata samaan hotelliin tulevilla matkoilla.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"A divers paradise"
Service was first class - from everybody from reception through restaurant, cleaning and divechamp Nils. It is outside town, but it only takes around 15 minutes to go just about anywhere. If you are diving this place caters perfectly for you - if you are not, then it is also a great place, but you definately need a car. Pools are clean and nice - […] one with a view of the strait between Bonaire and Klein Bonaire. We actually spotted whales from the pool terrace one afternoon! Breakfast is excellent. If the buffet is a little empty, then you just ask for what you want. Accomodation - we were in a new apartment 112 - was absolutely perfect. Even though we were in the third row we still had a view from the terrace. Beds were fine and kitchen was fully equipped. If you are going to Bonaire to dive - then I highly recommend to book the dive package at this place including free air, rental car, accomodation and breakfast. You won't regret it - I wanna go back right now! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Third time guests"
09/25/14 Rick_McNutt Harriman, Tennessee, USA
August 2014 was our third trip to Bonaire and our third stay at CCB. We booked the shore dive package including room, breakfast, airport transfer, truck and unlimited Nitrox through Bonaire Pros. Direct flights from Atlanta on Delta are now available on Friday and Saturday. We were met at the airport by Stanley as usual. He keeps that minivan spotless but could stand to lose a few of the air fresheners. Check-in at CCB went smooth as usual. Note: Buddy Dive provides the trucks and now requires you to take out the additional insurance due to having new trucks. We requested an old truck and waived the insurance. The room was great. Having a full size refrigerator with a freezer and ice maker was nice. Dive lockers and fresh water rinse tanks are located next to the parking lot. Tank room is next to the dive shop and available 24 hours a day. Buddy Dive also stocks the tank room and we did have a couple of times this trip where we had to drive to Buddy Dive because they let the tank room at CCB go empty. Breakfast was good every day whether the buffet was open or the kitchen was preparing plates. Good strong coffee! We love the northern dive sites and CCB is the best location to access them. Don't let the other comments about CCB being remote worry you. The drive to the other end of the island takes only 25 minutes and the peace and quiet is wonderful. Looking forward to our next trip to Bonaire and CCB.
"Good for North Side Diving"
09/17/14 JJFriday White Marsh, Maryland
This is a good place to base yourself for diving the north side of the island if you're OK with feeling a bit remote and 15 minutes away from town (and just about anything else). We originally booked a cottage but upgraded to a penthouse for a waterfront view. Penthouses come with dive lockers next to a fresh water tub and parking lot which is really convenient. Even the penthouses are pretty basic and bare looking but the balconies and views make up for that. Overall, a pretty good value.

"Excellent value for the price!"
08/04/14 Somarha Seattle, Washington
I just came back from a 7 day dive vacation in Bonaire with friends and we all stayed here. The hotel operators were fantastic and so kind. All of us bought the "run of the house", but my room was the only one to get upgraded. The only negative to the resort would be the slow service in the restaurant, but maybe it was because it was the low season and the kitchen literally has only one cook so that when 15 people suddenly show up hungry, they literally can't meet the demand. All of the workers were gracious and accommodating. I don't think I have ever felt that I have received the value I received here for the price. I will definitely come back and stay again. However, I will be sure to pay for the upgraded suite with the full kitchen so that I can cook much of my own food.

Just when you think the Caribbean Club has reached a great level of service.....they come forward and surprise me again. Barbara and Remmert are working hard to make this a customer friendly resort and bringing it to near awesome status. I like the peace and quiet of a small resort...but this always feels like home when i stay here New staff always brings a training period...but the people here have stepped up their game and are doing a great job! House keeping is good....cooks are awesome...the dive staff is fantastic and front office people are fun and efficient! The wait staff are stepping up under new leadership...and Carissa as always makes things very comfortable. Live music is part of the barbeque every sunday and is okay.....a little less loud for me would be great. The spacious dining area allows you to move away from the music. At breakfast..always keep your eyes peeled for the warm fresh cinnamon bread and croissants!! Fantastic!! :) If you dont see what you want at breakfast or dinner...be sure and ask....the staff is very accomidating to meet your needs if they can. Staying 2 weeks in july was very comfortable and i was very pleasantly surprised to be upgraded from the cottage we reserved. If you want the best accomidations....request the deluxe cottage when you make your reservations. I am excited to return to Caribbean Club to see what new and awrsome surprises and improvements they have come up with!! Thank you again to Barabra and Remmert for a great holiday at the resort!!

"Another great visit!"

We again stayed at Caribbean Club Bonaire & check in went well (although I did have to upgrade once we got there). We arrived late Friday night & hung out at the pool after dinner at the bar. The next morning we were given the typical Buddy Dive beater truck, which I love & prefer. Only issue was the tailgate was about to fall off due to rust/corrosion from the salty atmosphere. Once we brought this to their attention, our vehicle was replaced. The grounds are even more beautiful & lush than last year. They really take pride in the landscaping. I saw a groundskeeper there cutting off dead leaves/flowers regularly. The beauty of the flora must be what draws the fauna. Several green parrots, hummingbirds and lizards roam the property with you. The staff is simply amazing! We were always met with a smile & they always had an answer for us. Even the cooks & wait staff remembered us from last year. That was nice. I signed up to take a buoyancy class with the dive staff & it was a great learning experience. It was nice to be the only one in class so we only focused on my needs. We stayed in the penthouse & had everything we needed. A large refrigerator, pots, pans, utensils, etc. The only thing we needed in the kitchen was soap. We ate most of our meals in the room, so we used the kitchen daily. Having dinner on our terrace every night was beautiful. We had a great view of the ocean. The rum punch party is not to be missed. There was live music from TAFKAH which was so fun! Plus you get free booze for an hour. The food was pretty good as well. This property is the northern most resort on the island. Oil Slick Leap is your house reef (although you need to drive just a few hundred feet to the site). The northern sites are my favorite anyway, so this location is great for us. They are associated with Buddy Dive, so you can also get tanks at their location if you don't want to drive all the way back to CCB. Overall a great 10 day stay. Can't wait to return!

We've stayed two weeks at Caribbean Club Bonaire in one of their ocean front villa's which was simply amazing! The view from the porch is spectacular and the place is fully equipped! Diving facilities are simply perfect, great service and support!

Carribean Club is a nice resort on Bonaire, the dive shop is great. Tanks (including nitrox) are most of the time available in the 24/7 "tank warehouse". Rooms are clean and nice. The breakfast is ok.
"The property is ' slipping ', but Customer Service is NOT!"

I just returned from a week stay at CCB and this was my 7th year on Island, my 6th at Caribbean Club. As usual, I stayed in a 2BR Cottage Deluxe with the BEST VIEW ON THE ISLAND for a Hotel Accomodation, (and worth every penny). That being said, I must offer some constructive criticism(s). This time I stayed with a couple from Germany. We have been friends for years and meet to dive around the planet. I brought them to MY Valhalla this time and they too fell in love with the view and laid-back, quiet nature of the distant property. As usual, the maids seem to forget/neglect to clean the rinse tank and/or sweep the deck at the front of the house as it was loaded with the inevitable sand from the " final gear cleaning " prior to guests departure. My friends decided against the Breakfast Package (perfect & delicious for the single guys vacation) so we bought groceries to cook breakfasts, and make sandwiches. The first morning we went to make eggs, the pots and pans were filthy with caked-on grit and scorched food remnants and blackness. The can opener was just broken in the drawer in pieces and the counter was a tad dirty/dusty. Cutlery was less than clean. Housekeeping every 2 days......okay. I'm used to that. But for the LIFE of me, I can NOT understand what the Dutch or maybe just CCB has against the venerable FITTED SHEET. In all my 6 visits to the Incredible resort, I have never been given a FITTED SHEET that STAYED ON THE BED when you turn over. I don't mind that every room has 2 twin beds to accommodate individual persons OR that they usually just push them together and put FLAT SHEETS ON THEM, but I always have to ask to get a Mattress pad so I don't fall in the middle when the beds separate. Is it a BUDGET issue? Is it a Machine washing and wear issue with the Elastic bands? I don't know, but one year I BOUGHT a queen sized fitted just so that for the week I did NOT end up " mummified " in the Flat Sheet each morning. I have been asking them for years to remove the bug screens in the bathrooms as well to wipe/clean the dust in the vent/louvers over the windows and the carpet of dead bugs, but to no avail...... The big pool could be looked at as well so scrub the scum-ring off the waterline especially on the West North West side. And the rental trucks are an ABOMINATION. Belmar seems to have a Really nice Fleet of white trucks only 2 years old, but BDR AND CCB are rusted to S#%@ and falling apart, 1-2 years past serviceable. Okay, all that being said, on to the GOOD ! Every year I work through the winter, save my sheckels, and make my Pilgrimage to BONAIRE to celebrate my birthday. I have been coming to the property for 6 years and I am happy to call Managers Barbara and Remmert "family". (I hope they still are after this review....) Once the front Desk was informed about the condition(s) noted, they IMMEDIATELY sought to remedy the items and even offered to move us to another cottage. Aside from a roof leak from an Unusual downpour on our 1 night, there was no need ( or desire ) to move our rooms and gear. They set about rectifying all my complaints. They even went so far as to add a 3rd padded wooden lounge chair to our deck as there was 3 of us on this trip ! On my Birthday when we returned to the cottage from a full day of diving, there was a bottle of wine on ice waiting on the deck with 3 glasses and a Birthday Greeting for me ! (they do this Every Year....) I love the staff to DEATH and this IS a Top Shelf Resort with top shelf PEOPLE on Staff ! The girls on Internship are Lovely, Sven at the Dive Shop is super friendly and ever-helpful and Barbara is simply the BEST. The grounds have been IMPROVED year after year, but housekeeping WILL be as LAZY as Mgmt. will LET THEM BE....... Once in a while, I implore you go back and SPOT CHECK their work ! Call them on sloppiness or a half-assed job or even before a guest occupies a cottage in the Low Season, check to make sure the TRADEWINDS have not blown a ton of DUST under the doors onto the counters and furniture. Beyond that, I still LOVE CARIBBEAN CLUB and will be back SOON !!!!!!
