The staff are friendly and accommodating. I love the location. I am used to more pillows and a comforter, but I guess because I am on a Caribbean Island I should not have expected it. I would stay here again and again!!! The rooms are clean and you can cook. The patios are spacious.

Dive vacation. Nice grounds. Quiet, relaxing. 15 min drive north of main square in Kralendijk. Get a room that has a.c. in the kitchen area as well as bedroom! Chocolate melted in kitchen-no AC, no screens on windows during rainy/mosquito weather in Nov 2014. Dive shop very helpful esp Bart and Theresa. When we stayed breakfast staff service was helpful but evening service lacking--possibly because we only ordered soft drinks and fries? Some guests were more tended to, maybe because they ordered more? Our itinerary specifically stated free airport shuttle transfers (plural). On our departure, the taxi driver said we owed him $30. We paid him. Not sure if he ripped us off or we misunderstood. It was 6:00 am so hotel office was closed. Fair warning: settle this in advance! It was a decent place but next time I think I'll try staying South of Kralendijk.

Our unit could use an update... we rented a penthouse with a beautiful view. I was shown others 1 bdrms for less money and they were beautiful and better kitchens. The dishes and floor were dirty feeling and I bought a pan cause other one provided I would'nt dare cook in....I'm picky! Breakfast provided was good as I love fruit and hard boiled eggs, staff was great and diving awesome on the north side which u are very close. Met some great folks. That's the point of these places, instead of a house, but truly I think we could of done better for the price paid. Property loaded with flowers, parrots, goats, birds...ect TROPICAL!

Your Review Caribbean Club Bonaire Big accomodations, with a kitchen in a room and another one being the bedroom+bathroom. Air conditioning in the bedroom. There is also a porch where we can have a dinner. Good breakfast with french type bread and fruits. The restaurant is open until night. The included WiFi works only there. The mosquitos were very active in the restaurat area at night during my stay. In the last day, a product was being sprayed around the hotel to kill them. You can walk to the shore from the hotel and use a stair to snorkeling or diving (no beach). The front desk is also a dive shop. If it is your first visit to Bonaire, it is not so easy to find the hotel from the airport without a GPS. But having a car in the island is really necessary. A laundry in the hotel would be helpful.

The staff helped out in so many ways! They arranged a wedding cake for my wife and my anniversary and helped me keep it a secret until the perfect moment. They went above and beyond with the diving and general resort experience. Thank you in particular, Sven, Niek, Bart, and Steffie - you all were great!! The resort is right by the water and a decent dive site. For further sites, the rental trucks and abundance of free air tanks makes it a perfect dive resort. Our room was upgraded for free from a studio apartment to a spacious 1 bedroom cottage with a porch using the Run of the House deal! Beautiful location and quiet for relaxation. We would definitely stay here again!

The stay was very nice, with the beach and dive location just within walking distance from the resort. Staff was friendly and nice. Rooms were big and comfortable. The happy hour specials at the bar were awesome. The computer at the restaurant was broken though so that was a bummer since I did not have a device with WiFi. Also, the office closes a bit too early but thankfully the security guard addressed my needs.

We visited Bonaire off-season and so the island was not-overcrowded at all and the hotel was also pretty empty, which we loved. We arrived and departed in the middle of the night, both times it was dealt with in an uncomplicated manner. The hotel is a little away from the city center and the majority of other hotels. The advantage is that its less busy and you are very close to a lot of great snorkel spots in the north. When planning your tours, keep in mind that the road north is one-way (after Karpata). As anywhere on the island you will need a rental car/truck to get around. We got the car right through them. It was in great shape and we had no problems with it. The room was clean and we had a great terrace right out front. Room service came every second day, but that was fine with us. The newer pool has a great view towards the National Park where you can watch the sun set. The staff was friendly at all times and they have great Bonaire adventures on offer (Mangrove Tour, Cave exploring etc.) They also pair up with buddy dive to provide divers with fresh tanks etc. Also helpful, lockers for wet diving/snorkeling equipment. Their restaurant offers all three meals, we only tried their breakfast and dinner. Sometimes you have to ask, since there is no buffet when not many guests are around. But the food was good and the staff was welcoming and helpful. Dinner was great, too. Overall, it's a great spot and would book it again.

Pro's: the price was reasonable, friendly and helpful staff, partnered with Buddy Dive shop, near the ocean. Con's: Small and uncomfortable beds(although the staff replaced my mattress when asked), no microwave, AC dripped water, did not get wifi at our room, food and drinks at dining room were expensive and poorly cooked.

This hotel may be a bit out of the way but if you rent a car it's not a biggie. The studio is really nice. It has a nearly complete kitchen, a seperate large bedroom and a large veranda. The internet wifi worked well. I would have liked a large flat panel TV instead of the small old fashioned set but that's the only negative. I've stayed in a number of the less expensive hotels in Bonaire over the years and I would rate this as a best value for the price.

Voisimme hyvin palata samaan hotelliin tulevilla matkoilla.

We had a wonderful time at Caribbean Club Bonaire. The staff are just wonderful. Breakfast was always nice. The rooms are not fancy, but they are roomy, clean and comfortable. And really why would you want to be indoors when you are in Bonaire? I loved the kitchen and enjoyed cooking dinner a few nights during our trip. Our private porch was the perfect place to enjoy a nice meal and drink. Also the hotel bar was really nice and convenient. We loved sitting out by the pool under the full moon sipping cocktails. Also I personally liked that the location was a little further away from town. It made the atmosphere more serene. We really enjoyed relaxing out by the big pools overlooking the Caribbean Sea. It was great having a dive site so close to the premises, and the drive between Oil Slick and Karpata is one of my favorite places on the island. We will definitely be coming back to Caribbean Club Bonaire for our next trip to the ABCs.

"Even better!"
05/22/15 Guldukat2015 Glasgow, United Kingdom
This was our second stay at Caribbean Club. We wanted a mix of good shore diving, a peaceful pool for relaxing, and a comfortable room with adequate facilities, and we found the hotel delivered on all three counts. The staff couldn't do enough to make our stay go smoothly. Bart, Marco and the dive team were always on hand to offer polite and helpful advice on the best sites, given the weather conditions and our need for easy entry and exit. We brought our own gear and had no problems at all with o-rings etc. Nick and the other office staff sorted out everything else including booking our seats for the return flight. The hot breakfasts were made to order for us and Josie made sure our favorite sugar bread was always available. The dive truck was maybe a bit rough but not dangerously so - everything worked fine! Already we are planning a return in 2016!

"Tropicalease"

I stayed at the Caribbean Club April 18-25 and it was just what I was looking for. The rooms were arranged in small clusters which were separated by and surrounded by beautiful tropical shrubbery. I thought this was the perfect way to create a sense of serenity and privacy at the same time. I must not have been alone in that perception because when I walked through the property, I would see people relaxing on their porches, but never once was there any loud noise or unruliness. The resort is located about 3.5 miles outside of town which lends to the sense of tranquility. I stayed in a very clean studio apartment, which had all the amenities: tv, wi-fi, a kitchenette, a large tiled bathroom and shower, and very nice furnishings. The room opened up to a spacious covered porch, which was also nicely furnished. If you enjoy diving, this is your spot. It seemed that nearly everyone at the resort was a diver, and I met some very nice people during my stay; in fact, I ended up doing most of dives with people I met while eating the breakfast buffet. There are rinse tubs and individual gear lockers located near all of the rooms. The gear lockers are like very large vented outdoor closets (hangers included):all of them are secure as they only open with individual room keys. There are driveways and parking areas located very near the rinse tubs and gear lockers, so you never have to lug your equipment any distance at all. There is a dive shop located on site, which is associated with Buddy Dive Shop. This is convenient as you can get tanks, both air and nitrox, on site or in town. The dive shop employees are extremely helpful and friendly at both locations, and they are all fluent in several languages, The resort offers a number of packages also: I opted for free air tanks for unlimited shore dives, a truck (a must have), and breakfast each morning. The transfer fees to and from the airport were also included. An additional bonus is the Caribbean Club is located about 100 yards from Oil Slick Leap, which is the first dive site on the northern end of the west side of the island. This makes for a great starting point for a day of diving this stretch of Bonaire. There is no doubt that I will stay at the Caribbean Club resort when I return to Bonaire.

we stayed at the Caribbean club resort mid April for ten days and shared with another couple. The accommodation was adequate and reasonably clean. We had a mouse in the kitchen cupboards and it left little parcels for us. The cleaner cleaned it up sort of but surprisingly didnt tell management! we also had a Cockroach at the same time. AC worked well and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was ok and you could get items cooked if you requested it, omelettes, fried eggs etc we did have to ask for top up of bread, hot water, juice etc. The truck we were given was a piece of junk and should have been scrapped. we complained but were told it was all they had. It just about served the purpose. No din so be warned. Also we constantly had problems with seals on the cylinders with leaks, the dive staff weren't interested, at either site. the dive staff at CCB were arrogant, especially Bart. The rinse tank facility we were told to use was pretty poor. The drying room was plagued with Mosquitoes aswell. The menu in the restaurant was limited but was delicious, the chef was very good and attentive, The other staff were very helpful and nice. The drive and dive ideal is brilliant. Loved that part of the holiday, we were given a free boat dive with our package but they tried to charge us LOL. there are limited sandy beaches as well. all in all we did have a nice time with a few minor hiccups, would we return.....I dont think so as the world is a large place with lots to discover,......and no Seahorses either LOL Joe N Corrine,, xx

We stayed here for three nights on a short break from Curacao. We loved our room (penthouse suite) that had very comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. The personnel was very hospitable and friendly. The bbq on Sunday night was definitely busy but the kitchen had some difficulty keeping up the supplies. The hotel is a bit further away from the main strip but that is something we liked but that is definitely something to keep in mind. We would come back and recommend to friends.

"Fantastic Stay!"
04/14/15 Gerald R Quebec, Canada
Just returned from a 7 night dive vacation at the Caribbean Club. We loved it! We got villa #301 which was perfect for our needs. There were two separate bedrooms and bathrooms, a kitchen/living room space, and a wonderfully big veranda where we spent most of our time at the villa. The villa was very clean and comfortable. A/C in the bedrooms worked well. The kitchen was fairly well equipped, and the dishwasher was very much appreciated. We had our own rinse tank and dive locker at the villa which was very convenient. Breakfast each morning was great. Usually had bacon and eggs with very tasty coffee and orange juice. The rest of the meals we cooked in our villa. The Van den Twell supermarket is the place to shop in Bonaire. Fantastic selection of foods! The truck that we were assigned got us to where we wanted to go. Gas costs about $1.00 US per litre so driving around the island was very economical. Our usual routine was to load up the truck with tanks, and head off for a couple of shore dives. A couple of days, we did night dives as well. We got hooked on shore diving in Bonaire and although we had 6 boat dives as part of our package, we only used 1 boat dive. The shore dives were just too good! Next time, I would take the unlimited shore dive package with truck and skip the boat dives. The staff at the Caribbean Club are extreme friendly and helpful. The dive shop staff were great! Nicely equipped shop. Check-in and check-out were smooth. We were met at the airport upon arrival and were transported back to the airport upon departure. The grounds around the villa are nicely landscaped with palm trees, and cactus gardens. The swimming pool by the villas was warm and relaxing. Try to visit the park on the north west end of the island. While the road through the park is very rough, the scenery makes the rough ride worthwhile. The Wayaka II dive site on the west side of the park is very nice. Other than wishing for an extra blanket in the bedroom and in-room wifi (wifi available at the bar), the Caribbean Club exceeded our expectations. We would definitely return.

"Great stay at CCB"

My partner and I have just returned from a 12 night stay at CCB and it was fantastic! We stayed in a studio, room 107. It was basic, was a little worn (this added character we thought), but perfectly adequate. The kitchen consisted of a fridge, wash basin and work surface, with an ample amount of cupboard space and four ring gas/propane hob burners. Bathroom consisted of a large walk in shower, WC and sink. Room was air conditioned and also had a ceiling mounted fan. We were very happy with the room. However there was noise from around 0500 am from some sort of pump. I suspect that it was a water pump for watering the plants. However after a few days of diving - this was no longer an issue. A welcome bonus was the fact that the room came with its' own drying cupboard (lockable with the room key), situated close to two tubs with a fresh water tap and hose pipe; so you could wash your equipment down with fresh water after a day of diving and then hang to dry overnight. The grounds were pleasant and well kept. Bring Mozzy spray and wear it all the time!!!! The breakfast was okay and the staff were lovely. Most of the power sockets were 2/3 pin American sockets. We called our truck "Mike". He was a Mitsubishi and had had lots of arguments with hard objects in the past and lost most of them by the looks. He did not start first time in the morning, ever, but once he was up, he did everything we wanted (apart from going into second gear occasionally)! He had character and I would not have swapped him for another truck. Fuel was around $1 per litre. If you take out insurance, read it carefully - It does not cover the dirt tracks/uneven ground or the national park. In the national park the road is a dirt track. I drove it on a dry day and really wouldn't fancy doing it on a wet day. It is worth a visit because the landscape is very different to the rest of the island. The tanks are A clamp, adapters for DIN are available for rental. For some reason you seemed to get higher pressure tanks from Buddy than CCB. I don't know why, because they came from Buddy. The diving was great, a brilliant concept, drive up get your tanks and go where ever you want whenever you want. The dive sites marked by yellow stones (for the most part) were great. Lots of life, plenty to keep you interested! Rumours were abound that a Tiger Shark had been seen also a Black Tip Reef Shark, I don't know..... I saw a loads of Barracuda (one really big one at Salt Pier), nice sized Tarpon, loads of Turtles, Sting Rays and Eagle Rays. The most striking thing was that you rarely saw other divers underwater. By the end we were getting peeved parking at a dive site if there was another truck parked up already! Visibility was 20-30 meters, current was negligible, stronger to the South closer to Red Slave. We had heard stories about items being stolen from inside vehicles, so we left the vehicle open and windows down etc. We took a waterproof canister with us and put car keys, credit cards and cash down with us. We did not have any issues at all, nor did we hear of anyone having any issues. We also read on trip advisor about the rocky entrances / egresses at the sites. This was a worry because we have closed foot fins with neoprene socks. We therefore took Crocs with us to get into the water and attached them to our BCDs via carabiner after entering the water. Worked a treat! I've dived the Indian Ocean, Red Sea as well as other areas of the Caribbean. The diving at Bonaire was some of the best and most enjoyable I have done and cannot recommend it enough. Enjoy!!

"Freedom and relaxation"

The Caribbean Club Bonaire is not the Ritz, but it is a friendly, helpful, clean resort, that allows you to do whatever you want on your holiday. Staff are always on hand but will not continually try to sell you excursions, dives or encourage you to attend theme nights. If you want to do your own thing, dive and relax there is nowhere better. Our 2nd time at this resort and we will be returning.

"Incredible Stay @ Scuba Resort"

Bonaire is a scuba destination and this resort definitely delivers. It's part of Buddy Dive so you have access to tanks/weights both here and at Buddy. We always just loaded up our truck with tanks before leaving the resort to accommodate a full day of diving, took off and returned them in the afternoon. Staff was extraordinarily friendly. The restaurant/bar on-site is nice, but felt deserted every day other than Sunday (BBQ day). This is a quiet motel in our experience. Probably stay at Buddy Dive if you want to be surrounded by lots of people and noise. Stay here if you enjoy a smaller more quiet resort. Room was terrific, we stayed in 301 which had a great view of the ocean, a huge deck with seating for 6 (sleeping for 4). Room has a private scuba equipment locker for hanging your gear at the end of the day. Wifi is hit and miss, I would suggest not counting on it. It never worked in the room, and sometimes worked at the bar. We had to go to town several times to get internet access, and even in town it's hit and miss. If you need reliable or fast internet access, this isn't your island. If you want an incredible shore diving experience, this IS your island! You definitely must rent a car or truck on Bonaire. We rented from the resort and they provided us a total junker (which was a good thing in our case) as we didn't feel one bit bad taking it down narrow dirt roads. It was already scratched up thoroughly, dented, and the inside was already destroyed so we didn't feel bad at all just tossing our wet/dirty gear inside the truck. It was a blessing in disguise we ended up w/ the junker truck. Mechanically it was sound, other than non-functional seat belts. My only regret is the bumper didn't completely fall off before we were done, that would have been fun. It's definitely coming off for the next renters I think. Lucky dogs.. I highly recommend this truck, just ask for the rust bucket and maybe some extra bailing wire for the bumper.
