This hotel, even though a Best Western, is dated, bare hardwood floors, old non-descriptive furniture but clean and has an electric hot water heater with coffee and tea in the room which is great. Breakfast was surprisingly plentiful and good, however, this hotel has no restaurant which is a shame because one has to find one in the area. Walking one can easily get lost in Genoa because of all the narrow little streets linkng each other. Ther is a very good supermarket in walking distance calle Coop just in case. I stayed there twice, before and after my cruise, check in was very early and they checked me in immediately which is a plus after a flight and early arrival in town. Taxi fare from airport to hotel Euro 25 - 30, Euro 10 - 15 to and from cruise port. Taxis are right in front of the hotel or they call you one to be available within five minutes. Another plus.

We really loved staying here and I was in Varazze a few days before at another place then was going to Nice, France for a few days and coming back to... stay here and they were so kind and held my heavy suitcase. I would highly recommend this place and when you get out at the train station you turn left when you get down the stairs and go to an elevator or stairs and when you come out the hotel is a 2 minute walk around the corner. Struttura vecchia, in un angolo angusto senza nessuna vista. Lontano da mare, poco parcheggio. Personale antipatico e poco collaborativo. Piscina molto più piccola di quello che sembra dalle foto.

Das Hotel Coccodrillo liegt an idealer Lage, wenn man Ferien ohne Auto plant. Der Bahnhof liegt ganz in der Nähe und in 5-10 Minuten ist man in der Altstadt und am Meer. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem Hotel.
