I arrived in Sydney, Australia on a Sunday after a very long flight and suspected that I might have a big health problem due to the trip. The receptionist at the front desk was very caring and said she would try to find a doctor for me. She researched it on-line and found a medical clinic nearby but they had just closed (2pm on Sunday). So she left a message for the Monday morning desk receptionist to get an appointment for me. She did. I went to the clinic (within walking distance of the hotel.0 I spoke to a doctor who sent me for further tests and very fortunately, I was OK. The hotel staff was very caring and efficient. That was the first time in all my travels I've needed medical help and they were terrific!

The room was good !! We paid for a harbor view room and to say there was a view is a real reach. We were on the 10th floor of a 20 story building. There MAY have been some harbor views on higher floors but probable not. All-in-all it was a nice place and a good room in a great location.

I booked a junior suite and most suites I have stayed in have a kitchenette, but only had a small bedroom and a small "other" room which had tea and coffee making area desk and a lounge so really the same as a hotel room with a wall between this and the bedroom. No TV in the lounge so couldn't really use it . We were here on business so I try to book […] a room where we can veg on the lounge for an hour at the end of the day and watch tv, not on the bed. The website indicated that this type of room had this area along with a kitchenette. They didn't replace dirty hand towell and face washer (we were there 4 days). The bed was hard (more like a China bed) and on castors so when you sat on it and leaned against the wall it rolled away. I didn't think it was worth the price I paid. We had booked in for a night ton arrive at 9pm. We were asked if we had eaten to which we replied no."we would like to go to your dining room." Patrons were in there still eating. We were toldat 9.10 that the restraunt closed at 9pm. we asked what was in the viscinity and was advised of Thai and lebonese. Totally unacceptable for these two Aussies. […] (Wrong location for anglo saxon Australians. Elevator to room is outside of building,exposed to rain and cold and no security. Plus a haul up with a very heavy suitcase of 5 steps outside of elevator to room. Cooktop in the room head not been thoroughly cleaned, dining table was sticky with some revenue. When we went to heat some popcorn, our evening meal, we discovered a full packaged cines food meal in the microwave oven. The room and price also deserves a decent flat panel T.V.
