Voyager Beach Resort has a waterpark (surcharge), 3 outdoor swimming pools, an outdoor tennis court, and a waterslide. Public areas are equipped with wireless Internet access (surcharges apply). This 3.5-star resort features business amenities including a business center, small meeting rooms, and secretarial services. Dining options at the resort include 3 restaurants along with a coffee shop/café, a swim-up bar, and a bar/lounge. Guests are served a complimentary breakfast each morning. The staff can arrange tour/ticket assistance, wedding services, and currency exchange. Additional amenities at this Art Deco property include a children's pool, a children's club, and gift shops/newsstands. For a surcharge, guests have access to a roundtrip airport shuttle (available 24 hours). Onsite parking is complimentary.

Rooms feature balconies with ocean or garden views. The 236 air-conditioned guestrooms at Voyager Beach Resort include minibars and safes. Televisions are equipped with satellite channels. All accommodations provide desks and phones. Bathrooms offer showers with rainfall showerheads, double sinks, makeup/shaving mirrors, and hair dryers.
Additional amenities include ceiling fans and complimentary toiletries. Renovation of all guestrooms was completed in June 2010.

The Voyager’s main restaurant, the Mashua invites passengers for dinner, the menus featuring the cuisine of the destination.The Smuggler’s Cove is set in a natural cove of coral that was once under the sea, is a beautiful hideout for intimate romantic dinners or an exclusive family affair. The speciality seafood restaurant offers the best seafood with fresh lobsters, prawns and calamari cooked in Swahili style with coconut, or grilled and accompanied by mouth watering sauces and chutneys. You simply cannot miss out on dining in the cove – Smuggler’s Cove an experience to remember.The Minestrone Restaurant enjoy a meal under the dazzling star filled skies of Africa indulging in Italian pizzas and pastas, meats and seafood with a cool sorbet to refresh the taste buds before embarking on the next course.Kaskazi Snack Bar you can never go hungry on board Voyager – the Kaskazi snack bar offers delicious snacks all day. So if you sleep in late or miss lunch, there’s always the Kaskazi to head to where you can indulge in all time favourites like fish and chips and pizzas. Kaskazi Bar keep in top form by the sports pool. Enjoy a refreshing drink and then head back to the pool for water aerobics or whatever is on the timetable. Working out under the tropical sun means that you need to keep hydrated for your muscles to work well.Harbour Bar – 24 hours Enjoy the ambience of the Harbour bar by the quayside where you can meet almost everyone on the cruise or simply find your corner for a quiet drink.Sports Bar for cocktails set in the Lighthouse, enjoy tantalizing cocktails at the Sports bar which features a TV screen for your favourite sports channels. The Lighthouse also features the cyber café for quick connections to friends, family or business.Lookout Bar high on the cliff, the Lookout Bar looks over its private bay with stunning panoramas of the Indian Ocean. The bar is open till the last patron leaves.

"Voyager beach resort January 2012"
I had a six day stay at the Voyager which I booked on line after checking other hotels on the Mombasa coast, the Voyager had the best over all reviews and it is not surprising why. Everything about the Voyager was perfect, the hotel is in a great location directly on a beautiful stretch of beach not too far from Mombasa. The hotel is set in large well […] kept gardens and although it was the busiest hotel in the area during my stay it never seemed crowded or busy. There are 3 great swimming pools and the infinity pool which overlooks the beach is great for just chilling and watching the ocean. The only dissapointment was the gym which was not very well equipped but the rest of the facilites more than compensate. The room was very spacious,(superior garden view) well equipped, modern and clean, the room steward (Omar) was very friendly and did an excellent job of keep everything spic and span. The food was too good! I had intended to use my time at the Voyager to eat more healthily and maybe lose a few pounds but the diet and good intentions went out of the window, meals are buffet style and there is a very wide choice of dishes and the food is excellent! The best thing about the Voyager is the staff, they are all extremely polite and friendly and really create a great atmosphere and friendly environment, they are professional and helpful and always greet you with a smile and a friendly "jambo" I would reccomend the Voyager to anyone. One word of warning, always keep the mesh screens that open to the balcony closed, if not the moneky's will get in, whilst they are cute to watch and very photogenic, they got into my room once and caused havoc!! they went through the room like a hurricane! Also a special mention to the reception staff and public relations officer who dealt with all enquiries and matters with a smile and professional approach, as with all the staff they are top class. "Voyager Beach Resort"
Too many rules at this establishment - most of which are not communicated thoroughly. Children can't participate in most pool sports and yet this is not notified. We were not part of a standard group or week package and were only there for 2 nights so perhaps we missed out on the detail not being part of a group. To have to pay rental for a safe in […] a hotel room is not welcome. The quality of the food was excellent. The staff on the whole were pleasant and efficient. The band on the Monday night was excellent. The bathroom in our room is very old fashioned with chipped tiles on the floor and dripping taps. Definitely in need of a bit of renovation. The smell of drains was overwhelming at times around the "fun pool". The salesmen on the beach are intrusive. An ok venue for families but we would not go back. Read more

Stayed only 2 days, all inclusive formulla, verry good hotel, friendly staff and excelent service. choice of food for BF, Lunch and dinner more then addecuate, My son enjoyed his stay and playing on the beach, quite surprisingly we were served drinks on the beach as well which was much apreciated, definately vallue for monney,

"The hotel Voyager, Mombasa"
Our stay was great. My husbannd and three kids were thrilled with this expenditure. We had two garden view standard rooms and they were okay. We had wanted the superior sea view but we booked late when they were all taken. The all inclusive deal was great and the kids had a ball with the many activities. The staff are all friendly and more so the ones […] at the adventure animation deck. They are all brilliant and ever willing to assist. We only had one issue on transfers as when we got to the airport, there was no arranged transfer despite this being included in the website. Please check on this to avoid messing up this great experience. The food buffets were marvelous as well as the breakfast. "Voyager Mombasa"
Fantastic location with adjacent white sand beach. Excellent welcome. 3 excellent pools. Unfortunately, the rooms are tired and the bathrooms from the 1960's. We booked a deluxe room which turned out to be 10m x 7m including the bathroom. Although the room had a fridge and air condition either worked effectively. The bathroom towels are very hard (old) […] best to use the pool towels. The rules about what drinks you can have in bottles varies by bar. Whilst there are a few boats for sailing these are only available for an hour per day due to tides and coral. The food offered @ lunch is usually better than the evening although several guest suffered upset tums. Imagine Butins in the sun with white sand beach. Read more

This hotel is ideal for people who do not care much in which country they travel, but wish to have a comfortable stay without hassle. It is a typical fenced up resort; you don't need to go outside and will find everything you need inside. This also means that you're not encouraged to go outside. "Poor welcome by reception!!"
We arrived late at this hotel (following the overnight train from Nairobi breaking down and having to get a bus/taxi for the remaining 2 hours). We were tired, hungry and needed a shower. The lady who checked us in was arrogant and rude and her general impression was "ok i will see if we have a room for you" bearing in mind it was 3pm and we had already […] paid for the hotel! My friend was also ill so when i enquired about a doctor, this appeared to be a massive problem. The rest of the staff were friendly and polite but we received a very poor reception and were not made to feel welcome - more like an inconvenience to this receptionist. Read more

Quite expensive for Kenya standards but a great place for westerners to get a break from the harsh realities of the surrounding area. Great all inclusive deal, beautiful beach and pool area. "Correct à améliorer"
Dommage, La clim faiblarde et une TV qui met 2 heures avant d'afficher quelques choses. Le frigo est très fatigué ! Tout cela gâche très sérieusement le paysage !Sinon, pour le reste prestation correcte, mais sans plus !
"Het blijft Afrika"
Vriendelijk en voorkomend personeel, maar zeer inefficiënt. Verzorgde avond entertainment. Groot "sport" zwembad in een ruime en, afwisselende omgeving. De meeste gasten komen dan ook nooit buiten de omheining. Er is dan alvast geen gevaar om aangeklampt te worden door zwermen verkopers.

"Herlig hotell i Mombasa!"
Dette blir vel 8. året vi bor på Voyager, og jeg er stygt redd det blir mange flere også! De ansatte er blide og hyggelige, maten er god, det finnes masse aktiviteter som både store og små kan styre med, og ikke minst er hotellet ganske genialt bygget med sine 3 basseng til forskjellige formål!! Akkurat denne gangen var vi litt uheldig med rommet (havnet […] på et rom litt nærmt aktivitetsbassenget) så det ble litt bråkete på morgenen. Ellers like fornøyd som alltid! Read more

Bra och god mat men underhållningen på kvällarna var väl amatörmässig. Fin strand och rena pooler med trevlig personal. Bra service i restaurangerna och pool barerna. Jag kan rekommendera detta hotell då vi trivdes alldeles utmärkt.

Ett toppenställe helt enkelt. Personalen var väldigt trevlig och tillmötesgående, maten helt suverän och poolerna väldigt sköna. Rekommenderas varmt till alla besökare.
