"Nice location with nearby ammenities"
Nice, clean and convenient location not far from UNH. Restaurant and shopping next door. Staff was very attentive, quick and efficient and is the reason I only stay at Hampton Inn locations.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good place for the price"
Overall great service, located a bit far from any family related activities. Breakfast was good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great night's sleep"
We only stayed one night, but the evening staff was great when we checked in. He was great with giving advice/directions for restaurants near by. We didn't have much contact with staff other than check in and check out, but everyone was great and the rooms were very clean and lots of pillows on comfy beds.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Staff was very quick in replacing that smelly shower curtain.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A good hotel"
A good and comfortable hotel where the staff was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of healthy choices. A good choice of restaurants in Dover itself (a little drive away from the hotel) although there were places to eat around the hotel too. We would recommend this hotel as a stop-over place.Genuine Expedia guest review
"It was great"
Every thing was nice. The room, the bed and the breakfast. Definitly I would go to this hotel again if I'm around this area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Amazing value and super hospitality"

This was an extremely comfortable and accommodating place to spend a weekend. Though they promised us a cot for our daughter in the king bed room we had reserved, they ran out of cots before we got there. They then offered us a queen bed (handicapped) room which was perfect for us, and very comfortable. The breakfast was at the high end of steam table hot breakfasts, and the dining room is comfortable. We didn't use the pool or fitness room, but both were appealing. This was the nicest and best value place we've found in the Dover/Durham area so far.

I like this hotel but the noisy plumbing when the toilets are flushed upstairs is disturbing. We have stayed here many times and it was reopened in the last year after being renovated due to a flood. There doesn't appear to be any insulation around the pipes between the walls as the water noise is very load especially during the night. I would request a top floor room next time. Other than that, this is a very nice and clean hotel.
"Better than average with 2 key annoyances"
10/18/14 Tankminder Bucks County, Pa
Arrived for a one-night stay for a business meeting in the area. Staff very friendly and facility looked new and modern. Second floor single king room was nicer than average: modern, very new looking and clean. Plenty of outlets (2 in each bedside lamp) and seemed great for business travelers. I liked the lap desk and sit-down desk as well. Huge flat-screen TV though I didn't use it. I really liked the layout and furniture arrangement of the room too - different from most hotels and a welcome change. Bed and linens new and very comfortable. Walkable to 3 typical chain restaurants (Applebees, Chili's and a 99). Breakfast room was nice, food itself was typical of most included breakfasts. Not amazing, but not bad either. My 2 annoyances though: 1) Internet speed. While free, was atrocious. I did some clocking and saw less than 1mb down, plus they appear to be routing all internet through Kansas. That's a lot of lag when you're in NH. Speed was too slow to watch any kind of video, youtube, netflix, etc. I count on decent internet when I travel. This was disappointing. The other was ridiculously loud lawnmowing at 7am. This is clearly avoidable and just not acceptable for a hotel that prides itself on hospitality. Unfortunately those 2 things marred what otherwise would have been a great stay. I'll be returning to Dover several times for business over the next year, may try another place next time.

I stayed here for three days with a group of seniors to take in the fall colors. The convenient location makes it easy to daytrip into other states. The staff was very helpful and always pleasant. Our room was clean, quite and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast of waffles, eggs, potatos and cereal was plentiful. Free WiFi was a plus. Any future trips to New England, I would stay here.
Ricky at the front desk was exceptional! Went above and beyond the whole weekend. The hotel was clean and staff was super accommodating. We would go back and stay at this hotel again. The rooms were clean and the location was good.

Like all Hampton Inns, the staff here is superbly trained, the rooms are clean and well maintained, breakfast (included) is bountiful, and the location is convenient. I have stayed here several times for all the above reasons and because I always receive excellent value for the cost.

If you are ever visiting New England at any time, especially during the fall, Dover, N.H. is one of the best places to begin. That is, if you stay at the Dover Hampton. I rate them 10 for 10 as the best of the best. And one may enjoy the stay at an unbelievable cost.

Very satisfied with the accomodations, would definitely stay again. Good energy here. Comfortable bed. Dedicated staff. Clean, quiet. Good location for our purposes. Like the black and white photos. Like the dining area.
