an old-world type refurbished and upgraded pension with but two reservations: the hotel is not handicapped accessilbe (seven stairs at entrance), and windows to the outside from the room allow only air, not light to enter. on a positive side, entrance foyer articulates with an old-fashioned type chamber room, complete with piano and bar, and outside sports an outdoor chess board with moveable pieces. breakfast is served either under white or red grape trellises.all major sights are within walking distance or approachable by bus. the number 2 bus stops 30 meters from the hotel, and on weekends, the airport bus stops at the same place.

Hello, we got to Corfu because we were attracted by all the beautiful pictures of the island that we've seen. We booked Kaiser Bridge because of the reviews and also because we were intrigued by the name.Never knew that the Kaiser had a villa in Corfu! ....And, ...we were not dissapointed. We loved staying here, and we will come back, deffinitly. Everybody was very helpful and joyful. It was enchanting to wake up every morning and see the blue eyes of the sea, in such an opened view! Yes, you might not be able to sleep with the window open because of the noise from the cars, but the location is still great! Breakfast was a little too monotone - would be nice to have a change in the meets and cheeses offered every third day, let's say, but still, was very good and kept us going until late afternoon... It is a good loction, it allowed us to cover the whole island, day after day, being able to get "home" every evening. They also serve dinner, should you choose to stay in for it. A lot of people did, and it is very pleasant, being served on the terrace overlooking the evening sea. A wonderful memmory, a place to come back to!!! Oh, and they have wonderful music playing for breakfast. I told them, they should sell the CDs as a "remembering tocken".... Many Thanks to the wole family who runs it!!!

Great hotel on the side of a mountain on Corfu! If quiet and solitude is what you seek, with a great pool, this is your place! Comfortable room with a great view of the sea. The hotel is located on the side of a beautiful mountain and is very picturesque. Barbati Village is a 10 minute walk down the hill and has a few good restaurants to choose from. A tiny beach is located at the bottom of a steep hill. The beach is rocky and best navigated with some good footwear... Water is clear and beautiful. A larger beach is on the other side of the village. The pool area at the hotel is very nice and the snack bar / lounge serves nice food for lunch. Yes there is an issue with the bees/ hornets, but not a big problem.. Hotel staff is friendly and courteous. Breakfast is served daily and there is a wide variety of food and beverage choices. If you are looking for a relaxing and quiet place, this place is great. The only drawback is the remoteness from hotel to the port/airport. Taxi is about 35 euros from/ to each... I would stay there again and recommend it to friends...

The Corfu Palace is an excellent place to stay while on your holiday in Corfu -in walking distance of Old Corfu with it's plentiful shops, restaurants and cafes. The rooms are spacious and clean . The staff was gracious and helpful. We enjoyed the outdoor bar, near the pool and its beautiful surroundings. I look forward to our next visit.

This hotel is a quite basic beach hotel. It does not have it's own swimming pool, instead they encourage you to use that of another hotel that allows in the public, the room is very basic and small, and the Wifi works but gets maxed out when many people try to log on. If you are looking for a budget place to stay you could consider this.

A very friendly hotel with lots of atmosphere close to beach . Very clean and comfortable. There was a taxi strike on when we arrived and we had difficulty in finding transport from the Ferry Terminal to the hotel . A shuttle bus would be handy for transfers to the airport and ferries. Hotel management were very obliging and provided a private transport […] service for us to the airport.Close to shopping and tour bookings, we would recommend this hotel as value for money. Iliada er et av de få hotellene på Korfu vi så på som manglet eget basseng, men det gjorde ikke så mye da stranda lå 20 meter fra utgangsporten på hotellet. Et lite aber er at de ikke eier egne solsenger, så det koster 7 euro for to solsenger inkl. parasoll per dag dersom du ønsker det. Hotellrommet hadde enkel standard, men med egen balkong med havgløtt. […] Det var flere rom som lå med bedre utsikt, men da kommer du litt nærmere hotellets egen restaurant, noe som kan medføre litt støy (restauranten stenger i 21-22-tida hver kveld). Nabohotellet Molfetta har en utebar med musikk og diverse show gjennom uka. De holder åpent til 03.00-04.00 litt avhengig av mengden folk, men senker lydnivået etter midnatt, så det ødelegger ikke for Iliada i det hele tatt. Det er kort vei (2 min) fra Iliada hotell til "hovedgata" på Gouvia med marked, gyros, middag, øl, drinker, pizza og mye annet. Anbefaler hotellet for venner på tur, familier og strandløver. Vi var på Iliada i beg. av aug. 2011.Medarbeiderne i resepsjonen og restauranten var svært hyggelige, hjelpsomme og skapte en imøtekommende og koselig atmosfære. Maten i restauranten var svært god, og mye rimeligere enn i sentrum bare 150 meter unna. Rommene (vi hadde 3 stk. dobbeltrom) var trange og svært enkelt innredet, og badet spesielt var nedslitt […] og lite innbydende. På badegulvet krøp små maur på sprukne fliser - dusjen hadde forheng med ekkel skittrand nederst. Renholdet var godt, men rommene trenger sårt oppussing. Vi savnet også plass og stativ for å tørke klær/håndklær. Frokosten var -etter norsk standard- meget enkel- og bestod av loff/toast, en type ost og skinke, samt et utvalg syltetøy + kaffe, vann og juice. 2 av 8 dager var det kokt egg. Stranden nedenfor er kunstig og pent laget- en rullesteins-strand. Sjøen var fin, men det fløt endel avføring fra de mange endene som er der.
