"Really bad odor from the bathroom"

I closed the bathroom door, which helped with the smell of the room, but had to face the nauseating odor when I went into the bathroom. The hotel staff told me I couldn't open the windows, so other than changing rooms, I just had to suffer through it. I was only there for one night, though, so I just dealt with it. The showers are very tiny and high off the ground, and the bathroom is pretty cramped, which made maneuvering out of the shower a little dicey. Other than that, the hotel is beautiful and clean with good amenities, and the staff was really nice.

However, the staff more than made up for the mix up. My only recommendation would be to limit smokers who dine at the restaurant to one part of the balcony. We loved sitting on the balcony and enjoying the beautiful view during breakfast. However, very often we were forced to sit next to chain smokers. We will stay at this hotel again the next time we are in Antalya.

We always found something good to eat and fun to do. There isn't much else in this area of Lara beach. You should expect to stay on hotel grounds or take excursions into Antalya city center or surrounding attractions. There are a few shops nearby but not much interesting.

I booked this room based on reviews, but this was one of the worst places I have stayed in yet.For a standard room it was TINY. There was no place to move if you have more than one person. You pay for the nice curtains and the nice armour. We had to leave before breakfast was served, which started at 0800, and in all the places I have stayed, 0800 was […] NEVER a time that breakfast started. The front desk said they would pack us togo breakfast which turned out to be hard bread, on piece of cucumber, a tomato and a slice of bologna. The bed was hard as a rock and if one person took a shower, you had to wait for the pressure to build back up in order for the next person to take a shower, which took hours. I culd go on on . Old town is the place to stay when visiting Antalya. This hotel is right in the center of old town and its premises are lovely, but the room itself was only mediocre. This is a small hotel in an excellent location in the middle of the old city of Antalya. The staff is friendly, conversant in five languages and eager to be of assistance. The rooms are small but well appointed. The beds are old and need to be replaced in the very near future. Bathrooms are fine, great showers, lots of windows and good AC. It is an Art Hotel, in that the second floor has an exhibit of local art but in the week we were there we never saw anyone looking around. Lovely pool area and lots of outdoor garden seating for reading, drinking tea or raki or as, many did, smoking. The hotel says it is smoke free but there is a great deal of flexibility to that statement. On two occasions we had to relocate our breakfast table due to the smoke from others, but it is all outdoors and it was easy to move around. Our room in the sister hotel was VERY SMALL. Between the end of the bed and the windows there was only about a foot of space, no chair, no nightstand lamps, no place to open the suitcases. No power outlets in the room. The bathroom was also tiny. One had to sit diagonally on the toilet! (and I'm only 5'3"!). This hotel was very well located, quiet, clean with good room size. Room lighting was too dim for reading, with no lighting or electrical outlet at the desk. We informed them about the strong intolerable sewer gas smell in the room. I stayed in the Mediterra Art hotel for 3 nights as I was attending a conference in a modern conference centre, a 10 minutes walk away. The area is lovely, especially in the evening and night time. "Nice place but reservation failed"
Nice Hotel, typical old Turkish house, in the historic center, very close to the shopping center and bazar. When I reached the hotel there was a problem with the reservation, my friends were sent to another hotel but with lower services. The swimming pool is a really small (but there is one) as weel as the rooms I got; this one needs also to be renewed […] and some furnitures repaired or replaced. I also noted that wooden houses are noisy. But the employees are very helpful and everything is clean. Parking a car is a nightmare, as well as finding the hotel even with a GPS. Dans l'ensemble nous sommes contents, l'hotel est charmant et bien situé. Nous avons été un peu déçus par la qualité de la chambre car nous avions reservé une catégorie luxe avec un jacuzzi et nous avons eu une chambre assez banale sans jacuzzi. Le buffet du petit déjeuner aurait gagné à avoir des fruits ou au moins proposer un vrai jus d'orange (en […] vente partout dans le pays.....)or nous avons eu droit 2 fois à des pommes!!!! Le veilleur de nuit devait nous reveiller à 4h30 par téléphone le dernier jour pour pouvoir nous rendre à l'aéroport. Mais il nous a oublié. C'est nous qui l'avons réveillé à 5h15. Voila, même si le personnel était gentil, nous avons trouvé la qualité de service un peu light par rapport à ce qui était annoncé et de ce fait la prestation semble un peu surtarifée. Super gelegen inmitten der Altstadt. Die ganze Altstadt und auch alle angrenzenden Sehenswürdigkeiten lassen sich prima zu Fuß erreichen. Nach einem zweiwöchigen Segeltörn war der Auftenthalt Medieterra Art Hotel geradezu ideal, um wieder die Annehmlichkeiten der Zivilisation genießen zu können. Da Hotel liegt sehr zentral mitten im Zentrum. Als Ausgangspunkt für die Stadterkundung und den Genuß des lebendigen Nachtlebens Cagliaris perfekt.
