We stayed for one night at the Bellasara as my band had a show in Paso Robles. It was the only thing available in the area that night, so we paid through the nose. The room looked great, lots of fancy amenities and it was very clean. It was also impossible to sleep in. The room had 2 refrigerators that cycled noisily all night long. The A/C was extremely […] noisy and had the blowing power for an entire house. The walls were thin and the doors were spring loaded to slam loudly (at 7am, after getting fitful sleep since 1 AM this was unwelcome). The restaurant and room service certainly seemed high-end, but good luck finding anything simple or reasonably priced. (Forget it if you have kids). There's also nothing to eat besides Subway and a taco shop within 5 miles. We won't be going back. Read more

We wanted our stay to be relaxing and enjoyable so chose La Bellasera. We weren't disappointed at all. The room was great, the staff helpful and friendly and the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back again.

My husband and I stayed here for a wedding because the hotel for the wedding guests was sold out. I think we got the better deal. Our room was great and my husband booked an in room massage which was fabulous. I would definitely recommend to stay here.

Great place to stay and relax. After a each day of wine tasting, it was nice to come back and relax in a great room with great amenities. Although the food at the restaurant was a bit pricey, it still featured a great menu and wine list to match.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely 2-night stay here. Normally we are mid-range hotel stayers, but wanted something a bit more indulgent this trip. The property was beautiful and the patios/grounds were great! We […] had a king suite that was very spacious, and nicely appointed with high-end finishes. The room was super quiet; we never heard our neighbor's voices or TV thru the walls. We loved the computer and internet provided in the room! (No need to pull ours out!) The bed was very comfortable and the shower was luxurious. We felt fully spoiled the entire weekend!! The staff was helpful, friendly and efficient (turn-down service, great waiters, pleasant housekeeping, etc). In true Central Coast style, they were not pretentious. We enjoyed nice music in the bar in the evening and the restaurant on site was quite good. We did not experience the spa treatments, so I can't comment on that. We enjoyed one dinner there and both breakfasts. Deliciously prepared and presented. Our only complaint would be the limited wattage of those "efficient" CFL bulbs. They are only good for mood lighting...but that's pretty par for the course in most hotels these days.. To read, you needed to be at the desk (with the real task light) or by the window in the bedroom (if it was daytime). Since we weren't doing much reading other than the morning newspaper and then mapping out our wine tasting tour, it was not a real problem. Overall, the stay was a bit of a splurge for us, but we would definitely stay again for a luscious, romantic weekend...it was worth every penny. Read more

We have stayed here numerous times, but this time was a bit different in that the front desk staff was not friendly, they weren't unfriendly but I think they could use a refresher customer service class to make guests feel welcomed. I booked and prepaid for a deluxe spa room with jacuzzi tub well in advance of my trip because i knew it would be a busy weekend. When i got to the hotel, the desk clerk told me they were over booked and that i would be given a standard room. As a consolation they offered us free breakfast, which was not good. We met three other couples at the hotel […] that had the same experience. Due to the holiday weekend they were getting a premium for the deluxe rooms and did not want to honor the price that we booked the room for through Hotels.com. Needless to say, i was very disappointed! They could have called in advance and let us know that they were over booked and i would have re-booked elsewhere. We were only there for one night (regretfully) but would have preferred to camp out there in the hotel much longer! Room was fabulous, clean, and had every detail a traveler could hope for. The room was enormous (we had a two room suite with bedroom and sitting area and step down jacuzzi for two). There was a large flat screen in both rooms and even […] a computer to use on the desk with free wi-fi and the tv in the sitting area was capable of receiving Internet using a Bluetooth keypad they gave us. The rooms (suites) are spacious and very comfortable, but the hotel is located just off Highway 101 (my view was of the parking lot facing the Hamptons inn across). The pool is on the small side, and with freeway traffic noise the pool area is not really very relaxing. Aside from the lovely rooms, not a special destination.

Had a short and good stay here. No surprises. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Spacious room and well designed. Enjoyed the amenities. Good guest services. Hotel is just a 10 minute drive to the town center of Paso Robles. No problem if you have a car. We will certainly be back to this hotel.

They upgraded us to a room with a hot tub for free once they found out we were newlyweds! nice basic hotel, which is what we expected and paid for, but we thought we were staying in santa barbara (as per the address) but its actually in a small town just north of santa barbara so assuming you want to go out for dinner, drink etc... you need to get in your car and get back on the highway and drive about 5 miles back south. that was disapointing. […] however, if you're not actually looking to go to santa barbara and just want a quiet overnight in a nice basic hotel with good size rooms, good service etc... than this fits the bill. our only complaint is the location, and assuming we were closer to downtown santa barbara, so the complaint may be unfair. De suite was prachtig en lekker groot, alleen wat lawaaierig omdat naast de deur een flinke kier was die veel geluid doorliet. Er was een open hal waardoor het geluid van het restaurant en de bar in de suite te horen was. Het uitzicht […] op de highway was niet fraai vanaf het, overigens grote en mooie, balkon. De service van de receptie was uitstekend; we kregen een andere suite dan we gereserveerd hadden en ze maakten dit helemaal goed met ons. Kreeg van het hoofd Receptie 2 lekkere flessen lotion van een uitstekend merk van de Spa. Swietne miejsce na skorzystanie ze spa, pokoje w najwyzszym standardzie, jedzenie wybitne... wina... az brak słów! Obsługa wzorowa. Minusem jest spora odległość od centrum miasteczka, bez samochodu ani rusz, no i bliskość autostrady. Co może być plusem jako punkt dojazdowy.

We stayed at this hotel a couple of days in June during the weekdays. Spent most of the days by the pool, witch was not crowded. Drove down to Pismo Beach, about 30 minutes drive. Very nice and clean hotel with a pleasent staff. Good lunch and dinner choises at the hotel restaurant. Would recommend it if you wanted to get away to relax!
