I paid $571 and 2 days worth of parking for $18 per day making the cost for the room alone $607 for 2 days. The room I viewed on the picture when I booked the room looked 10 times better than the dinky small little room I actually got. I had a lady I care about with me.Trying to impress her with the nice room close to River Str and it was small. Not […] the room I was lead to believe I was getting. The carpets were dirty Etc. It was embarrassing. The City was fun at night, The scenery was nice, The Restaurants were nice. But the Holiday Inn can't take credit for Savannah being beautiful only the City can. We went down stairs Saturday morning expecting at least a continental breakfast for free. To our surprise their were some fruit,Nice eggs with peppers onions and grits. We thought how nice. After making a plate. A small woman approach's us and ask are you with the wedding party? We say why no. The next thing you know she is at the computer screen ringing up a bill for about $28.00. We could have went to a nice Restaurant down town with ambiance for that. So quite frankly I will never! Stay at a Holiday Inn ever again! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel close to the riverfront"
The hotel is nice. Staff was nice. It was in historic downtown and close to the riverfront. Comfortable clean room. The only somewhat negative is it is mandatory valet for $18 per day. Wish they had a self park option.Genuine Expedia guest review

"likely wouldn't stay here again"
the hotel was fine, that's it, just fine, peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, furniture was old and outdated. I thought it was overpriced for what it was. walking around Savannah I saw comparable hotels that looked alot nicer. the pool was the size of an oversized hot tub, barely a pool. the photos are deceiving. "Try Another Location"
The overall experience was ok, but for 150+ per night, I think I will try another hotel next time. Good: Staff was very friendly, room was exceptionally clean, hotel itself was very neat and well maintained. Bad: A/C didnt really cool the room until about 5am, no parking only valet for $18 per night, only three bath towels (had to call for more), last […] but not least the huge pool on this websites picture is a myth actual pool was a 20 X 50 and in a shaded location(Freezing Cold) in June. "Great location for the historic district."
I stayed here previously when it was the Four Points Sheraton. As far as I could tell there was only a name change. The hotel is still great, staff accommodating and rooms nice. No complaints at all.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel staff was more than accommodating and the hotel itself was very impressive for a Holiday Inn. I think it's probably the nicest Holiday Inn I've ever stayed in and in a really convenient location.Genuine Expedia guest review
Very upscale hotel, but beware there is no parking unless you pay for valet, and no smoking on premises so you have to walk down to the street, but other than that no complaints!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is reasonably priced and provides great customer service. There was only one negative and it was booking through hotels.com. The room we booked said it would sleep 4 with a bed and a rollaway bed, but when we arrived at the hotel it was a room with a king bed, no rollaway. Rollaway beds costs extra although hotels.com makes it look as if […] rollaway beds are simply an option available for that room. It is extra so prepare! "Just changed hands, so still a bit unorganized."
We booked our double queen room several months ago, & when we arrived, they didn't have a room ready for us. We left to do some sightseeing & ate & were gone for most of the day, then returned early evening to the hotel. At this time, they did have a room ready for us, but it was not a double queen, so again we waited. Finally, they found us the type […] of room we had requested & we got settled in. The hotel was old, but was satisfactory. We were told they had just changed hands & were going to be renovating the hotel. I must say the staff was very professional & did everything they could to accommodate us. The manager was exceptional. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great value and close to everything."
We visited Savannah for a girls weekend and enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Savannah. The staff was very friendly and helpful and our room was clean and bed was comfortable. "Great location in downtown"
This hotel is located right downtown Savannah, walking distance away to all the sights. The breakfast buffet, though a little pricey, is excellent, true Southern Comfort. The dinner menu is limited, but everything was delectable. The view from the 5th floor exceptional! I would stay there again!Genuine Expedia guest review
"We had a hard time finding the Four Pointes Hotel!"
We knew the address of the Four Pointes Hotel and we just could not find the address. We finally stopped in front of a building where a crane was blocking the front entrance and were told that "Yes" this was the correct place but it had just changed to a Holiday Inn and they were in the middle of changing signs. We were told that we could not check […] in before 4 pm as they were transferring over to a new computer system. After a long day of driving, this wasn't what we wanted to hear. The room was clean but small. We did love the location though - close to the river & market area. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"This isn't actually a Sheraton Hotel."
I drove around in circles looking for the Sheraton property to finally discover it is now a Holiday Inn. Someone should have told me that this was happening. If I wasn't in a hurry to get to a wedding I would have immediately checked out and demanded a refund but I had 30 minutes to get ready for a wedding I was in town for. The room had no water, the […] refrigerator was not cold and the furniture looked very cheap. I pulled a drawer out and the handle came off! They also charge an additional $18/night to park. Also, the valet couldn't figure out how to drive my car so I had to instruct her on how to operate a Saab ignition. I will probably never book a room on Expedia again nor will I ever stay at this dump again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"OK hotel, unexpected issues"
The hotel lobby area was nice and the staff was kind, but I wouldn't stay again. The entrance on the main road has an area to pull into, but both doors are locked and there is no staff nearby to help direct guests. The main entrance is on a side street with limited room. When we arrived, one of several tour busses we saw that week at the hotel was unloading […] which completely blocked the only area to pull in and there was no option to park yourself. We were not informed when booking that the only options for parking were to find an off site spot on the street by yourself or to pay $18 per night for the valet. The room itself was a bit outdated and most of the furniture was scratched up, though the bathroom was a good size. Our second day there, no one ever came to clean the room. Also, we were not informed the hotel was changing ownership. We literally went to sleep in a Sheraton and woke up in a Holiday Inn. "Do NOT stay here"
Hotel was transitioning to a Holiday Inn, so whatever name it's going by, it's still the same hotel. We had to wait more than three hours after check-in time for our room to be ready. The hotel offered us meaningless free breakfast coupons (we don't eat breakfast), and refused our suggestions for a similar value compensation for the delay. The room […] was filthy and tiny, with nowhere to sit but on the bed. Bathroom was tiny and disgusting as well. The pool was gross as well, with no towels to be found. Entire staff was rude and just looked like they didn't want to be there. The only thing that was decent about the hotel was its location at the end of downtown, but isn't that saying something when the nicest thing to say about it has to do with leaving it? There's no shortage of hotels nearby, pay the extra money for one of those, as this one isn't worth your time or money. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not as advertised!"
The hotel was not at all what we thought we were getting. We were not able to check-in to our room until 2 hours after the actual check-in time. The valet service failed to bring me my car and then brought me the wrong car. The room was the smallest hotel room that I’ve ever stayed in. There was no picture on the website with a room as small as ours. […] Other amenities advertised on the website that were not provided: Morning newspaper, full length mirror, working gym, bar/lounge area (the bar was permanently closed). Didn't get a room until 3:30. My room didn't have a shower curtain; I had to ask for one. Halls were full of boxes, etc. So, I had to maneuver to get my luggage down the hall to my room. When I met my colleagues in the lobby it was full of people waiting on rooms. This is just a bad business practice. Management needs to get it together.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Expensive and lacking"
No soap, no TV remote upon arrival. Broken coffee maker-not corrected for over an hour in the morning. Fitness room under construction- not usable. However, the manager was great, responded to all these by waiving cost of room.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Within walking distance of riverfront."
Very nice although the rooms are somewhat small. We were a short walk to riverfront shops and restaurants. The only issue we had was that our room faced the pool. The hotel is in a good location. I was traveling with coworkers. We had to wait for our rooms to be ready and two of us got rooms before the other two did. "This was a good hotel in a great location"
The hotel itself was good. Nothing spectacular, but not bad. It was kind of annoying that there was only street parking available to hotel guests. The only reason I would not recommend this hotel to friends is because of the $18.00 per night charge to park your car. The staff indicated that I could find a spot on the street to park or pay them $18.00 per night to have my car parked by valet. If you've been to Savannah, you know that it's difficult to find street parking where you're able to keep […] your car there for any long length of time. "Four Points Sheraton"
Overall I was disappointed, as it seemed like the staff was more interested in doing some kind of huge overall cleaning with giant fans and hoses in the hallway (I tripped on a blue coiled one coming out of my room Tuesday morning). "Nice Hotel, average"
The staff and service was great, but the condition of the room was a bit average. The bathroom's shower door was leaky and the faucet also leaked. The toilet also had a small leak in it which caused the water to turn on every few minutes so we had to keep the bathroom door closed so as not to hear the running toilet. sheets were dirty with a stain. Once I called the front desk, a staff member came and handed me a wad of sheets. as if I was expected to change them myself, to which I replied, "I'm not changing them" she huffed and began to change the sheets while explaining, defensively, they use a laundry service and all sheets cannot be clean. I replied they should […] not put them on the bed if they are stained or dirty. She removed the sheets and began picking at the mattress pad. I went to get a closer look and it was FULL of hair. I looked at the underside of the comforter and it was stained as well. I told her I was not staying in that room. She abruptly left and I called the front desk. We were moved to another room and floor which was noisy throughout the night due to thin walls. The room was large, clean and comfortable. I didn't care for the location of my room being right outside the pool but it didn't turn into a problem. "Very good....almost GREAT!"
The hotel itself and its staff were great! Location was convenient to the riverfront area and the St. Patrick's Day festivities. However, it was frustrating that the hotel management chose to rent out the hotel parking lot for St. Patrick's Day parking. This resulted in me having to park my car at the convention center across the river, take the ferry […] back across the river, and walk about six blocks to the hotel. It was also concerning that if you get more than a couple blocks from the hotel in one direction, the neighborhood gets very "sketchy" and "Police Drug Checkpoint" signs are posted about every block. "Stinky room, hotel 1 block from projects."
When we arrived in our room, it had not been properly cleaned. There were still wet washcloths in the shower from the last guest. There was hair in the drain. The toilet had not been cleaned. There were no garbage bags in the garbage cans. It looked as if our bedsheets had not been washed. The room had an overall general funk to it. I called down to […] the front desk immediately and they sent someone up. She tried to tell me everything was clean but I sweettalked her into cleaning since we had a baby with us we had to bathe in the bathtub. She wiped down the bathroom, but insisted the bedsheets had been washed. She then handed me some garbage bags and told me to put them in the closet. She also must've noticed the funk in our room because she sprayed it with room spray. For the rest of our stay we had to change our own garbage and some days we got coffee, some days we didn't. Also the crib provided for our baby was small and metal and they gave it to us folded up with the sheet already on it. I am glad I brought my own sheet from home. I will say the front desk staff and the restaurant staff were very friendly and professional. Oh except the male concierge I asked for suggestions and although he was doing completely nothing was annoyed with me for asking. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

The hotel staff was very polite and helpful throughout our stay.
