The staff were very friendly and helpful.(especially with directions) Nice hotel right on the beach. would like to have had a few more restaurants within walking distance. Restaurant in hotel was a bit pricey. Not much selection. If loking for something close to the beach I would stay here again.

We loved the location - room was spacious with a balcony facing the ocean. It had the extras like refrigerator, microwave, full size coffee pot. The pool was very nice, perfect for relaxing, the landscaping made it feel very secluded. We only had drinks at the restaurant, again, great location right on the beach. We will stay here again.

There are only five hotels ON THE BEACH in Ft Lauderdale. This one is the smallest with only 26 rooms, but it shines brightly. The staff was great, the place has had a major makeover recently and the on-site cafe is delicious, the pool is sheltered from the wind and beach towels are provided here or on the beach side. No need to rent any chairs or umbrellas […] as they are an amenity and the umbrellas are put up for you. I just cannot say enough good things about this place. Amanda, the gal running the place bent over backwards for us. We stayed here before leaving on a cruise, and again on our return and have already booked a year out for the next cruise. If you are considering this property, do not delay in booking as they seem to be sold out regularly. It seems to be popular with locals who just want a day at the beach. Read more

Had a good stay in general. Parking is very challenging near the hotel, and we had two cars (the hotel can only handle 1 car per guest). Hotel did accommodate us, though the night clerk kinda freaked out about the extra car when we got home late on the 2nd night of our stay. The other hotel employees were very pleasant. Other problem we reported to […] management was that the sliding glass door to the porch didn't actually have a lock anymore. So the only thing keeping it closed was a piece of wood that was about 3" too short, which didn't seem to safe on the 2nd floor. Oh, and the shower was hooked up backwards so it started hot and then more turning would make it cold (not a problem once I figured out why the water was taking so long to get hot). The view from the room was fantastic -- it's right on the beach, and you had to get close to the porch door to see anything but ocean. Read more

This place is on the beach so is amazing for that reason. There is a restaurant and since the beach is private you can drink while you tan! The staff are pretty friendly and the views from the rooms area amazing. Drawbacks were the room wasn't very clean when we got there, especially the bathroom. Not a modern hotel, however it is very affordable, every room offers great views of the ocean, rooms are large and comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful and their intimate little restaurant over looking the beach/ocean has some tasty fish tacos! I will return when back in the area.

Carlos at the front desk was very nice and accommodated my request for an early check-in which I greatly appreciated. The property though clearly older, was clean and if you don't mind 'no frills' pretty good for a property located directly on the beach. My only major complaint is the lack of free internet service in the rooms. The ad on hotel.com advised […] that there was free internet access. However, what they neglect to tell you is that it is only free i the pool area and the lobby and that they charge $5 per day for access in the room. I just find it a bit ridiculous that they would allow it for free by the pool but block it from free access in the rooms as the property is not that large plus it would serve to forward excellent customer service to have complete free internet access on the entire property. To charge customer an additional $5 seems a bit bullish. Read more

This is our favorite place to stay because of the views and perfect beach. Owner appears very concerned about her guests. The elevator was broken and it was very inconvenient and I felt a discount was in order but that didn't happen. I really enjoyed my stay. The only problem was the bathtub drain in my room, it was very slow to drain! But I guess it is expected staying on the beach. The Sandbar Grill located in the hotel was wonderful! The food and service was top notch. I will definitely come back to stay.

Pillow top bed and pillows were EXTREMELY comfortable and clean. Mini-fridge, club chair, desk, and end table. Balcony was a liiiiiiiiitle small, but fit two chairs, what more do you need. We were able to see into a upgraded suite that has a living room and a little bit larger balcony and looked great. Hotel has a pool but was colder than the ocean when we went!! Wi-Fi available in Lobby/Common Area, and in restaurant. Restaurant was good and provided outside tables with umbrellas, tv's, and a great view. Done eating? Step 3 steps off the porch onto the beach. TRY THE PULLED PORK SANDWICH... MMMM... Very central location only minutes from good food, bars/clubs, rentals, mini-boardwalk.
