This hotel was very nice clean and the rooms were wonderful beds were very comfortable and I couldn't have been happier. The hotel staff was very nice and the resturant next door has great pizza if your a pizza eater.

every thing was great except every time we returned,our keys would not work. we had to go to the front desk to get them rekeyd. it was not areal problem, just an inconveniance.

I booked through Hotels.com. I booked this hotel based on reviews from other visitors. I must say, it was much more than I expected! It was soo clean and the beds were so comfortable. The movie theater is awsome! We stayed in a balcony room. (217) The room was huge with a jacuzzi. The bathroom was very roomy. Housekeeping was very helpful. I am somewhat […] of a "picky person" when it comes to choosing somewhere to stay. I don't wanna lay in a bed that I could only imagine what has been in. I loved it this hotel, the kids loved this hotel, and my wallet loved this hotel!!! It was the best part of the trip!! Would recommend to everyone. It is a VERY long drive to Pigeon Forge, Nashville, or any other major attraction. The timezone is different from Crossville - Spring City. The Howard Johnson's in Spring City exceeded our expectations! Clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. In addition to a flat screen TV, our room had a comfortable recliner, a full length mirror, microwave oven and fridge. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was very clean, updated, roomy and comfortable. The breakfast was a light continental breakfast. We were very satisfied with our stay. There is even a 12-seat theater in which to watch movies. Pretty cool! We enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is conveniently located on hwy 27, easy to get to. Also, it was noticably clean, including the foyer which was very inviting. The room including bathroom was so clean you could eat from the floor. The only problem with the hotel that I had was one morning when the maid came to clean, I told her I was leaving momentarily and asked if she could […] come back in a few minutes. Well, she never came back and when I returned that evening the room was just as I had left it. I reported it to the front desk clerk who just shrugged and said she would let her manager know. Front desk people were "SUPER " ! ! Very nice room, need dimmer switch in bath, lights are to bright first thing in the morning. The breakfest room needs improving ! ! This was my second time staying at this hotel and I loved it the first time but it was even better this time. The hotel is extremely clean and up to date. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to leave. The staff are all friendly and helpful. An added bonus attraction---there is a movie theatre in the hotel!!

The hotel was very nice, clean, comfortable and roomy except for the breakfast area. It was very cramped and needed 2 toasters and 2 waffle makers! The train noise did not bother us at all but we could hear people walking above us (we stayed on the ground floor). Overall, I would recommend this hotel!

I enjoyed this- it is in my hometown and I went only to give my wife a break from my children. So we went here for a stay. It was a cozy place. The dining area for breakfast was a little cramped, but the volume of people who stay here on any given day is slight so that's no surprise. Nice little eatery next door. The fitness room is just cardio equip […] and only two machines. HoJo Spring City has its own THEATER! My kids were thrilled! It was pretty neat. Service was good and everyone was very pleasant. The hotel was clean and quite. Set up very nice. Town was quite and there were no kids or drunks hanging out in the parking lot all night. We left things in the back of our pickup unsecured and nothing was bothered. There is a McDonalds in easy walking distance. I only found two really not so bad things. The first one doesn't bother me but there is […] no elevator that I saw if you have trouble climbing stairs. The other is to get a room in the back of the hotel as there is a busy train track across the street in front. It's not real loud but when I travel I just don't sleep as well and I heard about three or four each night. I'm not one to live in a hotel so a good quite clean place to sleep is all I'm looking for and this place is great for me. I'd stay again with no problem. Read more

I chose this location based on reviews from others who had stayed here at the same time of year. My sister and I were traveling for the 127 garage sale in early August. We checked in pretty late in the evening, and the front desk staff was very cheerful. The parking lot is kind of small and it was difficult to get a good space for unloading the car. […] The room was large, the beds very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. However, the door was too big for the door frame and I have a bruise on my shoulder from constantly having to throw my weight against it to open it. There is a train track in close proximity and it sounded a loud whistle at 12:20AM and 3:30 AM, waking me each time. The breakfast room is very tiny, only room for 2 tables and maybe 4 people. The counter is cramped and only 1-2 people at a time can stand at it. Mostly you're just in the way of each other all the time. Food selection is very limited - cereal, bagel or toast, overripe bananas, juice and coffee. I know it's continental, but I've stayed in other hotel chains who make more of an effort at using the breakfast as a selling point. I can't say it's a bad hotel, because it's not, but given the competition in the area, it just doesn't stack up well. I would not choose to stay here again. Read more

We were traveling along 127 for the longest yard sale and decided to stay off the beaten path!! What a great choice. Price was extremely reasonable for such a NICE hotel. Rooms were well equipped. Incredible comfy bed as well as a LAZYBOY chair suitable for napping. Towels and bed linens were nice. Restaurant next door was reasonable and good. Evening […] front desk attendant was wonderfully helpful and friendly. Only complaints shower had very little flow and continental breakfast was a little less than expected. This hotel was fantastic! For a weekend, the price was very, very reasonable. You already spend enough on vacation, you dont want the burden of an expensive hotel room also. The servce was exceptional and the people very courteous. The hotel and room was very nice and clean. The room was outstanding (unlike some hotels you stay at that have that nasty […] carpet and not to mention the nasty bed linens,) Not the Howard Johnson, the bed was so comfortable, I didnt want to get up from it. The bathroom was awesome, if I had to say I liked the bathroom and bed better than my own! There was a feature in the room that was unexpected...a hot tub! (Although we didnt get to use it because our son was staying in the room with us) :) I would definately stay here again and we plan to do so again before this year is over. One more thing, there is a restaurant right next door that gives you 10% of your meal ticket when you show them your room card...another plus! We arrived late about 9:30pm, I think they close at 10pm and we got there at 9:45pm, and even they closed in 15 minutes they stayed open for us. We were very impressed with the entire weekend. It's not very often that we receive that kind of exceptional service unless you are staying at an astronomically priced hotel. Read more

The only thing missing was an elevator, no one asked if there were rooms downstairs for people who had trouble with stairs, like me four knee surgeries. So this is a drawback. The rest of our stay was great.
