I gave this hotel a lower rating because they put us in an unihabitable room to begin with. Not clean! The odor was something even to make a cat lover CRINGE. AND THEY CHARGED $25 extra to do it. There is no excuse, not even pet use, for them not to either fix that or simply not rent it out. Good news is the staff was able to give me a different room […] quickly. But, honestly, if I hadn't been so tired, I would have looked for another hotel. There are LOTS of choices in Medford OR. Also, the beds are small if you are over 6 foot tall. The beds were uncomfortable. We got a studio & expected bigger. The breakfast wasn't all the greatest for being continental. Our toilet ran constantly. The stopper in the bathroom was broken. Next time, we will be staying at Homewood Suites, no matter how much more expensive it is.

Road noise was a problem so we moved to another room that was much better. Other than the beds being hard and small (the largest they have is Queen), this is a nice property with clean rooms, great service, and nice people.

The hotel was conveniently located and seemed clean and updated from the lobby area. We actually stayed here twice during our vacation, taking a 2 day break in the middle to go to the coast. The first room we had seemed very clean (would have rated it a 4 or 4.5), but the second room we had was not so clean and had a really BAD odor! As soon as we walked […] in to the room, we walked back out and requested a different room. This hotel accepts pets in some rooms, and this one smelled strongly of pet urine that they had desperately tried to cover up with strong cleaners! Gross! The room they moved us to was better, but still had an odd smell. The rooms also have a small kitchen in them, and we think the smell in this one was due to the previous person's fragrant cooking - perhaps some Indian food with curry?? It was not too bad, though, so we went ahead and stayed in that room. The beds at this hotel are horrible! The are way too squishy and soft! When you sit down or lay down, you sink into the top of the mattress as though it were a huge marshmallow. It was not the most comfortable way to sleep - felt like I could not move because I was enveloped in the smooshy mattress! The one and only ice machine was broken, so we had to make a second trip out that night to the local Walmart to get ice - very inconvenient! The little "store" in the lobby was also out of bottled water - so got that at Walmart, too. Desk clerks are nice, but forgot to give our wake-up call! Read more

While they offer many amenities in the room, they are over crowded with furniture and feels tight...with only a foot or two between bed & wall, bed & other furniture, plus galley kitchenette. They went overboard with two big closets (wasted much needed space for moving around) and fell short with a tiny bathtub (no depth for hot baths), plus no countertop […] space in bathroom... all brought my score down. Upside, night to have frig. & make my own mocha before heading to airport at 5am (nothing open at this hour). Prefer to stay at the Hyatt House (much more room), but none in the area. Even though it was only a two day stay we really enjoyed our visit. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions. Only down side is it's on a very busy street and traffic noise was sometimes bothersome.

We stopped for one night to see a play at Ashland (15 minutes drive). The hotel is sparkling clean and brand new. The room had fully equipped kitchen, quite, free wireless and our 8 YO slept on the sofa bed. Very nice stay, rooms are quiet, clean, beds are very comfortable, the mini kitchen was great to be able to have coffee, heat up items. Nice breakfast in morning that was free and you could take back to your rooms. Very nice.

We lived in Medford for 25 yrs before moving to Georgia. We know all of the hotels and their history. This hotel is in an excellent location; freeway access, local grocery and liquor store, fast food restaurants, dog park, medical facilities, the quaint town of Jacksonville, skiing at Mt. Ashland, hiking on Table Rock, the several great wineries, the […] mall, The Rink (ice skating) and the list goes on and on. The hotel is pet friendly, has a quick easy breakfast, internet access, fresh coffee in the lobby 24/7, a work out room, a pool, and VERY comfortable beds (which is one of the most important item on my list). This was a lovely and affordable alternative to staying in Ashland for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. It was roughly an 18 minute drive to the festival, the hotel was nestled between Hwy 99 and I-5, and there was a Fred Meyer w/ groceries within walking distance. What it lacked in a scenic view (highway, highway or busy street) it made up for in convenience. […] The pool was clean, the rooms were well maintained, and the ac was relatively quiet and efficient. There was a fair amount of kitchen dishes and pots and pans, but we were sorely lacking a spatula (oops).
