"Affordable Motel near Nauset Beach"
Rodeway Inn is one of the typical motels nearby Nauset beach. It has numbers of restaurants and stores (including liquor) within 3 minutes walk, so it would be convenient if you're planning to set a base camp near the beach. It has a outside pool which is quite enjoyable and also has a yard which allows you to grill BBQ. Building and furniture is not […] new one but well maintained and clean. You can't rate it as a 4 star hotel, but it definitely worth to be rated as 3 stars. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice motel not far from Newport"
Accomodating owners clean rooms. The only negative was the complimentary breakfast which was a bit below standard.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenience trumps luxury"
For the money this place is a good value. Convenient and friendly and clean...but it is an older motel and it looks it. Very low water pressure in rm 32 and it took about 15 min to get hot water... I have stayed multiple times before so I know other rooms are better. I will go back but try to avoid #32.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pitch a tent on the beach instead"
This place is awful. The furnishings are old and drabby. I had to let the water run for nearly 10 minutes before getting any hot water. The shower was the wimpiest I've ever seen - a garden hose would have been better. You'd be better off pitching a tent on the beach.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not recommended...There has to be a better option!"
This place was horrible. From the very beginning with the rude clerk at the check-in, it was a stay that I'd like to forget. First of all, from the outside, it looks like a great/charming hotel. Also, the rate that was offered that night wasn't too bad for a summer night on the Cape. Probably the only good part of this hotel (aside from the way it looks) […] was it's location, and fairly comfortable beds. The bad...: The room smelled like mildew due to the fact that they haven't renovated the place in at least 15 years. The smell was quite bad! The coffee machine didn't work, as well as half of the outlets. That continental breakfast they offer? It's nothing more than some frozen bagels and juice. They also don't offer 24 hour coffee, which to me is a requisite that is met by even the cheapest of hotels. The bathroom had a timed red light for one of it's lights. What was the purpose of that?! Finally, the walls were paper thin, so any noise from the outside or next door was heard quite well. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good value, quality, and location"
Just a brief stay off season to bike on the Cape Cod Rail Trail and found the motel in good condition and a great location with shops and restaurants nearby. The room was clean, well appointed, and the staff helpful and accomodating. Free wi-fi and parking is always a plus. I would recommend and would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This motel was clean, efficiently operated and convenient for an overnite stay while visiting family. The front desk manager was polite and friendly. I beleive it is good value for the money.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good location for Cape Cod travel"
OK Rodeway. Mr Patel needs to look at electric power wiring. My kettle use caused the lights to dim. Suspect too many outlets for supply.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This is an old fashioned drive up motel. The motel looks like it could use some renovation. The rooms have been recently painted and the grounds were nicely maintained. Furniture and decor are out of date. It was difficult to adjust the AC to a comfortable temperature. For the price and location it wasn't bad.

"Well-priced for the area, but still just a motel."
07/13/14 IMoveALot Buenos Aires, Argentina
The positives: Spacious room with a large, empty refrigerator. The free continental breakfast was ample for a motel and kept well-stocked. We didn't use the pool, but it looked clean. Good location to reach some of the nicest beaches on the Cape (Coast Guard Beach, Nauset, Skaket), if you have a car. Centrally located to other attractions: 40 minutes to drive to Provincetown, 20 minutes to Chatham. The price was good for the area, if you only want a short stay of a few nights on the Cape. The negatives: it's still just a motel (even though you're paying hotel prices in the summer). The cleaning staff left our front windows opened/unlocked while we were out. The mattress was old and had an indentation in the middle of it that my husband and I kept rolling into while we slept. Rooms could use a makeover. Location is not a nice walking area (on very busy highway without a lot of crosswalks), although there are several restaurants and stores within walking distance. There were a bunch of construction workers apparently living at the motel for summer work and the ones next door to us had some sort of drunken fight at 3am.
"Very Clean, No-Frills, Value Hotel"
07/07/14 soxfan_bill Boston, Massachusetts
Just returned from a 3 night July4th getaway..to the Rodeway Inn. This hotel is perfectly located for an outer-cape holiday; the rooms are sizeable and comfortable; and the pool is well kept. The staff is not only friendly, but it cleanliness is clearly something they pride themselves on which is particularly welcoming as a temporary home-away-from-home. The hotel itself is dated, and in need of an upgrade, sure - but in my experience an upgrade inevitably means prohibitive increases in rates (see Ocean Mist Hotel, West Yarmouth). I have but one suggestion for management - that all housekeeping services should be performed by noon if possible...otherwise, this hotel provides a pleasant stay at a great value.
"Pleasant stay, great value"

We booked the Rodeway Inn for several days over Memorial Day weekend, and had a very nice stay. Our room, although not fancy, was clean and neat and included a refrigerator. The breakfast was satisfying and had ample variety. And the owners were extremely friendly and helpful. It was a good value and was accessible to many popular sights on Cape Cod. We would definitely stay there again.
"Nothing special, but decent"
03/29/14 FlowerLife22 Boulder, Colorado
This was a typical economy style lodging motel. It was a little run-down motel- they are fighting to keep it clean and decent. Price is affordable and comparable to the amenities. No complaints, but no raves either. Just a place to rest your head. I would ask for a second floor room, as there was a bit a noise associated with our room (typical for a motel though). The girl at the front desk was very sweet and helpful.

This has become our regular vacation spot when we are in Orleans. We usually stay here twice a year. A week in the spring and another in the fall. This was our first time in November, and although it was cold and windy outside, it was cozy and warm in the hotel room. The rooms are always clean and neat, and we always see improvements on each visit. Sometimes it's just nice to bring dinner back to the hotel, and with the fridge and microwave it's handy for the left overs the next day. The manager is always available if you need something, and always nice to talk to . It's so handy to walk to town , or the many shops and restaurants in the area. What more could you ask for? You just have to walk down the road a bit, and you can sit and look out over the cove, and not far from Nauset Beach, or Skaket Beach and don't forget the beautiful sunsets at Rock Harbour. It's always sad to leave this place. We had a great week here and can't wait to get back !!
"Great value and location"
09/25/13 John F Green Bay, Wisconsin
Very good value and great mid-Cape location. It's a Rodeway, so bear that in mind. But I've been to Comfort and Quality Inns in this chain that were far inferior. Friendly, helpful owner. Basic carbo-rich continental breakfast. Good overall for people on the go who need a clean, comfortable location to relax and rest.
"Modest, Clean & Comfortable"
09/11/13 Cara S CHRISTIANSBURG
I recently spent several days at this Rodeway Inn, as a last minute trip. Previous reviews were mixed, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the rooms were very clean, neat and tidy; cleaned thoroughly everyday (though sheets changed on alternate days); complimentary toiletries replaced daily as needed. The location is great in terms of proximity to area attractions (Emack & Bolios for ice cream, Nauset Beach is a short drive, Cooke's seafood, and several other restaurants). That was great, however, if you choose to sleep with your windows open, the noise from traffic is quite loud. I solved this problem with some ear plugs, as I wanted that cool gentle breeze blowing through the room. The complimentary continental breakfast was a bit sub-par, but then again, it IS included in your reasonable rate. If you're just looking for a cup of coffee, some juice, and some form of carb, you'll be fine. But then again, the Cotttage Street bakery is walking distance from this fantastic location! Bottom line, I would stay again. No frills, but perfectly clean and acceptable.
"Excellent place to stay."
Spent 3 nights here. Highly recommend. Excellent location for Nat. Seashore hiking & beaches. Half hour to P town. Rooms renovated with bathroom redone in top form. Spacious rooms with desk & dining table. Refrigerator & microwave very useful. Nearby dining, supermarket, & liquor store. Room kept very clean & restocked daily. Quick staff help with minor stuff- new lamp bulb, clock needed to be replaced. Continental breakfast-just that. Sufficient unless you need a Denny's. These 2 seniors plan to return.

First, let me just say I chose this hotel for it's proximity to certain beaches and for the low nightly rate. Based on those two needs, the hotel absolutely delivered. It's a pretty good location in that you can easily drive to many great nearby beaches as well as other local attractions. And, yes, the price is really low which is obviously a plus. Having said that... this place is average at best. Our room definitely could have used some updating. The 70's wallpaper, the pink decor, the light switch that didn't work, the shower that was consistently either too hot or too cold... I think my biggest pet peeve was how dim the lighting was in the room, even after I'd go around and turn on every light. So, it really is not bad if you're just looking for a cheap place to stay while you explore the Cape. But personally next time I'm back in this area I'd probably look into spending slightly more $ for one of the other - many - nearby hotels.
"Great for the price"

Great location. We were able to walk to restaurants and drive to the best beach (Nauset) within 15 minutes. Shopping at Cuffy's and Christmas Tree Shop right up the street. room was clean, pool great, and complimentary breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay again and recommend to others.
