Room was super tiny; no closet; no place to hang clothes; a tiny chair; a tinyer table (perhaps 16 inches diameter); a very tiny mini-refrigerator top served as another table surface; a tiny balcony shared with the next room; one light; A/C would not respond to thermostat... had to manually turn on and off; had to open toilet lid to fix running toilet... […] lid (under a wooden counter top) had not been cleaned in more than a decade; toilet paper way out of reach on opposite wall. Hotel check in was 3:00 p.m. and check out was 10:00 a.m. which I thought was a little early. The pool was excellent and heated. The motel rooms are small but you are not vacationing in your room. There are mostly efficiency units in the building and only a few converted into motel rooms. We met a lot of nice people and will return next year.

Overall, our stay was very nice. Kitchen area/bathroom could really use some up-grading though. View from balcony was great, close proximity to the beach was wonderful and the outdoor pool was very, very nice!!

The area around this hotel is nice it has the beach, other nicer hotels next to it and pulling up you can see its older but may of had potential. Entering the hotel room was very tight and dated, the towels looked dirty, had a bit of a grungy feel to it. I would say if your looking for high end this is not for you. Would I go back to this hotel no.

The housekeeping service was good.. The rooms were smaller than I thought the appliances were old and rusty... I would not drink out of any of their glasses or cups they look very dirty although they said they were clean.. The room smelled very musty.. The cleaning crew had to spray everyday to take the smell out.. It was very difficult to sleep at […] night because the a/c unit made this terrible banking noise.. Motel has not been updated in thirty plus years. Although i have to say rooms were clean. Carpeting had a few stains. Bathroom toilet kept running. The hotel itself and the people there were great. The room (std Queen) was small but adequate and extremely clean. The door frame to the bathroom was cracked so you had to wrestle with the door to get it to close. Did not like that our balcony was shared with the strangers in the room next door, separated by a screen-like partition. We had a very enjoyable stay at the Pier 6600 Hotel. We were in the family suite and it was very comfortable and the beach was fabulous. It was a lot closer then the Wildwood beach. The surrounding area was nice and quiet at night. We loved the restaurant down stairs in the lobby for breakfast.

Arrived late (11.30pm), greeting was soso, was told immediately that we had to be out the next day by 10.00 am, very akward unloading of our luggage that had to carried steps before getting to elevator. The hotel was more than comfortable for a family of 4. It was 3 miles from the boardwalk which meant that you had to pay for parking to go to the main attractions. But the distance was worth it. Diamond Beach near the hotel was quiet and the pool was great. The staff was very helpful with recommendations for the best places to eat.
