We arrived around 8 pm and the desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. There was a problem with our reservation, but he had already taken care of it before we got there and had another room ready for us. He even came up and made up the sofa bed for our kids! We had a cocktail in the lounge before heading to bed. The entire staff was very friendly and all spoke English very well. The breakfast was amazing. A large variety of all kinds of food. Something for everyone! We chose this hotel because of the location. It was about 20 minutes to downtown Stuttgart! We were only there one night, but wished we could have stayed another. Thanks for a great experience!

Remodeled bath with tile floor, tile wainscot and granite counters. Easy check-in. Computer with internet in lobby. Underground parking for a few spaces. Typical and tasty German (continental) breakfast to include eggs, breads/jams, cold meats, cheese, yogurts and cereal. Very, close to Caracella and Friederichsbad, two minute walk and in the middle of shops and dining. Helpful staff.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night and had a great time. Nice, small hotel that was very comfortable and clean. It was attractively decorated and had an old world type of charm. The hotel was situated perfectly in the heart of Baden-Baden's old town and everything was a very short walk. The staff was very attentive and nice. We would definitely stay again.

Very ince and very convient hotel, right off the autobahn between Basel and Frankfurt. This is a modern hotel right in the middle of the Black Forest area. Offenburg is a good starting place for looking at castles,vinyards,and just a neet to stay

stayed here for a couple of nights on route to our main destination was met at reception and was made really welcome. staff friendly and helpful. Good food in the restaurant. could have stayed here for our entire hol. Would come back again!

The hotel was well situated in the Black Forest, close to good hiking trails and other sights. The welcome we received was wonderful and the staff looked after us extremely well - the restaurant serves exceptional food - the German menu was translated happily for us and the service was great. We only wished we had longer in this gem of a place!

Sehr nette Angestellte, hübsche Zimme, tolle Terrasse, gutes Essen - alles perfekt. Beim nächsten Baiersbronn-Aufenthalt werden wir wieder den Waldknechtshof ansteuern.
"hotel de caractère, accueil plus que parfait"
L'hotel est situé dans un petit village annexe de la commune de Baiersbronn. Nous avons séjourné une nuit à 3 personnes dans un immense appartement, composé d'un séjour avec coin cuisine, de 3 chambres, le tout ultra confortable, douillet, à tel point que nous avons regretté de ne pas pouvoir prolonger notre séjour. On se sent très vite comme chez soi […] dans cet hotel accueillant, où le personnel est charmant, extrêmement prévenant et soucieux du bien être de ses clients. L'hotel, composé de 12 appartements, de salles de réunion et d'une galerie d'art est situé dans une ancienne ferme typique de la forêt noire restaurée avec goût. Beaucoup de bois, des poutres immenses, des murs en pierre dans les restaurants composent un décor à la fois rustique et raffiné. Il propose aussi 2 restaurants, l'un gastronomique (excellent, distingué par un bib gourmand) et une brasserie servant une cuisine locale, ainsi qu'une terrasse à l'arrière. Le petit déjeuner propose des mets variés et succulents, essentiellement à base de produits bio. Beaucoup de fruits frais. La seule chose qui manque est peut être une piscine ou un spa... C'est un endroit où l'on a vraiment envie de retourner. Read more
