The toilet was falling off the base and wouldn't flush, there was not enough water pressure to shower, there was a dirty wash cloth in the tub.....add all that to the just general dirtiness of this place. We asked for our money back when we left and they refused. Definitely sealed the deal for me, never staying at a super 8 again.

Good decent place for the money. It's not the Hilton but its got a nice breakfast and the place isn't run down. We liked it . Go on the swamp tours. It was awesome.

If not staying for an overnight stay on road trip across country I would not have stayed here. Hotel is very old and offerred bare necessities only. When I checked on fees for dogs on Hotel website, fee was $10.00, but when I checked in it was $15.00

The room was not very clean at all. There were footprints on the wall!! The capet was dirty, didn't look like it was vacuumed at all. The heater in the room was not working, when called management they said to leave it running and they would send someone to look at it, 3 hours later no one showed up and we had to leave the room told them not to bother. […] At 2 am someone banged on our door and scared us, tried calling management and the wire on the phone come a loose and we could not call, two females needless to say it was a frightening night. This hotel is a dump. I am from Breaux Bridge and it is disappointing that this hotel is in our charming little town. Expedia listed it as unpublished with free internet and wifi so I assumed it was the Microtel or the holiday inn but NO it was the Super 8. Of course once you pay up front there is no reimbursement. Checked in and had to switch rooms immediately. Tub looked like someone got in with muddy boots on. Toilet had "Stuff" smeared all inside. New room was better, but toilet was not mounted to floor and rocked badly. Water pressure was very low in shower. Sheets were stained and had hairs on them. Only concern was the signage on the highway and the access to the facility. Sign that was on highway was maybe one (1) foot by two (2) feet in size and about four(4) feet off the ground. The access to the hotel was through a Burger King restaurant parking lot. I passed the entrance twice as did my wife in a second vehicle. All I had to do was literally sleep there for a couple of hours during a road trip. I knew I would be arriving early so I called the location a week in advance inquiring about an early check in. They advised me that I could but that it would be $10 extra. I was fine with that and he took my name and number. Upon arrival, I was told no rooms were available, […] and that I couldn't check in until check in time. I was disappointed but then asked if I could leave my number--just in case it was available early b/c I knew I was on a specific timeline. I leave the hotel and receive a call less than 10 mins later indicating that a room actually was available. I get checked into the room and the air was out! I return to the front desk and was moved to another room --but it didn't have a fridge. I explained that I was fine with that --because I just needed to sleep! I get checked into that room. The room was hot and took a LONG time too cool off. (The air has a thermostat--it could have been set for comfort?) The room also smelled anxiously like pine scented cleaner. I appreciated the cleanliness--but was to nausea by the time I cooled off and got in bed! The overall surrounding of the facility was unpleasant and I hope I never have the misfortune of having to stay there again. The price and location were the only positive things about the stay! I would take this hotel off your list. The room was dingy. King size bed with 2 little pillows. pool was dirty. When I asked for more towels they didn't have any and I had to wait until the next day. Knowing the price was low, I did not have great expectations for this hotel. Upon arrival I found it was next to a truck stop. I expected it to be quite noisy. Being that this hotel was cheap and on our route back to Texas it seemed like a good fit for our needs. Even was a non smoking room, smoke smell was so heavy; even I booked a week before, they gave a 2nd floor room. I stayed 3 nights just to sleep, bed covers were so older. Breakfast was good enough.
