i arrived there almost midnight, the stuff were kind and helpfull and still working as it is morning. The inspection as you enter the hostel is it is very clean and bright so you feel confident. Also i was single and the rooms for couples or groups are probably bigger. Well i travelled so many countries and cities let me say it was the cleanest and the most ergonomic room that i had stayed. i must also say that it is very close the central train station (hamburg hauptbahnhof-Hbf) so you can just get the train or underground and visit whereever you want in Hamburg. i recommend everyone to stay there. This is a Hostel rather than a hotel. We reserved a family room, which should have had a double bed and bunks. We ended up in a room with all bunks. There are no TVs or phones in the rooms but you aren’t there to watch TV anyway. Internet is available at no charge in the lobby or for 5 Euro in rooms. The hotel staff is friendly and courteous. There […] are only 10 parking spaces at the hotel for guests and staff. If you drive anything larger than a 3-series BMW, it will be a tight fit. There is ample city parking within a few minutes’ walk. If you arrive after 1600, you can park in front of the hotel free until 1000 the following morning. The neighborhood looks a little rough but it is a short walk to the train station and shopping district. Food at the hotel is limited to a continental breakfast, bar and a couple small restaurants sharing the building. There is plenty to eat for the entire family at the train station or shopping district. As with most German cities, you can get anywhere you would want to go by train or bus. Read more

great price, clean HUGE room for four at a good price. However, it is a hostel, not a hotel. There is a foosball table, a smoking area in front of the door, and there were college kids drinking cheap beer in the lobby bar at 2am. Naturally I joined them for one :) Good place.

Amazing hotel. My room was right off the lobby which had some noise and recreation going on, I could not hear it when I closed the door. I was very satisfied. The room looked like it was almost brand new. Everything was immaculate.

Better than expected. This was a franchise hostel that seems quite well run and popular. It caters to younger single people, but had no problems accommodating a family that included two toddlers. We stayed in room to ourselves that included three sets of bunks. You will be given your sheets at the front desk and are expected to bring them back when […] you check out. Everything was clean. They also lent us a baby crip for our youngest. Room had a lot of space for the kids to run around in which was helpful after a long drive. Our room had it's own toilet and shower, each in a separate room. Wifi was extra so didn't use. Subway is about a half mile walk or you can take a bus to the station. Parking is available in front of the building I discovered after I parked in parking garage that required crossing a major street. Suggest you reserve parking at the hotel if possible for max convenience. My greatest complaint is there were fliers posted everywhere about the meals they can provide at the bar to include pizza 24hrs a day. When went to order, the person tending the "bar" said they didn't have any pizza. We opened the menu and asked what they actually had from the menu. Nothing apparently, just "snacks" that he pointed to behind him. This consisted of candy bars etc. I suspect lack of use caused them to stop with the meals, but if so, they should really pull down the fliers and remove the menus. Read more

This hotel is perfect if you're looking for somewhere to sleep, shower and have breakfast but not much else. There is however the added bonus of a bar in the basement which meant you could go out for a meal in the evening before returning for a nightcap - the beer isn't fantastic but the cocktails are strangely addictive!! The bedroom was nice and clean, […] but not huge. The bathroom also is not huge, especially the shower, but it is functional. At the end of the day, the hotel is only 600m from the main railway station and central shopping area so for the money it's relatively central, and you're not wasting money for things you don't need. The A & O matched our needs perfectly. The six of us were on a limited budget so were expecting no more than the bare minimum but in some respects the A & O was a really pleasant surprise. The staff were all friendly and helpful and spoke perfect English; the room was basic but clean and quiet (with excellent shower/WC), and was ready at 10.30 a.m. […] on the morning we arrived; the all-you-can eat breakfast for 6 euros was better than several "proper" hotels that we'd stayed in. Although we had to vacate our room by (a very reasonable) 11 a.m., we were able to leave our bags in a secure room (with valuables in a safe behind reception) until the early evening. Vi bodde 6 grabbar i ett rum med 6 våningssängar och betalade 210:-/natt och person. Dusch & WC på rummet. Perfekt om man som vi vill lägga pengarna på annat än boendet. Enkel men fräsch standard. Bra frukostbuffé, vänlig och närvarande personal, Astra-bar i källaren. Kan helt klart rekommenderas!

Rigtigt fornuftigt værelse med seperat bad og toilet. Personalet var super venlige og hjalp med en udskrift fra nettet uden betaling. Morgenmaden var udemærket, der var et stort udvalg og det koster kun 6Euro. Det tager 10 min at gå til Hauptbahnhof. Eneste negative var, at vores bruser var helt kalket til, så den sprøjtede ud til siderne.

Alt ialt en god oplevelse. Værelset var større end forventet til prisen, og det var 100% rent både på selve værelset og i baderum og toilet. Der var lidt lydt, hvilket skyldes hødt til loftet samt beliggenheden lige ud til et baneterræn. Service i receptionen var tip top.
