I was amazed that this was called a 3 star. The best thing about the hotel was that they had a shuttle with a really nice manager driving. That's where it ends. Springhill Suites Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. All rooms are suites but they can be a bit tight. We had a room with 2 queen beds and a sitting area with a couch that made into a bed. This could easily accommodate 2 adults and 2 children but can be a bit tight with 4 adults. Never-the-less the rooms are clean, nicely decorated and updated. […] Breakfast is the standard fare but comes with the price of the room. Traveled to Medford to see my son play hockey and didn't realize when I booked that the hotel was right next to the rink!!! Perfect!!! The hotel is comfortable and clean and staff is very friendly, right down to their Charlie Brown Christmas shirts they were for the season! Would definitely recommend!!

We were driving to return to home an we staid overnight, It was really comfortable, clean. Nice and quick check in and out. Breakfast was excellent although there were too many people taking breakfast and we had to wait a few minutes because the breakfast area is not too big.

This hotel was great!! They really thought of everything! The layout was wonderful because of the little living room separated from the "bedroom" by a half wall! The TV is placed strategically between both rooms on a swivel so that parents can watch TV in the living area, while the kids can sleep without being distracted by a view of the TV! Brilliant! […] There was a microwave in the room, as well as coffee machine and mini fridge! There was a work space AND a pull out bed in the couch! They even provided make-up remover in little "wet wipe" packages. :) There is a new Wal-Mart walking distance from the hotel, but it's not like you really need to go there for snacks as the lobby's "mini mart" was stocked with all kinds of frozen foods like pizza, hot pockets, and mac and cheese! We were really blown away by everything that was included. Oh! And it has a laundry room too. But the quality didn't end there. It was very clean, and the beds had 4-6 super cozy pillows each. I even slept through all the bumping my husband heard, because I was so comfortable. The employees were very friendly and greeted us everytime we walked through the lobby. Springhill from now on!! I called a few days before travel to confirm my paid reservation, the staff assured and confirmed the reservation was paid and the dates were confirmed. When I arrived the staff who checked me in asked if I had an preferances to location in the hotel. I asked for a room close to the entrance so I could avoid schlepping my bags. I asked for no-smoking and was assured it was a no-smoking hotel, and indeed my room did not have any unpleasant odors. The room was spacious, and included a refrigerator & microwave oven. The bed was very clean & comfortable. The complimentary breakfast selections were fresh with a lot of variety. The 24 hour availabilty of coffee and tea was also nice. The USA Today newspaper was also complimentary. I will use hotel as my go-to hotel the next time I visit the Medford area. It is also very close to the activities in Ashland. Read more

The hotel is located walking distance of a number of fast food joints and a grill, so food wasn't a problem with out stay. The breakfast options were amazing, although they should have kept the coffee within the breakfast area instead of closer to the lobby. Rooms were clean and well-maintained. Very clean, super quiet, very comfy beds, liked the extra space in the suite for a family. Breakfast great . . . something for even my picky eaters! Newer hotel, suite room is comfortable and provides a divided living area, many services nearby. Quick access to highway. Only issue I saw at this hotel was a puddling issue in the pool area near floor drains that should be worked under a warranty claim to the builder, as the standing water is not desirable and could lead to some long term maintenace […] and health concerns. We are a family of six. It was a good size room with two queen beds and a pull out sofa bed. It worked great since no one had to sleep on the floor and breakfast was included every morning. I will certainly stay there again.

Loved the suites layout. The room we got assigned came with a microwave and a sink where we could easily prep light stuff for our kids (6 & 3). A big plus are the seating area inside the suite and the indoors pool and the complimentary hot breakfast (eggs and sausage). Other continental options are also available.

The front desk staff was so friendly and professional. Our rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. Our stay was over the Christmas holiday, so we did not take advantage of the pool or other amenities. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone.
