Hotel was excellent, room was quiet and grear view.The only issue was it was upgrading halls with new floors and paint., but this did not bother our stay. In fact we extented our stay.c

"not maintained properly"
carpet was dirty, not at all comfortfull, bad service,....it sucks.

hotel carpet was dirty and old. Room was very compact and hardly any space to move arround. Wash basin was very inconvenient and right in the main sleeping area.
"Rock bottom alternative in a tourist town"
As previously stated the is a rock bottom place. You get what you pay for and this is an inexpensive alternative. We stayed 3 days in early July. toliet lid broken, front of window AC broken, power went off once and bedspread, curtains and carpet are all different patterns! "Biggest Dump Ever!"
There were spider webs and spiders all over the room, stains and other stuff all over the walls, food was left in the drawer from whomever stayed before us. The sink was backed up, took a shower and afterwards my feet were pitch black from walking on the carpet! I invited the manager to come and take a look at the room and he refused to and also refused […] to refund our money so we could stay somewhere else. "Clean for the money"
It was interesting that no one worked at the office... we had to go to the hotel next door to check in and to get ice, etc. but, it wasn't that far at all. The room was really clean, and the bathroom was clean and up-dated, which is important to me when I take a shower. The only improvement I'd have liked to see would have been fewer spiders (we killed […] 4 small ones during our stay). The location is really good - near good places to eat and a close drive to downtown Traverse City. Also pretty close drive to Old Mission Peninsula. Read more
"Clean Basic Room"
The price was excessive for the room, but it was Cherry Festival, so I was lucky to find something available at such late notice. Lots of hot water, the bed was fine, large refridgerator and we could use the pool and hot tub across the parking lot.
