Noise noise noise, awful neighborhood, very near to all subway linesGenuine Expedia guest review
"The beds were too small."
The size of the hotel is really small.I was shocked with how small it is. In addition to the hotel, the room was small. There was 3 of us that checked in. The room had 2 double beds, but they were not big. My mom and I had to squeeze into one bed. The bathroom was really small also. There was no extra bar to put the towels.. The continental breakfast […] did not offer much. There were donuts, bagels, cereal, waffles, tea, and coffee. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"A microcsim of Brooklyn"
Loud, diry and rude just like Brooklyn. Room was small and uncomftable. Front desk was rude and unhelpful as if you are a burden. Better deals and people near by. Loud subways and street brawls all nite. Cleaning people were friendly but do not speak much english. If u watch any tv no channels to watch. It was the only place during hurricane Sandy that […] had rooms. No more need be said. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

This spot would have been perfect if not for 2 things. First, check-in time was way too late. I mean seriously, who sets check in time to 3pmGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ok hotel if you are on a budget"
The front desk person wasn't friendly on the phone, it took very long t get myroom key. The employees always seemed distracted and were not professional. The room is clean but the location was bad because it was near a train station. The breakfast was ok, not a big selection and the apple juice and orange juice was very watered down. The computer in […] the lobby didn't work as well. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"NOISE, NOISE, NOISE"
If you want CHEAP... Then this hotel is for you. However, the noise level is horrible with an elevated train RIGHT NEXT TO THE HOTEL. Also, DO NOT take rooms on the first level due to RUDE noise from the Lobby ALL NIGHT. Also, rough neighborhood.Genuine Expedia guest review
Good location as the L train was around the corner. But horrible sound proofing of rooms, you could hear the train pass by all the time, and neighbors opening and closing their doors.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Way too noisy"
The hotel is located next to a New York Transit elevated train station and a highway; my room was on the side closest to them. Throughout the night and morning the loud rumble from them greatly disturbed my sleep. I put earplugs in, which helped a bit, but not enough to permit a decent sleep. Perhaps a room on the other side of the building would be […] tolerable, but on the side where my room was, that is not the case. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Very noisy; bad neighborhood"
The location of the hotel is sketchy. Very noisy rooms (trains are passing next to the hotel's rooms). I can't believe that they have built a hotel next to the subway.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"The trains! The trains!"
This tiny little hotel was tucked discretely into a corner of a busy Brooklyn street. At first I didn't even think I had the right place. Once inside, the hotel was well-kept and the actual room was small but comfortable. This would have all been perfectly fine except that the hotel is adjacent to elevated subway tracks. The first time a train thundered […] by it drowned out the television and I swear the room shook a little. This went on every few minutes until I finally fell asleep. I was then awakened by the same racket somewhere around 5 am and was never able to drift back off. I value my sleep and therefore would not return. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel for adults"
For the price you pay, this hotel is absolutely amazing. It's new and very clean. The hotel is two short blocks from Broadway Junction so you can reach many locations in Brooklyn and Manhattan without any transfers. The location looks pretty rough, but as we left the subway late every night to walk to the hotel we always saw at least three cop cars […] on watch, including one in the hotel parking lot. This is not technically a 5 star hotel, but between the price, location and cleanliness, I can't imagine a better deal in NY. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to destination"
I enjoyed the stay very convienent the room was clean my only problem was the walls are paper thin and u hear things u don't want to lol other then that the trains but it's really not that badGenuine Hotels.com guest review
There were cigarette burns in the sheets, the hair dryer did not work, and the lamp between the beds did not work. The Lobby was not appealing at all, it pretty much set the tone for the room we rented and overpaid for.Genuine Expedia guest review
Parking was a major challenge, only a few parking spaces on the property. Parking after hours is at your own risk. Breakfast area is too small and congested, only seats 5 persons comfortably. Guest service was reasonably well.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I would not recommend this place to any one. First of all, there are only 13 parking spots for the entire hotel... And we weren't lucky enough to score one. Parking in that area was dreadful. It was loud out. The train tracks are right outside the window. The breakfast was bad. The worst part of the experience was at 3am when a complete stranger opened […] our door to our room!! The night crew didn't know the room was already taken and gave someone else the key! Then they call our room to ask how we got there! It was terrible. We had to explain that the day crew checked us in. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Too close to the trains, the noise is very bad. Neighbourhood is not very safe, needed police escort from the subway to the hotel to feel safe. Hotel itself is OK, location is terrible.Genuine Expedia guest review
Front desk has glass enclosure with a little speaker box to talk and below that a tray to exchange money. (Like buying ticket at subway or movie theater) Waited almost 1 hour to get room while standing in line with 7 other guests waiting for same thing. One man operation and he doesn't care. L.I. Railroad and local L train converge out front above hotel. […] Breakfast? don't know: closed at 9 am; door locked. Room clean but bedspread stained. Police park outside on street. Lots of eye opening activity going on here for someone from suburbia. I suspect rooms rented out for nefarious activity by locals, i.e. hourly use Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"This Hotel Was Great"
I don't see why people are complaining. This hotel was nice and quiet minus the trains but it's NYC. Unless your A light sleeper it won't wake you up decent prices considering the time frame I was in. Otherwise no complaintsGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Mostly adequate. Very rough are. Think twice."
The hotel is in a rough neighborhood in east new york. If you don't belong there, you will stick out a lot. Wouldn't recommend arriving by subway, even during the day. The price I paid wasn't really low enough to justify the dangerous location. The place itself is ok, well-kept, and run by a courteous staff consisting of south asians (India I think) […] from behind a bullet-proof glass window where you slide the credit card through a slot. The hallways and room smell faintly of cigarettes and curry powder. The reception is meant to be 24 hours but sometimes is left unstaffed for a few minutes, with the front door wide open. Street walkers come in with their johns from off the street sometimes, but I saw them turned away despite plenty of rooms being available, which I think is good. The main actual clients seemed to be either people like myself who didn't know what they were getting into (including some Europeans) and some former residents of the neighborhood (East NY) who had made some money and got out, and were coming back for a visit. The reception is willing to call a "cab" for you, which in my case was a Dominican guy in an SUV with no meter. The room was perfectly adequate, comfortable, and clean. I commend the staff for making the most of difficult circumstance, but think hard on whether this is really the hotel for you. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Quality Inn Queens"
The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is close to the subway, but we could hear the subways cars all night since it is above ground. The hotel advertised a hot breakfast, but it only had cereal, toast, donuts and bagels.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Quality Inn Brooklyn"
If all you need is a place to sleep at an affordable price, then this place is fine. Don't expect a "nice view" from any of the windows and if you are a light sleeper, you may want ear plugs since the city's lullaby is the train overhead. It served its purpose for what I needed, but, some folks may be more particular.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"NEVER STAY HERE"
The aroma of marijuana in the front lobby was overwhelming. as well as the dealers and prostitues to get into physical atlercations right in the lobby in front of other guest. They leave to to stand at the counter for at least 15 minutes before they acknowlege that you exist. DONT STAY THERE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
For starter this hotel is in the worst location. I took a taxi there and was expecting to run out for snack. After hours I advise you stay in your room because this location isn't the safest. Every time I close my eyes for some […] rest the train woke me up over and over again. Would not pay to stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Quality Inn Brooklyn, good in a pinch"
Accommodating staff, I got there the next day, way past check in time and was very tired and they let me into a room and allowed me to purchase another night at the same rate. Standard continental breakfast, not that great but had an okay bagel and coffee. I had a smoking room, and they are usually not as clean as others but for some reason the floor […] in this hotel was soaking wet by the door. I should have asked for a new room but I was very drained and just ended up crashing. It is very hard to describe where the hotel is because it is located next to and beneath a bridge entrance to a larger road. I think I only found it because I had a smartphone. "Don't expect much for this price..."
Hotel is ok. Is clean and staff is nice. However if your porpouse is to visit NYC, keep looking... about an hour away in train from Manhattan area... is not the best area in Brooklyn, dark, but we always found police in the street. Worst part is the train passing almost over the hotel every 15 mins, if you need total quite to sleep this is not for you, […] train passes every 15 mins and is not pretty. Good place to stayGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was small but to be expected. There were signs of past bedbugs but no current problem seen. One block from the L train but also 100ft from the tracks. Not a place to walk at night, nothing to really walk to. Hourly rates offered, nuff said. Will do in a pinch I guess and get you to the train.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel for great sleepers"
This is an awesome hotel for the price. Clean, very comfortable, good service. Only downside is the railroad juncion just outside, bring earplugs if you don't sleep really well. It's really like being on an overnight train. We thought that was super cozy, but I can see how some don't.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The location of this hotel is horrible. Although it is very close to a subway, you have to go underground to get to the subway and/or cross the street. There are NO cabs in this area of Brooklyn and if you are lucky enough to catch one, you have to really coax/ trick them into taking you somewhere, since they don't want to waste their time in Brooklyn […] and they want to head to Manhattan. The staff, although they tried to help, were not very competent. When I came down one morning to go to a job interview around 6:30 a.m. I saw no one was at the front desk to help me call a cab. Then I looked in the window closer and saw that the front desk clerk was asleep in his chair! Even after knocking on the glass, he did not wake up. This place would be good for you if you don't mind staying in a shady area and plan to drive everywhere (since parking is free) This place is not for you, if you want to see nice parts of Brooklyn or get around easily, want to eat breakfast in the morning, want help from the front desk at the hotel. Overall, I do not recommed the Quality Inn on Atlantic Ave. You can find deals just as cheap in the city, for example in Chelsea, or just splurge and stay somewhere nicer. "Decent Hotel if you are ok with the neighborhood"
This was a surprisingly clean and well-maintained hotel for the price. The amenities are what's-to-be-expected for the star rating and it's close to many subway stations. However...the neighborhood needs to be considered by anyone who is booking. For one, the subway passes about 20 feet from the hotel and is VERY noisy. If you can't sleep through the […] train, this is not the place for you. Secondly, the neighborhood was ridiculously loud on Friday night. There were cars parked in vacant lots with stereos blasting and clubs with open doors. The music was louder than the train, and that's saying something. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
