      Very helpful staff with good knowledge of the area. Very kind to my little dog, who was permitted to go to dinner and breakfast with us. Beautiful view of the stunning lake. Very clean; easy parking; out of the bustle of tourist area, but close enough to still be convenient. Only planned to stay a night, but have decided to make a stop on our return home as well because hotel is sublime!

      Although I had a lake side room, it is not lake view because I was on the lower floor. There is a park between the hotel and Lake Bled. The room is a little small but adequate. It has a balcony and a view of the Bled Castle. It is just around the corner from the bus stop (2nd Bled stop) so it is very convenient if you get here by bus. The hotel also have a parking lot. There are some fast food, cafes and couple of restaurants very near to the hotel too. Overall not a bad place to stay.

      We stayed a total of four nights while hiking in the Julian Alps. The hotel was very accommodating, at one point allowing us to extend an extra night when the weather was bad. The staff (whose English overall was quite good) also helped us change a reservation at one of the mountain huts. The breakfast buffet is generous, and the free wi-fi was easy to use and had a good connection. We would stay at the Kompas again if in KG.

    Wir haben zwei Zimmer in einem 4-Sterne-Hotel gebucht, wurden aber leider in einer Ferienwohnung untergebracht, welche definitiv kein 4-Sterne-Niveau aufwies. Es war uns auch kaum möglich, den Wellnessbereich zu nutzen, da die Ferienwohnungen sich nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe des Hotels befunden haben.

    Beim Abendessen wurden wir von Auszubildenden bediend. Leider fehlte diesen AZUBI's die übersicht im Service. Es fehlte auch eine Hilfe, die ihnen mit Rat zur Seite stehen. (So wurde uns der Wein, nach dreimaliger Reklamation nach dem Essen serviert.)

    Ho alloggiato in uno degli appartamenti vicini alla struttura principale. Gli ambienti sono puliti e molto confortevoli. Mancava solo la rete wi-fi per potersi collegare a internet che invece c'è in hotel ed è molto efficente.
