Rooms were exquisite, a couple blocks from Michigan Ave, Navy pier and many museums. Service was excellent at the hotel, you drive up and are greeted by name with smiling faces. I never touched a bag, nor opened my own door while staying at the hotel. The view from the room was nice, overlooking the city. You can control the entire room from the bed, with lighting, blinds, and of course the tv. Beds were heavenly and I grew fond of watching TV in the bathroom in the morning. This is a very classy and unique hotel, I will definitely be staying there again.

Upon 3 pm check in, our room was not ready because of the July 3rd firework celebration the night before. The staff was extremely apologetic with 2 free drink coupons to use at the gorgeous lounge with beautiful view on the top floor. Afte 1 hour, the room was ready with an upgrade to a huge suite with a full kitchen, living rooom area, 2nd bathroom, and a television in the master suite bathroom mirror. We loved sampling therapeutic pillows from the pillow menu delivered to our room. The view of the fireworks all along the different suburbs was unbelievable! We never wanted to fall asleep or leave the room. With Hotels.com, we were able to save hundreds of dollars and experienced the most luxurious hotel in downtown Chicago.

The employees of this hotel made you feel special. Our room had a view of the Chicago River and was oversized in many ways. The appointments of the suite were fabulous but some things were overlooked. We received a note at the nightly turn-down saying there were warm neck rolls in the appliance that heated towels, etc. But to our surprise, this was empty. We also needed a little more instructions on the operation of the room.....espresso machine, etc. All in all, this was quite an experience and one I hope to enjoy again and again.

This was an excellent hotel with the highest standards, yet very baby-friendly. The service was perfect. They had a crib, bottle warmer, high chair and a lot of other baby necessities ready for us upon arrival. Free wireless internet was a very nice perk to have. Great location, beautiful modern building, all equipment was just the finest. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Unlike many other expensive hotels, this hotel did not charge for every little service but had several complimentary services included in the hotel price, e.g. shoe shine service.

The Trump has simply the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. This is a terrific hotel in all respects. The room is spacious, the view is spectacular, the location terribly convenient, the bathroom is luxurious and both well designed and well appointed, internet service is flawless and uncomplicated, room service food is excellent -- if pricy, and the furnishings are tasteful and understated. Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent and extended to 11am. The only minor blemishes are that the room service staff are overly attentive and a bit difficult to get to leave the room; and the television menu is set up so as to make changing channel excessively slow and cumbersome. I was in Chicago on business and would stay here again either for business or pleasure.

Where do I begin? From our warm welcome by the valet and bellstaff -- to the front desk telling us that we had been upgraded to a lake view -- to the in-room dining server bringing in four chairs for our dinner -- to seeing Navy Pier fireworks from our window --- to the room itself -- every detail was flawless and every hotel staffperson kind, accommodating and friendly, which you don't expect in 5-star establishments. Our room was large, exceedingly comfortable, contemporary and decorated in restful, muted colors. We grew up in Chicago and this was the best view ever -- right over the river, the Wrigley Building clock so close you could touch it, looking out toward the lake with its changing clouds and colors, flanked by the city's magnificant buildings and bridges. The sound system is Bose. The in-room fridge is Sub-Zero. The towels are probably Turkish. There's a place to put your shoes at the foot of the bed. The room is set at the back of a long entryway so you feel private -- and it was extremely quiet. I have never seen such attentive service. Even though it was a Friday night our in-room meal for four only took about 30 minutes to arrive. We had a wonderful breakfast the next day in Sixteen, the hotel restaurant -- including a "juice of the day," in this case a delicious berry mix. We've traveled a fair amount and the only other place that would rival this hotel is the famed Broadmoor resort in Colorado. We will be back!

The hotel staff could not have been more courteous or accommodating. We arrived early and were able to store our bags with the bell staff so that we could explore the city and as promised, we received a call from the desk notifying us that the room was ready. We could only stay one night given our babysitter options and we chose to spend a little more for Trump Hotel because we knew it would be beautiful & new, clean and well appointed. It was very classy - the room was furnished beautifully, the bathroom was exquisite and I just adored the decor, the view, the relaxing bath-tub and the superbly comfortable bed. My back misses that bed! They were still working on the patio restaurant which would have made for a fun lunch environment but we ended up going out for lunch & dinner and checked out Rebar for a drink. My husband requested flowers in our room and we received a beautiful exotic arrangement which I enjoyed the following week as well. My husband said they were very helpful in the selection process. Though we enjoy trying new places we would stay at Trump again and recommend it to others. The location as well is perfect.
