Overall, very positive. Breakfast fine. There was one surprise: HOTELS.COM did not charge us for the "tourist tax" at the hotel. We had to pay that at checkout. Not much, but should have been included in the overall price HOTELS.COM quoted.

Hotel was very nice with large room. Room extremely clean and well maintained. Hotel staff very nice, good food. The only rooms which have air conditioning are the "apartment rooms". There was a courtyard in the center of the hotel and other guest kept us up partying until the wee hrs. The hotel staff finally forced them inside. We had a suite for a night when we added an extra day to our stay in Krakow. It was really nice and had a big wraparound balcony overlooking the square, which was very nice. The hotel is well located just a block from Old Krakow, the mall if you need it, and the train and bus stations just beyond the mall. A real find.

Good location with underground metro on corner, and near a 24 hour shop (easily reached by going underground to reach the block diagonal to the hotel) to buy fruit, etc.. We had the basic room which wasn't much different than the upgraded room our friends had. Noisy at night with the window open, but closing window resolved the noise problem. The hotel was very poor at cleanliness; stayed 8 nights and the room was not vacuumed for days; had to complain, also traveling friends in another room on another floor had the same issues. even though we were there for 8 nights , they did not clean the glasses everyday, had to take them down to the kitchen and get clean glasses daily, also each day […] showing the front desk, one response was that the maid figures we would use the glasses again so why clean them, the bedding was filty : the bed spreads when you looked on the underside were urine stained..the beds were awful; way to soft; had to sleep on the floor for 8 nights. Plus we paid for the deluxe suite an additional fee for 8 nights, nothing delux about it at all.. the room was to come with complimentry bottle of water. only the first night; i asked why ony the first night as i am paying a premium for the room for 8 nights; they did not want to provide water for the other nights, even though bottle water is cheap; they did not want to provide any extra service. This was my 6 th visit to Krakow and i have stayed at other hotels for the same lenght of time and on one trip booked 4 rooms to handle multiple friends traveling together. Would never stay here again or refer to others. ! Also the bath linens have seen there day, very worn. Read more

Just a five-minute walk, if that, from the main Krakow train station and perhaps an interesting 12-minute walk to the city's main square. Very clean, roomy, friendly staff, superb breakfast. The only minus is that this small hotel does not have a computerized reservation system. At check in, the desk clerk asked for a credit card for incidentals and […] secuity (no problem in principle) but then wrote -- by hand -- the card number and expiration date on a paper hotel form. When I expressed concern about where that piece of paper might end up and who might be able to copy it, the clerk said the hotel needs to have the credit card information for security. I explained we similarily had a keen interest in protecting our credit card's security. The manager became involved. Same unresloved discussion. As a hotel, we'd certtainly recommend it. But if you're concerned about credit card security, you should probably go elsewhere, which is a shame. It's been nearly two weeks and no problems with our credit card. Read more

We arrived by overnight train for a four night stay so were at the hotel before 8:00 am. The young man on the desk said he could not find our booking, told us to leave our cases, go and explore, and a room would be ready, probably by 11:00 am. Returned around 10:30 am to a room we were able to go straight into. The staircase leading to the floors is […] lovely, sweeping and very elegant. The hallways are curved and have archways, very nice. Our room was large, comfortable, overlooked the church opposite. The lift is slow but soundless. We were 5 minutes from a large mall and 5 minutes from the start of the old town. Breakfast was included and was and was good - scrambled eggs and sausage, toast and spreads and the usual European cold meats, cheeses, breads etc. The staff, apart from the young man mentioned above, were not friendly but did respond to requests. This may be partially due to the language problem. Wifi did not work in the room but we were able to sit in the restaurant and use it for as long as we wanted. Read more

Great for the price. Hotel staff is really friendly and it's just 2 minutes to the mall and 2 minutes to the main square. Breakfast was also very good. They had Pastry, fruit, bread with jams, coffee, juice, rolls, vegetables, cheese, and meats. Bed was pretty comfortable and the bathroom was clean. I would stay there again.

hotel is located around the corner from the huge krakow mall adjacent to the train station. the bus to the salt mine is a one-minute walk from the hotel, as are trams going virtually anywhere.

The cleaning woman through away OUR FRENCH FRIES which was quite ridiculous considering there were tissues sitting on the counter that she couldn't've picked up and thrown away instead. Overall, we were quite satisfied with our stay, the hotel itself is ideally situated close to old town, bus stop, station, shopping centre, etc. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms' furnishings are dated but very clean. We had just two negative remarks to make, (1) we asked on two separate days to have our room tv to be tuned for an English […] speaking news channel, i.e. BBC News - which was available in our friends' room - this was not done and no reason was conveyed to us as to why not. (2) the dining room at breakfast appears to be understaffed, there was rarely any staff present to enquire about anything and we had to knock on the kitchen door a few mornings to ask that the fruit bowl, hot water dispenser and milk jug to be topped up. There were 10 of us in the group and we all couldn't speak highly enough about the proximity of the hotel to the main town, railway and shopping centre. For the money we paid it was such good value we'd all go back without hessitation. Breakfast was very average, but you could get a cup of tea, juice, cereal and usual ham and cheese sandwiches.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!! The location could not be more perfect - a short and pleasant walk in a straight line down the road to the main gate to the old city. There is a tram stop nearby where you can take the number 20 to Schindlers Factory. (Don't be put off when you alight in an industrial estate, you are in the right place!) There is a bus […] stop round the corner where you can take the bus to the Salt Mine approximately 30 minutes away. We took the organised trip to Auschwitz which was extremely moving and harrowing at times. Having a guided tour was informative but meant there was little time to ponder and reflect so it is a personal choice. This hotel is a 3 star so don't expect luxury and you won't be disappointed. The rooms were spacious with a large en-suite and a fantastic powerful shower. Ok, it leaked a little and the furnishings are a little dated but it is spotless and the beds incredibly comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful with something for everyone. Staff friendly once you engage with them - very helpful with tours. They organised our transfers to the airport and a packed lunch on our last day as we had to leave early. Krakow is stunning providing history and gorgeous architecture side by side with contemporary night life and entertainment. I can't recommend it and this hotel highly enough and am already planning a return visit. Read more

Great location, only a few minutes walk from main rail station, shopping galleria, and old town. Excellent buffet breakfast. Bedrooms do not have airconditioning, and temperatures during my stay up to 37C. Fan did help, but aircon would have done the job better.

It would have been good if we had a kettle or fridge in the room. The shower did leak a bit as well. However, the location of the hotel is great, close to the station and the main city centre. They also provide a space to store luggage.
