The hotel and staff are wonderful and we will definitely stay there on our next visit to Barcelona! The room was very clean and neat and the daily maid service was exceptional. The front desk staff was very professional and courteous. Wi-Fi in the room was excellent. Walking out of the hotel and looking up at the Cathederal every morning was surreal. Beautiful hotel and wonderful location!

The hotel was clean and neat, the staff very helpful, and the bathroom was great. We also found the price fair and reasonable. The view out of the back of the hotel was not the best- apartment back porches and dirty laundry, so keep the curtains closed.

Stayed for a five night family vacation. Our room for three was very nice with a king bed and sofa bed. Efficiency kitchen with dishes and silverware and cookware. Compact refrigerator. Very well located in Eixample neighborhood one block from metro station. Easy walk to many restaurants and the Passieg Gracia or upper part of the Rambla Cataluna. However the BEST was the service of the front desk. Whatever the request they were ceaseless in their efforts to please and accommodate. Information, directions, recommendations for eating and transportation, ticketing. The staff could not do enough for us. This is service that is rare to find in the amenities industry: a true personal touch. My family can heartily recommend the Acacia Suites for a Barcelona vacation. The only negative for some is that it is not located directly on Plaza Cataluna or the Rambla but if you want a quieter neighborhood, with a local feel it is a very nice place.

The hotel was very basic. Was clean and the location was okay (NW of Las Ramblas in the university section). The 2-star rating is right on. The staff were helpful -- although the morning staff were not overly personable. However, the evening person was extremely customer service oriented. Things to consider: (1) the beds are terrible, (2) my traveling […] companions could never get their a/c to work, even after reporting it to he management, and (3) the rooms are on the small side. Terrific location but the rooms are very minimal (there is no art on the walls) and there is no carpeting on the floors so you can hear everything, though it was a relatively quiet place so not that big of a deal. There is no refrigerator but there is a supermarket around the corner as well as a machine in the lobby where you can buy coffee or water. "For the sighsee-er"
This hotel is great if you need a place to crash at night and a private bathroom. It is a no frills hotel with the basic ammentities. It worked well for myself and my traveling companion but we only slept there, never hung out. The internet wasn't working in the lobby the 3 days we were there. But there were other internet cafes around. The location […] is walkable to Las Ramblas and all the sightseeing but in a much quieter area. I read a review about the thin walls and loud hallway floors and agree, but most budget places I have stayed at in Europe are like that. "Romantic weekend away"
This hotel is very nice & with great staff & a superb location, walking distance of everywhere as well as bus and metro shops & cafe's very close by. My 'only' complaint was the bed, it was so hard & uncomfortable, although I have a bad back my husband doesnt & he didnt enjoy his sleep either. Honestly, no other complaint at all.

Me and my wife stayed 5 nights in Del Comte. Location was excellent, 15 minutes to La Rambla, good restaurants and cafes only few minutes from hotel. Metro was only one block from the hotel. Room was very small. Smaller than I have ever met before . Bed was hard but we still slept well. Room was cleaned every day so everything was clean. Staff was not […] very professional so you have to be ready to find many things out by your own. Lack of computer is negative. Many others have noted the quality of this hotel compared to it's star rating. This is because it is a 3-star hotel, and you basically get 3-star service. Clean, neat, new but very warm. Fine if you like warm weather like me, but avoid if you can't sleep when it's 20C+ all night in your room. Air-con does not exist, as also noted by others.

The room was basic (small, no fridge,...) but extremely clean. The bed was very confortable, the shower very good and the noise level in the hotel minimum. The staff was very helpful and the hotel offered a wide range of services (tours, catamaran rental, etc...) although we did not take advantage of that. The Wi-Fi internet access was free and decent […] enough with printing from the reception. Restaurants are 2 min away by walking, Supermarket 1 min away and metro station 4 min away. The hotel was ok however, the cleaners didn't change the towels, they just hung the dirty ones back up and thought we wouldn't know!! They said we need to inform them before 11am if we had any laundry and we did however they came to our room at 4pm and told us that it was too late therefore they couldn't do it even though we called them before 11am!! "Easy location to subway and supermarket"
Just walk one corner, you will see the hotel to the nearest subway station Urgell. The hotel is located at pretty much the centre of Barcelona with easy subway access to all major attractions. The best part is there is a supermarket downstairs so we can buy a lot daily necessities such as bottle water and toothpaste. It's cold cuts are super cheap with […] good quality. The hotel itself is as it rated: two stars. Very small room, quite stuffy at night. But you got what you paid for. If you don't mind the comfort of your hotel or it's just for a night stay, you can definitely choose this one for its great location and convenience. The hotel is conveniently located about 5 minutes walk from the Metro station. Plaza Espanya is about a 20 minute walk from here and is quite lively. Great location--one block from airport bus stop and metro red line and within walking distance to Las Ramblas in one direction or Poble Espanyol in the other. When searching for a hotel this was one of the better value ones we found in Barcelona. The hotel exceeded my expectation. It was very clean, the room was spacious and the staff were very helpful. The floor in the corridors are noisy as other guests have stated but it didn't wake me up so I can't complain. The hotel is in a good location. It is 5-10 […] minute walk from the Ramblas and 1 minute from the excellent metro system. Also the airport bus stops very near to the hotel so no need for a taxi. There are lots of cafes if you want a cheap breakfast or lunch. I didn't try the breakfast in the hotel as it was better value outside. Also it is next door to a supermarket which is very handy. "Midt på tre"
Helt greit hotell. Men vaskepersonalet gjorde ikke rent før 17.00 - 18.00, og ikke gjorde de rent hvis du oppholdt deg på rommet. Derfor ble det litt klønete hvis man ville slappe av på rommet og samtidig ha rent rom og håndkler til man skulle ut på kvelden.

In questo hotel ci siamo trovati benissimo! Il personale è stato molto molto gentile e parlava anche la nostra lingua. Le camere non sono molto grandi, ma comunque confortevoli, pulite e complete di tutto. La struttura è in ottimo stato a pochi passi dalla metro. Un hotel che consiglio!

Matig hotel, kamers erg klein, bed keihard (dusdanig dat je er rugpijn aan over houdt), ongeveer 20 min. lopen van centrum. Buurt niet bijzonder, wel leuke restaurants de buurt en supermarkt en metro vlakbij . Positief: gratis wifi, kamers netjes, met kluis en tv, redelijk goede service, tenslotte: zeer matige prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding, extreme geluidsoverlast […] van buren om 6.45 's ochtends, geluidsisolatie schiet dus zwaar tekort. "Fint hotel til prisen."
Ligger i roligt område, meget tæt på metro station Urgell. Man har bl.a mulighed for at spise lokalt og ikke i de sædvanlige turistfælder. I området var mange homoer (især mænd), hvis man har homofobi, så find et andet område. Jeg syntes personligt det er et meget underholdende syn.

"Mirror, Mirror on the Wall !"
Overall, it was a fair decision. The room was clean, the furniture was new. If you're a fan of walking, it might be a little far away from the city centre and the catalunya place. Internet speed was good overall, without much problems. Only a few things I would note as "cons": -There was no full-size mirron in the room. The only mirror was the mirror […] in the bathroom, which was not enough for dressing-up. -Maybe it was my luck, but there was NO view from the vindow at all ! I was facing to -almost- a wall. It was no problem since I did not spend too much time in the hotel, but if you would like to see a good view, the placement of the hotel might be "not enough" for that. -The breakfast was quite expensive for what it offers. It only had a small number of fruits, bread, honey, milk (and one type of cerial), and a few other more. You can get better brekfast for 11 euros. Do not get this as "the hotel was bad", overall, it was a good hotel and a clean service. Read more

Very good and central location, 10 min walk to Placa Catalunya and Las Ramblas. 1 min to the nearest underground. Nice big rooms with big bathroom. And free internet is a +. I woul go there again.

Hôtel très propre, facile d'accès. Le parking n'est pas celui de l'hôtel mais le parking public attenant pour une trentaine d'euros la nuit. L'isolation acoustique n'est pas très bonne, de la chambre 223 on entend la sdb d'à côté comme si on y était, normal...elle est tout contre la tête du lit et surement très mal isolée, mais d'après le plan situé […] dans la chambre ce ne doit pas être le cas de toutes les chambres. Erg goed hotel, locatie is centraal en veilig, inderdaad 10-15 muniuten lopen naar centrale city centre..wij deden veel te voet, maar de metro is om de hoek en brengt je binnen 2-3 minuten ook in city-centre. Hele schone, lichte kamers. Badkamer met douche erg ruim. Receptiepersoneel behulpzaam en spreken goed Engels. Wij namen geen onbijt in het hotel, […] om de hoek een super lekker onbijtgelegenheid. Enige minpuntje is dat het hotel gehorig is door het laminaat en door veel verkeer buiten, maar daar waren we na de eerste nacht helemaal aan gewend, we sliepen prima. Prima Hotel, vind het meer 3 sterren waard. Wij gaan zeker weer terug naar dit hotel. Adios! Read more
